As anticipated, this weekend was filled with weddings. Lots and lots of them. It was like everyone decreed that somehow July 10 was the perfect day to get married for celebrities.Carrie Underwood got married over the weekend to hockey player Mike Fisher.
Over in Italy, John Krasinski got married to Emily Blunt.Justin Timberlake, Kim Kardashian, and Lebron James were in New York City to watch LaLa Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony get married.Even Martin Lawrence got married. The comedian and his very, very longtime girlfriend must have decided to go ahead and really make July 10, celebrity wedding day. While everyone else had all out weddings and receptions, Martin did his at his house. Granted the couple did have 120 people show up including Eddie Murphy and Denzel Washington, but it was at his house. That must be a big house. 120 people?
Meh i say 1-4 makes it past 5 years
ReplyDeleteI'm absolutely shocked that John and Emily went ahead with their wedding. I don't understand them at all and I believe they were revealed to be the couple where the fiancé brings home men to his house. Bizarre.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the couples. Now lets see who will still be married 2 years from now.
ReplyDeleteMaybe John's into cuckolding. Some couples are. If both Emily and John are into a nontraditional sex life and are happy, more power to them.
ReplyDeleteI did too! Had no idea we´d picked celebrity weekend.. :)
ReplyDeleteLaLa's kind of a dumdum. She allowed Kim Kardashian to give (read: pick out) her the Vera Wang gown. Clearly Kimmy wants to make sure Kimmy's the best-looking Athlete's Bride for the foreseeable future.
ReplyDeleteI agree Kate!
ReplyDeleteMartin Lawrence lives in Beverly Park. He can fit that many people in his home.
I'm bummed that John K. didn't get married at our hometown church where he was an altar boy! Glad I didn't bother stalking it.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Linnea!
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised at the Blunt-Krasinski nuptials also. Like Rose, I thought they were the couple in that cuckold blind item. Oh well, whatever flips their switches!
No idea who LaLa Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony are.
Well, I hope John K. is happy T_T
ReplyDelete-Congratulations!! @linnea
OMG. cann't believe that Krasinksi married Blunt. She's very beneath him.
ReplyDeleteCongrats linnea! :)
ReplyDeletethanks guys! Do you ever get used to referring to yourself as someones wife? Its such a strange, awesome feeling! :)
ReplyDeletei'm not normally a cynic...but oooooh, we need to get a pool going NOW.
ReplyDeleteyay, congrats, linnea!
ReplyDeleteCongrats linnea! It does take awhile to get used to your new title! It's even stranger when you are referred to as someone's "mother"!
ReplyDeleteI think we all lost the pool about John and Emily even making it to the altar, so Pookie start making that pool for how long it lasts. I'm feeling a 1 year max if there is no unexpected baby action.
ReplyDeleteOh! Congrats @linnea :-)
ReplyDeleteas usual, i wish them all luck and am withholding my cynicism for now.
ReplyDeleteisn't it just possible emily blunt is NOT a whore and they got married for the right reasons? i mean, it's all gossip after all.
I hope nancer is right. I've said this before, but he is from such a solid family, Dad and bro are docs, super church going, etc., I just don't see him getting married for the eff of it.
ReplyDeleteMourning the lost of single Krasinski
ReplyDeleteCongratulations @linnea! It does take a while to get used to hearing "wife" but I was so ready to stop being "fiance" i was glad to trade in the title! :)
Congratulations, Linnea!
ReplyDeleteI hope for the bride's sake that Martin Lawrence is less of a misogynist than he used to be. :(
Congrats, Linnea! Hope to see a wedding pic in the next random reader photos! ;-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Linnea! Very happy for you.
ReplyDeleteCelebrity Marriage Death Pool, right on.
My sister had her wedding reception at her house. It was cramped and loud, but everyone had a blast. It is possible.
congrats linnea--can you send in a photo?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, linnea!! You'll get used to being a "wife". After 15 years, I barely remember being single.
