Natalee Holloway Suspect Is Suspect In New Murder

During the investigation into the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, Joran Van der Sloot was the number one suspect. According to The National Enquirer, police in Lima Peru are actively looking for him in connection with the murder of Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez, who is 21 and the daughter of a wealthy businessman in Peru. It seems that like Natalee, Joran was the last person to see Stephany alive. Stephany's body was found this morning in an alley. She had been repeatedly stabbed until she died.

  1. Holy Moly, this is some juicy scoop!

This boy basically thumbed his nose at authorities during the whole Holloway investigation, and it always seemed his father kept him from facing the full heat.

Wow. This will be one that I'll watch carefully.

    Thanks for the scoop, Enty!

  2. well if anyone wasn't sure if it was him who killed natalee hollaway before - i dont think it's a coincidence that two girls he was with ended up dead.

i feel terrible for both families. i cant believe this sociopath was free and roaming around the world. sick effer.

i hope they nail his ass to the wall this time.

oh and daddy can't help you in lima hun, if i were you i would much rather have been in the aruban jail system than the one in peru.

crosses fingers that this asshole gets what he deserves!

  3. on another note, i wonder if he has been involved in murdering any other young girls? it has been 5 years since the natalee case.

i was in aruba at age 18 the same year, but a month before, natalee disappeared with my best friend at the now infamous carlos and charlies. i clearly remember some kids some the netherlands hitting on us. i always wondered if it was him. probably not, but still always creeped me out.

  4. I've been following this case since her disappearance. I feel so horrible for Natalee's family. Hopefully, justice will finally be served. I hope he rots in hell.

  5. AAARRRGGH!

Has everyone seen the hidden camera footage of Joran talking with the undercover reporter who befriended him? He did everything but admit to killing Natalee. He said she would never be seen again.

He's sociopath and needs to go to prison forever. God I hope they get him this time.

Daddy can't help him anyway, Daddy died.

I always thought he had a smug, in-your-face attitude. He also told different stories every time he was questioned. I've never had any doubt he did it. Now apparently he's done it again. I hope they get him put away this time. I don't imagine prison in Peru would be as much fun as prison in Aruba.

  7. Lock up his father, too.

  8. @ amazonblue

i remember watching it with my roomie when it aired. i got the chills when the undercover guy said "but joran, what if she was in a coma? what if she wasn't dead?"

and he basically shrugged like oh yeah, shit happens.

    sick fuck.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Yes, amazonblue, I saw that. Gives me chills to recall it. I hope this little fucker is caught.

  10. Damn!!

    Sick bastard.

  11. I hope they nail him good for this murder, but I'm wondering if besides Natalee there were any others. He's been to a lot of places.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I saw that film too Amazonblue and I thought this kid is a total piece of shit.

His family had enough money and influence so that he could do it again. They must be so proud.

Just like O.J., karma finally got him.

  13. Holy mother of god. I hope Greta Van Susteran is still on top of this. She broke so much info on this - and the Lacey Peterson case back in the day. Yes, not only am I a gossip junkie, but also news, politics and world affairs junkie as well.

Can't wait to see what happens.

On a happier note, Aruba rocks, and I recommend you all go there and have a massive cocktail on the gorgeous beach. Le sigh....

    ReplyDelete
  14. Please for the love of God put this guy away before he kills someone else!

  15. Oh and thanks Enty for sharing this with us. I haven't read this anywhere else today.

    Good looking out. :)

  16. Peru has the death penalty for "exceptional crimes" .. I am not sure if the fact he is a potential serial murderer would be considered exceptional or not. But I am fairly certain he would not survive in a Peruvian prison for too terribly long as a gringo who has killed a native Peruvian girl.

So .. here's hoping he ends up like this poor girl .. stabbed until he bleeds out.

OH .. and CBS says she was found in a hotel room. Scumbag left Peru - no doubt in a hurry - on Monday and is considered "on the run" by Aruban authorities.

  17. OK - I am not sure what I stumbled upon but I think it is Joran Van whatever's flickr account:

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/joranvandersloot/

(sorry - I don't remember how to put in clickable links)

He actually has a defense fund setup. He must have been getting off on all of the attention, too, because there are pictures of him from interviews. I saw some of the photo tags had Natalie's name.

Do you think this is his actual flickr account? If so, it is absolutely astounding.

    ReplyDelete
  18. That is horrible. Assuming he did indeed kill the Ramirez girl, I hope the Peruvian justice system tracks him down and nails his ass to the wall.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Holy fucking shit. This really shocked me.

They'll catch him of course. And this time the girl's family has money. Natalie's family was just middle class, didn't have the $ to nail this kid's ass to the wall.

I hope he rots in a Peruvian prison till the end of time. No death penalty for him, please. I'd prefer to think of him suffering for decades to come.

  20. This has been breaking news here. I live in Hoover, AL, which is just 10 minutes from Mountain Brook, where Natalee is from. Her mother has been thru so much. As well as her father, brother and Jug. This boy destroyed them all. I hope he rots in prison then hell for eternity.

  21. Natlee's family had money, but Joran's father knew the law and how to protect his son. He died knowing the truth.

  23. i hope his father rots in hell for covering up everything.

now let's see the mom bawling about her innocent son.

i too have been following it since this happened, days days spent watching Nancy Grace and her disaster porn.

    FINALLY.

    RIP Natallee and Stephany.

  24. Is Natalie's mother still with Jon Benet's father (John Ramsey)? I always thought that was incredibly odd...John's son, Burke, likely killed Jon Benet w/John & Patsy covering it up. Disturbing news all around.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I hope he DOESN'T get the death penalty. I want this scum in general population. Now he can be a victim for the rest of his life. I hope he gets passed around like a joint at a bonfire.

    ReplyDelete
  26. @blondegossip - ITA! I always thought Burke was involved. Possibly accidental, but involved.

    ReplyDelete
  27. ms. cool,
    I think it's real.

  28. @mikey lived in Boulder at time then had friend in Boulder DA's office when investigation dragged on-Ramseys were effed up ppl, that child beauty pagent stuff was cover for child sex/porn trade ring going on in "wealthy" circles there. Burke was probably acting out against abuse himself. Boulder police just collossally (sp?) screwed up crime scene/bowed to Ramsey's influence so case disintegrated before DA could prosecute. Child sex/porn trade ring probably goes on to this day-seriously disturbed people to say the least. Very sad.

  29. He's got the dead eyes, that's for sure.

Amazonblue - I saw that, too. He all but directly admitted it. he acts so fucking entitled that I'm sure he blames both girls for their deaths.

Jax - rotting in hell seems a bit too good for him. I'd like him to be drawn and quartered while someone pulls his dick from his body with a rope.

  30. @ blondegossip -

wow that is some juicy dirt. i always thought there was something incredibly effed up about that family.

got any more dish? i would love to hear it!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oh he's absolutely a sociopath. No question. With an entitled and teflon attitude that puts him in the place of suspect #1 for this new crime.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @Nikki

SO effed up. Don't have much more to add but definitely know all of this from reliable source & it's not really a secret (in CO at least) anymore-especially now that Patsy died. The other theory is Patsy did it (accidentally) while spanking/disciplining Jon Benet for bed wetting-classic red flag for sex abuse (along w/bladder infections the poor child had suffered from for most of her short life--trips to doctor/medical records confirmed this information for police). But based on friend in DA's office info, at the time they were going forward with theory that Burke did it & parents covered. (eg: Patsy absolutely wrote the "ransom" note-her handwriting confirmed many times by different experts)
The Boulder police did not have much kidnapping/murder experience and officers on call for Xmas were least experienced. Once FBI called in (as they usually are with potential kidnapping cases) the Boulder PD got possessive about case and didn't let feds do their job. Couple that with wealth/power of people in Ramsey's position in a relatively small town (especially then, in mid 90s) and the investigation/potential prosecution just crumbled. Another tidbit people forget-John Ramsey called for, and booked, a private plane to take the whole family to MI SAME DAY/time frame (Xmas day, to be exact) they called police to report "kidnapping"--who the hell leaves town when your daughter is missing/you've just reported her kidnapped?! And, instead of sealing off the crime scene, the police let entire family & some family friends remain in home--John actually found Jon Benet's body in basement room police had (supposedly) already searched and he carried her upstairs to police-evidence tampering much? None of it ever added up-same old story, though, money buys people freedom.

    ReplyDelete
  33. DNA evidence from the scene has since ruled out ANY Ramsay family members. let's not keep dragging them into this.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I dunno. I'm one of those people who totally thinks the Ramsays know exactly what happened to poor JonBenet.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I saw something that exonerated the Ramsay family.
Primetime, Dateline, one of those. There was a homless man on a bike in the area at the time of the death and the police never followed up on that guy. The police zeroed in on the parents and wouldn't let it go. Watching the video of the cops accusing the parents of JonBenet's death was grueling.

Of course, I also saw a news special that "proved" there was only one shooter in the JFK assasination, so who knows?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I wonder how many other women he has harmed/killed? Didn't he get caught recruiting underage girls for the purpose of prostitution a few years ago? I think it was in Thailand.

    ReplyDelete
  37. @jax et al--that DNA evidence did not rule out anything, just added another mystery DNA to the mix....and remember, the crime scene was not secured/the body was moved/everything was tampered with thanks to police inadequacy. It's not dragging them through anything - its just what happened. The intruder theory is a joke--there were no footprints in the *fresh* snow outside the home/property/beneath the windows/no alarm went off (they had expensive security systemt)/etc. Not trying to be rude or start an argument but also must speak for victim who never had a chance. Also, the (new) DA making that big announcement "exonerating" the Ramseys w/"new" DNA evidence--one big political move/shenanigans.

Jon Benet was murdered by a family member and the police screwed up the investigation so they got away with it. Not a big surprise, happens every. single. day.

I was reading another article today, the guy who "confessed" to the Jon Benet murder has now been outed for living as a woman and soliciting children. Not that this means he's a murderer, but the child solicitation is bothersome.

  39. I used to be OBSESSED with the Natalee Holloway case (and all true crime). Read all the books on it, suffered through months of Nancy Grace & Greta interviews. There was no doubt in my mind that this sociopathic a-hole is the one that did it and it was only confirmed with that hidden camera sting AND the various other times he was on TV. I REALLY hope he finally gets locked up and FOR GOOD and has to spend every day being tortured for how much hurt/pain he has caused.
His dad is dead...hope he is currently rotting in hell to for helping cover up his son's murder.

  43. This is so sad. IMO if he is not stoppe he will do this again. I think that the whole world should boycott going to this island for vacations until these two cases are resolved.

  44. I'm reading that she was found dead in Joran's hotel room...

Chief of detectives Col. Miguel Canlla says that Stephany was murdered on Sunday, and the girl's father, Ricardo Flores, says van der Sloot appears with his daughter in video taken at a Lima casino early Sunday. Hotel employees also told police that they saw van der Sloot with Stephany over the weekend. The hotel room where Ramirez's body was found was registered under van der Sloot's name, says the paper.

  45. hello- the DNA they found exonerated them, you can tell family lineage in DNA. if it was Burke or a Ramsay, they would know. it wasn't.

    ReplyDelete
  46. @jax the dna or lack thereof does not exonerate or place guilt on anyone-just establishes that dna existed. in other words, the "new" dna did not belong to the Ramsey family but that "new" dna doesn't prove who did or did not murder jon benet.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I read on CNN that he fled to Chile.

    ReplyDelete
  48. The fact that the Peruvian girl's body was found in van der Sloot's hotel room is MAJOR.

I do hope if he is found guilty, this is a wakeup call to the Arubian authorities, because they sure seemed to have fucked up the investigation down there.

Terrible tragedy for both young women.

Back during the Holloway case, I was always baffled that a school trip was to Aruba. I mean, this type of thing can happen anywhere, but still.

And college/high school girls: as a former party animal, NEVER EVER EVER let your girl go off with strange boys at a bar/club in America or anywhere. Me and my crew always had a code about that shit.

  49. this was 5 years to the day of natalee's disappearance.

  50. Prayers out to Beth Holloway today.

What a mixed bag of emotions she must be feeling: rage, relief, hope, guilt and deep sadness for the loss of yet another beautiful young girl.

I hope they stick his punk ass in a nasty Peruvian jail crawling with Bubbas looking for a new Bitch.

Any of you true crime peeps post on WS?

    ReplyDelete
  51. @ BlondeGossip - Not starting a fight here, but DNA did exclude the Ramsey family. Period. Fresh fluids on the body did not belong to the family. I think because you live in Boulder, it is very easy to accept all these tidbits as fact. This is second, third and fourth hand rumours. That does not trump science.

We had a case last year where a young girl, Tori, was kidnapped and murdered by a young woman and her boyfriend. Unfortunately, for over a month, until Tori's body was found, Tori's family - especially her mother - were hung out to dry by the rumourmill. The town had accused, tried and convicted that poor mother...

    ReplyDelete
  52. @ blondegossip - I knew that they found DNA on Jon Benet's body, but wasn't it sperm or something that indicated rape? Was Burke old enough to be producing sperm at that time? I thought he was a few years away from puberty. I remember at the time of Jon Benet's murder a friend of mine was working for Premier Cruise Lines and the Ramsay's had had a cruise booked for over the Christmas holiday. Needless to say the cruise line let them cancel without penalty and refunded their money. (Can you imagine the bad press if they hadn't??)

Re Joran Van der Sloot he's a sociopath and rapits. He is now trying to make his way to a Dutch territory; the nearest is Suriname. Me, I'm hoping he gets caught and is sent to a Peruvian prison where the other inmates find him exceedingly attractive. Remember the prison horror stories when Lori Berenson was first imprisoned? Apparently Peruvian jails are incredibly harsh and primitive. I hope Van der Sloot enjoys his stay.

  53. @ThoughtElf - I read it when I get sucked into another story but i don't ever post there.

  54. @MCH - Still read there daily and I used to post there. Quite a few articulate folks jumped ship to post elsewhere. ;)

@MS - Tori's case is in my backyard regionally. You're damn straight they had the family hung out to dry, but her Dad sure has shown his character by raising awareness for missing kids. The newest media ban certainly is interesting. You just know TLM spilled the beans. Hope it isn't akin to another Deal With the Devil a la Karla.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Don't know some of the cases y'all are talking about. Bottom Line, there is not just smoke in this case. Joran was the last to see Natalee alive, and his father advise him, "no body, no crime". And there, they are allowed to do that.

Joran, no gettie that this time. Daddy is dead!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hey, do y'all think this was a celebration of getting away with murder 5 years ago with Natalee? Psychopaths are sick like this.

    ReplyDelete
  57. The Tori Stafford case took place near London, Ontario (2 hours from Toronto) and all the press here in Southern Ontario had the mother as a drug addict who held press conferences on her front lawn every day, with freshly done hair and makeup (a la Dina Lohan), while police searched for her 8 year old daughter. I and many others were shocked when a young man and his girlfriend were charged with walking Tori away after school (the girlfriend was caught leading her away on a security video). We were all convinced by the gossip that the mother was involved. Tori's body was only found when the killer told the police where she was. There was some distant "small world" kind of connection of the mother to the psycho that did it, and the press ban is very interesting. Turns out the mother was just a bit strange. The final outcome will be interesting, but the saddest part is that a beautiful young girl was raped and murdered and the girlfriend "got" Tori for her boyfriend. Hope Canada brings back the death penalty.
