Bristol Palin On Dancing With The Stars
In the same article that said Bristol Palin was going to be on Dancing With The Stars, it also said that Kirstie Alley would not. Yesterday that was one of the rumors, but I don't know if Kirstie Alley would be up for it. She does not seem like the get out and practice dance for four hours a day for two months kind of person.
I think of the Bristol Palin casting as stunt casting but when you come right down to it the whole show is kind of about stunt casting. They are trying to get people to watch so will take people who have been in the news a lot or have name recognition. That does not explain Audrina Patridge, but whatever.
I am trying to figure out where the stars part of Dancing With The Stars comes in. Maybe they should call it Dancing With Some Stars And Some People Who Could Use A Paycheck
Goddamn, those Palins are famewhores.
ReplyDeleteHow are they going to introduce her? "Abstinence advocate Bristol Palin!"
ReplyDeleteLMAO.
Yeah, she's a star....this is getting really stupid.
ReplyDeleteHeard David Hasslehoff & Troy Aikman are going to be on DWTS.
ReplyDeleteDon't see anything wrong with casting Bristol Palin. She might very well be a 'contenda!' Anyhow this show needs "vote-off" fodder just like any other reality show.
Sounds like she has Kate Gosselin disease.
ReplyDeleteImma have to skip it this season.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like a requirement that a former Dallas Cowboy football player be on every season of DWTS. Troy doesn't look like a dancer to me though, too stiff. But from what I hear Bristol Palin is kind of loose...
ReplyDeleteI've never seen this show and don't intend to start now. That being said, I watched some of Enty's clips of Kate Gosselin from last season - god awful.
ReplyDeleteI.CANNOT.STAND.THIS.FAMILY!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI CAN'T STAND HER HAIR POUF!
I hope they change her hairstyle.
Ughhhhhhh
Michael K. on dlisted calls the show "Dancing with the Has Beens." That pretty much sums up everyone who has been on that show.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't Michael K. call it Dancing With the has beens?
ReplyDeleteOppps, sorry jheartjacksparrow.
ReplyDeleteWow, the Bristol and Levi engagement and breakup drama apparently didn't get enough media spin for her taste. I find the DWTS experience to be quite in contrast to her "single mom toughing it out on her own" story that she's been hawking to the press for a while now. It's all crap, and the entire family is a blight upon us.
ReplyDelete...and I forgot to say, I hope the Hoff feels her up on DWTS set.
ReplyDeleteSo, Miss Abstinence, who's gonna
ReplyDeletewatch the baby while you're holed up in a dancing warehouse for months? How does this stint promote the 'Christian Family Values' that your mom represents?
I'm sure your Mom won't babysit for ya, she's so busy touring the country with her "Save America from those radicals tour.."
Besides, every time you perform for your patriotic American audience, there are 3 critics waiting to give you their loving opinion.
Mama GRizzly can't save you from that. We know how well this family handles criticism.
What do we have to do to get these people to go away???
and she hast the nerve to say that Levi is a famewhore... if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black...
ReplyDeleteagree with you sage1 and mommasaid
ReplyDeleteMost single mothers don't get a 14,000 paycheck just to speak for an hour.....let's pretend we are like you.
Nope.
DEAR ZEUS! PLEASE LET THERE BE A BRISTOL + SITUATION HOOK-UP!!!
ReplyDeletethat is all.
thank you.
I don't watch the show but with Kate Gosselin and now Bristol Palin it seems like the producers are scraping the bottom of the barrel. There must be dozens of actors or singers who could be cast on this show but I guess they don't carry the taint of scandal to lure viewers. So nice to know we reward our celebutards for bad behavior.
ReplyDeleteI think they are just looking to pick up young viewers, you know teenagers and young unintelligent adults. A lot of them love the Kate Gosselin, Bristol Palin and Paris Hilton stories. They would be glued to the tv if Paris was on Dancing With The Wannabe Stars.
ReplyDeleteI think they would be better off getting one of those housewives on the show. I just might watch one of those trainwrecks but Bristol, Kate, Kim K. that's just for the young, dumb, hooked on reality tv children.
I read yesterday that Kirstie was teaming up with Maxsim and I thought uh-oh, somebody's gonna end up dead and I'm afraid it'd be my babydoll, Maks. I'm happy to hear Kirstie isn't going to be on the show or if she is, I don't want her partnered with Maks. Let Derek have a go at her.
ReplyDeleteIt really doesn't matter to me. Every year I think the line-up is boring and yet I never miss an episode.
Maybe a better name for the show would be "Dancing with People You Might Have Heard Of". That being said, I've never watched it and I think I'll continue to abstain.
ReplyDeletelittle miss s & m (hee), you literally took the words out of my mouth.
ReplyDeletethe only time i ever even THOUGHT of watching the show was when cloris leachman was on. now THAT'S a star!!
Oh God I just found out some more info.
ReplyDeleteFlorence Henderson will be the meemaw that no one will want to vote off.
Palin will be the young mother that everyone will sympathize with and feel guilty if they vote her off because "she's just trying to make a decent living for her child" like Kate Gosselin who walked away with over $250,000.
Hoff will be charming so they won't want to vote him off.
Brandy won't get any votes even if she's good because people want revenge on her from the accidental death. She'll be voted off really fast.
The Situation will be the "cute" guy that they won't vote off.
Michael Bolton will be on it so I'm hoping that he can dance and if so will vote for him.
Jennifer Gray will be the professional dancer that they'll make excuses for and will probably win.
I can't stand Levi or Bristol, but wasn't she just saying not too long ago that the reason she broke up with him was because of his famewhoring and trying to get on tv?
ReplyDeletePot, Kettle.
We have John McCain to thank for this!
ReplyDeleteIs this our punishment, America, for not voting for McCain?!
ReplyDeleteA positive and hopeful news flash from Florida. Sarah Palin is in town tonight, probably to support the mobster who will probably be the next governor, and she was scheduled for the largest theater in the performing arts center but they moved her to the smallest because they could not sell enough tickets. God, please let this be a sign of things to come, because I am so sick of that woman and her double-chinned, poofy haired, lock the barn door after the horse gets out daughter.
ReplyDeleteWell, it is settled. I am 100% most definitely NOT their demographic.
ReplyDeleteBut I do need a paycheck, so where do I sign up?
Instead of dancing with the has beens this is getting into dancing with the never was vicinity. God they are scraping the very bottom of the barrel with this cast. I thought Grosselin was a new low but Palin and that set of abs from Jersey Shore is about as low as you can get. I've never watched the show and God knows this doesn't make me want to at all.I wonder who's going to watch baby Palin while all this is going on.
ReplyDeleteOh God, pleasepleaseplease let her hook up with The Situation & get preggers again!
ReplyDeleteC'mon, y'all know it'd be *awesome*!
OMG...I wonder if there will be a Sarah Palin appearance in the audience that we can all look forward to.
