Today's Blind Items - Kindness
This finally working again former B+ movie actress who dated some of the biggest names in LA and also tended to get a little crazy at times, spent last night comforting a lost Alzheimer's patient found wandering the neighborhood. Upon realizing the elderly lady spoke Russian, the actress called up a friend to translate and they were able to get enough information for police to return the senior safely to her family. In the meantime, the lady was all smiles as she relaxed in the actress's living room with the family dog on her lap.
Kirsten Dunst?
ReplyDeleteWhoever it is, this was very kind of her.
Dunst is a great guess. I'm on that train.
ReplyDeletei agree with @adventurouskate ..whoever it is, very kind.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is older. Sean Young? Didn't she go a little crazy for James Woods? And that whole Cat Woman thing? She's working again....
ReplyDeletewow, that is so sweet. you have to be so tender with Alzheimers patients so they don't get agitated. shows the star has a kind heart :)
ReplyDeleteWinona Ryder?
ReplyDeleteShe's one of the leads in Black Swan and she's currently shooting Ron Howard's new movie.
"crazy at times" made me think of Margot Kidder.
ReplyDeleteheather graham?

ReplyDeletei like Winona Ryder guess
ReplyDeleteLove the Winona Ryder guess
ReplyDelete100% Sharon Stone
ReplyDeleteMade me think of Mischa Barton, though she's probably not B+
ReplyDeleteOh yes Winona!
ReplyDeleteI want to say Anne Heche for some reason.
ReplyDeleteI immediately thought of Winona.
ReplyDeleteBiggest names in LA though and not Hollywood.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Moxy. Sounds like Heather Graham.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a good guess but that's a lovely story :)
ReplyDeleteDrew Barrymore
ReplyDeleteor Juliette Lewis
Rose McGowan?
ReplyDeleteOMG, off-topic, but I just went to IMDB and they cast Daniel Craig as Mikael Blomkvist! Woo hoo!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDoes this have some connection to Mila Kunis, who speaks fluent Russian?
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely not Dunst, she is currently in Sweden filming a foreign movie.
ReplyDeleteHow about Linda Hamilton, it was just announced she is going to be on Chuck.
@Christine: Sean Young popped into my head as soon as the word crazy was dropped
ReplyDeleteREVEAL in January, please!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, awesome, heartwarming.
I needed a good story today, thanks, Enty!
Wynona Ryder is the only solid B+ named. She played a "crazy" in Girl Interupted.
ReplyDeleteWhy is this even a blind item? It is a good thing. Hell, such nice things would even be good for someone's career.
ReplyDeletei vote for winona.
ReplyDeletedrew's been working all along, not 'finally working again.'
Okay, I can see Daniel Craig as Blomkvist. Not TOO pretty, I was upset when I heard it might be Brad Pitt. Maybe they won't screw it up TOO bad.
ReplyDeleteI thought of Winona right away as well.
ReplyDeleteThis totally sounds like Winona Ryder.
ReplyDeleteWinona is a good guess, but I like Sean Cat Woman Young better.
ReplyDeleteno sharon stone was in ny.
ReplyDeleteno sharon stone was in ny.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was Drew Barrymore but Winona Ryder is a better guess. I'm jumping on that train.
ReplyDeletenot all alzheimer's patients are violent crazy. some never reach that stage. just my two cents.
ReplyDeletepoor woman. glad someone stopped to help.
my FIL tried to wander off once or twice, and he got lost walking the dog around the block. luckily he was well known in the neighborhood.
Robert - Mila Kunis, is the 1st person to pop into my head as the Russian translator...
ReplyDeletecould be Kirsten Dunst
The 2 starred together in 2001 - Get Over It
Once upon a time those 2 were inseparable..
@ LOOneybin, that is a very good deduction. Doesn't Kirsten have a little dog?
ReplyDeleteI don't usually post guesses, but this one sounds like Elisabeth Shue.
ReplyDeleteI like Kirten Dunst, so I hope it is her. What a nice thing to do.
ReplyDeleteAnd why is this a blind?
Winona Ryder.
ReplyDeleteWinona FTW. Except that she's A list.
ReplyDeleteRose McGowan.
ReplyDeleteDated Marilyn Manson and Robert Rodriguez. Has done some pretty crazy shit in the past (esp. when w/ Manson). Known for her work with small english bulldogs (dog on the lap). And she was in the photos today. That's my best guess.
Sean Young. I hope this will be revealed.
ReplyDeleteEh... I don't see enough here to be as sure as everyone else that it's Winona. Especially the "family dog" part. Makes me think, ya know, family. Married. Probably kids.
ReplyDeleteI like the Winona guess....
ReplyDeleteJuliette Lewis was my first thought.
ReplyDeleteI am just going to go out on a limb and say... Claire Forlani? Formerly linked to Jeremy London (I know, fallen from grace), Benicio Del Toro, John Cusack, Brad Pitt, Ben Stiller and Keanu Reeves. She seems like a sweetheart and this sounds like something she might do. And she's married, but the kids aren't hers.
ReplyDeleteOh wait, nevermind, I completely forgot about the "got a little crazy" part. Scratch my guess.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Minnie Driver?

ReplyDelete@trinnean - I agree, "Family Dog" could mean this is someone married with childern...
ReplyDeleteLove the Winona guess.
I really don't think Winona ever went a little crazy, unless I am missing something (?). All Winona did was get caught shoplifting and have a huge pill problem as far as I know.
ReplyDeleteI really like the Anne Heche guess. She went bonkers.
Sharon Stone gets a little nutty sometimes, but nothing I would consider on the level of a little crazy...
I like the Winona guess.
ReplyDeleteBtw, recent studies have shown that DHA slows the progession of Alzheimers and possible prevents in people likely to develope it. My parents take it, and they have a friend who was in the early stages who takes it everyday and it has almost stopped in it's progession. So, there is some hope out there.
It definitely can't be Wynona, because she used to be an A actress back in the 80's. At one time was an "It" girl.
ReplyDeleteIt can't be Kirsten Dunst, because she used to be an A- actress for a brief stunt and was an "It" girl when she did the first Spiderman. She's also was not crazy (compared to Wynona). She was just into drugs and alcohol and "supposedly" got help.
My guess is Heather Graham. She's a bit loopy, though seems like she could have a sweet side. She also only ever hit B+ status at the most. Never an A. She also started getting more work after she had a hit with "The Hangover".
really like the wynonna guess. i remember, but not the specifics, hearing once how she was super involved with like the murder or something of a little girl that i believe lived on the commune that she grew-up on...i could be crazy tough.
ReplyDeleteHeather Graham had a line in the Hangover when she flew back in her chair at the blackjack table and landed on the floor, "I get a little crazy when I gamble." I'm not sure if she said at times, she may have.
ReplyDeleteRobert and looney, I thought Mila too for the Russian translator too! She's such a little doll.
Everyone seems to know everyone in Hollywood. Heather is def B+ list.
I tossed around Heather Graham as a possibility too, but when I looked at who she'd been with I wasn't sure there was enough star power in those matches. Like, her most powerful match is with Benicio or Heath Ledger, everyone else is a smidge below (Matt Dillon, James Woods, Elias Koteas, Matthew Perry, etc.). Unless by "biggest names" we're really just talking about name recognition and not BIG stars.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like Winona to me! I was thinking Kirstin Dunst, but I think Winona fits the "dated some of the biggest names in LA" (which suggests not just actors) much better.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy they cast Daniel Craig as Blomquist. I was also worried it'd be Brad Pitt. I am still worried about Lisbeth because the actress in the swedish movie was so perfect & I can't see anyone topping that.
awesome balla - She gave money for a reward for Polly Klaus, from Petaluma and did a bunch of things to support that.
ReplyDeleteHeather Locklear. Though I'm not sure she's B+. For name recognition though she would be.
ReplyDelete@Ellen- yep, that's what it was. thanks! my impression of her has been different since i heard about that.
ReplyDeleteWell to be different I am going to go with Tara Reid.
