This Should Be A Movie
A man who is basically homeless came up with the best idea ever. Unfortunately it was a crime. Last week, Travis Kevie broke into a bar that had recently been closed. He reopened the bar and began serving drinks to customers and making money. The bar stayed open for about four days. At that point, a detective read an article in the local newspaper about how this club had reopened and who the new owner of the club was.
Well, the detective knew that the club had lost their liquor license and also knew the owner from frequent run ins with the law. The next thing you know, Travis is in jail and the bar closed again. The bar was serving about 30 customers a day and the inventory started with Travis buying a six pack of beer and selling each beer individually. He used that money to buy more liquor and just kept it going. I could definitely see this being the foundation for a movie.
Thanks captivagirl
Lol. Genius! Although he should obviously have quit while he was ahead ;)
ReplyDeleteProps to him for trying. I'd be afraid that the electricity would go out, the old owner would find out and have issues, the cops....Although from the look of his eyes in the photo he looks like he may have been sharing in his bartending stock, so maybe he didn't care.
ReplyDeleteah, he's a good little future enterpriser!
ReplyDeletejoel would be proud!
Awesome! Gotta give him props for trying.
ReplyDeleteAnd some say homeless people don't want to work...
ReplyDeleteThis inspires me to finally start my own business.
Sadly, who wants to bet he'll do more jail time than LL? LL probably has a longer rap sheet, too. :(
Someone hire this man!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Good for him. I, too, think he deserves a legit job (once the legal BS of, oh you know, STEALING is over with).
ReplyDeleteSomeone should hire him b/c he's got serious balls and drive and spitit (no pun intended...)
What I can't believe is that he gave an interview to a newspaper as the new bar owner.
ReplyDeleteI love the story and he is pretty slick. Good job!
ReplyDeleteYou really have to give the guy credit. What nerve! I'm glad to see the spirit of the entrepreneur is still alive in America. Learn a lesson, kids!
ReplyDeletewish my youngest had half his drive! hope he doesn't get into too much trouble. isn't this the sort of drive that america was built on? :)
ReplyDeleteI could definitely see this being the foundation for a movie.
ReplyDeletePretty funny but I see it more as a segment on the "World's Stupidest Criminals".
Wow! That would make for a fun movie!
ReplyDeleteOoh, there's a bar near my work that has been shut down for a year or so. Maybe I should get some of my friends together and reopen it!
