Jennifer Aniston Has A Very Dangerous Stalker
I don't know what is lately, but the stalkers that are out there seem so much more violent and potentially harmful than ever before. In the past on the site I have joked about some of the celebrity stalkers out there, but lately it does not seem fun at all.
The latest being stalked by someone who scares the hell out of me is Jason Peyton. According to TMZ, this guy was arrested by police after his father tipped off Los Angeles police that his son was driving cross country to marry Jennifer. Apparently marrying in Jason's world means waiting for days on end in one place waiting for her to make an appearance. Oh, and just in case she doesn't want to say yes to what I am sure is his fabulous marriage proposal he brought along a sharp object, a bag and a roll of duct tape. Probably for the reception maybe.
Peyton wanted the world to know he was serious about his love for Jennifer so he carved his messages of love on his car. Hmm. You would think that on the drive from Pennsylvania to California someone might have noticed those and pulled him over to have a little chat.
Peyton has spent some time in a mental hospital in the past and has stabbed himself and beat his mother. He is supposed to be taking drugs to control his behavior but recently stopped.
Scary. Glad they were able to catch him, the guy sounds completely off his rocker.
ReplyDeleteEesh...I don't care awesome having a job in entertainment may be (or whatever other job that puts you in the public eye); I can't see any of them as worth it when you gain that kind of attention :( But then again, stalkers scare the hell out of me.
ReplyDeletementally ill people often don't take their meds because 'normal' doesn't feel...well,normal to them. it's uncomfortable. it's a huge problem with unmonitored schizophrenics.
ReplyDeletei feel very sorry for his parents. it has to be agony.
how frightening and sad for both sides of this story. glad jennifer is safe and i hope the guy gets the help he needs.
ReplyDeleteAgree on all points except the disbelief that no one stopped him. Look at the Twihards Enty. If the police stopped everyone who proclaimed that they wanted to be with Edward FOREVER until they are joined in death then the force wouldn't have time for much else.
ReplyDeleteI think that being followed by paparazzi and every single pic posted online about where they are, where they're going to be and the endless stories with magazines makes them think that they know them(celebrities).
ReplyDeleteI mean one thing is to find someone hot or interesting but to think that they are the exact match or that they character is real, it's just scary.
Wasn't there another stalker that was also driving to meet with an actress and I believe he told the cop he was going to marry her?
ReplyDeleteI don't like JA, but no one deserves this.
ReplyDeleteThis is the number one reason I don't want to be famous. There are way too many freaking crazies out there, unmonitored, delusional, and violent. Hope they lock this guy away for good.
This guy was arrested days ago. So why didn't the story break until the morning after Brangelina's big premiere last night? Sooo transparent Jen, try again.
ReplyDeleteStacy ----he was arrested days ago but she was granted a restraining order today..thats why.
ReplyDeleteBesides if she wanted attention away from the premiere she would have announced it a day before - not after.
Gee Stacy, would you have rather they DIDN'T stop him?
ReplyDeleteYikes. How disturbing. How on earth do these stalkers always seem to be able to find where celebrities live? It can't be that easy. Can it? I hope not.
ReplyDelete@cathy WTH does that have to do with anything?
ReplyDelete@kath Right...big time movie star's stalker was arrested in ehr neighborhood, yet its kept out of the press until today. Not buying it one little bit. It was released to the media at her bidding for greatest attention. On the day Lilo goes to jail and everyone is focused on the court system.
I feel so very very sad for his parents.
ReplyDelete@ nancer "mentally ill people often don't take their meds because 'normal' doesn't feel...well,normal to them."
ReplyDeleteSpoken like a person who's *NEVER* been on meds. They don't make you feel "normal", they make you feel "zombified". Which is why most people go off them - if they could come up with some that made you feel "normal" believe me, people would be clamoring for them.
I've finally found some that work - at least for now. So, yeah.
