Drugs Found On Bret Michaels' Tour Buses
I know this must come as a shock to all of you, so I will break it to you gently. There were drugs found on Bret Michaels' tour buses. I know, I know who would ever think that rock stars and the people who travel with rock stars would ever use drugs. What is this world coming to? Late Wednesday night, both of the buses in Bret's caravan were pulled over because of a lack of trailer tag lights. That just sounds to me like some kind of contrived reason to pull over a tour bus and hope for a big flashy arrest.
Oh, and just by coincidence, the police happened to have their drug dogs with them. The dogs sniffed out some pot on Bret's bus and he let the officers search the other bus where some Schedule II drugs were found. In Indiana, where this occurred, drugs on that list include coke and meth.
Surprisingly no one was arrested. Just tickets issued and prosecutors will decide later what to do about it all.
I am utterly shocked. Shocked. I tell you shocked. How can this be?
ReplyDeleteI'm betting they'll drop the charges if they can't figure out who can reliably get pinned with possession. Whomever might get the charges, I'm sure it won't be Bret.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing Coke, rather than meth. But neither would surprise me.
ReplyDeleteEcstasy is also a schedule 2 drug isn't it? And morphine? I'm not so sure about morphine.
I know mushrooms and pot are schedule I. Federally, at least. Not in all states.

ReplyDelete"tickets were issued". Concert tickets probably
ReplyDelete@KellyLynn,I agree with you about charges being dropped. No telling how many people were going in and out of that bus when it was parked, they wont be able to prove who it belonged to.
ReplyDeleteA Schedule II drug can be anything from Oxycodone(Percocet)to Coke.
Even if they found one Percocet lying in the crack of a couch, thats all it takes to be charged.
lol @ valerie! That made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteAgree with other posters, though - what a non-story. Find me a rock star bus that DOESN'T have drugs on it, and THAT will surprise me.
it doesn't sound to me like there's enough to build a case on here and they don't know who was in possession and they didn't have much probable cause to search the bus... so where's the story?
ReplyDeleteit is somewhat surprising bret would have it on his bus tho. for some reason i'd hoped his health scares would settle him down a little.
I sure hope it wasn't Brett using. I'd think he is so grateful to be alive that he be doing anything and everything to keep his body healthy.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Brett's entourgae/band were doing it, otherwise he's pushing his luck.
ReplyDeleteLOL Valerie!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if they were pulled over for a flashy arrest, or because cops everywhere are desperate for funds, so they're ticketing as much as they can!
The thng about Bret is - he doesn't look or speak like a man who does heavy drugs. Now - his entourage, or band...
ReplyDeleteI'd be shocked if someone found a tour bus *without* drugs on it.
ReplyDeleteIn Indiana, where I live, shrooms are a class D felony. Such bull shit. If that had been me instead of Bret M. I would be in jail right now or signing up for drug classes and probation.
ReplyDeleteYawn. Just remember this story when Bret Michaels has his next medical emergency and everyone is making little shrines to him and crying their eyes out.
ReplyDeleteIt's the same self destructive behavior that most celebs engage in-like Christina Applegate sucking on cigarettes night and day even though she already had (breast) cancer once! (Hopefully her pregnancy will induce her to quit, but I'm not holding out much hope!)
Bunch of idiots.
That'll do, pig. That'll do.
ReplyDeletecan't those type of drugs cause an anneurism, if used heavily or possible over dose?
