1995 Tina Fey Commercial vs The Dancing Dog
Apparently puffy shirts and vests were all the rage back in 1995 at least while filming bank commercials. It is also in the running for worst commercial ever. Hard to believe this is the same Tina Fey.

Did you know dogs love techno music? You do now.
something is off about that dog or the video. or maybe it's the X he took 20mins ago.
ReplyDeleteWow. Tina. Haircut. Yikes. Is that even real??
ReplyDeleteCute puppies! More cute puppies please. :)
LOL, Tina...you look like a total butch in this commercial. (its kinda hot)
ReplyDeleteThe dog video was stupid.
I hate to be a killjoy, but that dog video is NOT funny. Something is seriously neurologically wrong with that dog. The other dog has three legs, so this is clearly some sort of farm for disabled dogs. That dog is not dancing, and it's not funny. Poor guy, but it looks like someone is giving him a good home at least.
ReplyDeleteHere is the dog, Soba. She has a neurological disorder. Again, not a funny video. http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/features/mutts/blog/2007/10/soba_oct_4.html.
ReplyDeleteThe dog video is unbearably sad.
ReplyDeleteEnty, we all had tapestry vests in the 80. It was ubiquitous.
ReplyDeletenow I feel incredibly bad for calling the dog video 'stupid'. Poor girl. :(
ReplyDeleteWas Tina Fey really 25? She looks younger now at 40.
ReplyDeleteI had a shirt like that but with a collar. I think I still have it in my closet.
ReplyDeleteCan I at least continue to laugh at the title, "Dog Raves His Face Off"?
Speaking of old commercials, I love that they will never stop showing Evangeline Lily's 'Livelinks' commercials on late night tv. How much do you think she regrets doing them?
ReplyDeleteI sent a dog to Rolling Dog Ranch a few years ago. She was blind and deaf and I rescued her from a 3 X 3 pen where she was living in her own shit, several feet high.
ReplyDeleteRolling Dog Ranch is an AWESOME place and that dog in the video might actually be dancing in her own neurologivccally impaired way, because the animals there are very happy. They are all "disabled" but the staff there considers them just as abled as any other animals and the blind dogs actually run in the fields and roll around having fun. Henace the name of the place. They survive on donations, in case anyone wants to help, go to their website

ReplyDelete@sunnyside: I totally had a tapestry vest. It was horrendous.
ReplyDeleteLOL! she could use this clip as one of her "flashbacks" that she frequently does on episodes of 30 rock....
ReplyDeleteThanks for donating the link. I'm donating.
