Losing Spanish Goalie Gets Interviewed By Girlfriend

Spain lost to Switzerland yesterday in the World Cup. It was probably the biggest shocker of the tournament so far, and the goal allowed by the Spanish goalie was not as bad as the one given up to the US by England, but it was still a soft goal.

Anyway, so there you are crushed beyond crushed that you let down your team and your country and you come off the field and have to get interviewed by your girlfriend, who is actually a sideline reporter. She also didn't mess around with easy questioning. Basically she asked him how he managed to mess up so bad.

The video is in Spanish.

  2. I guess I need to learn Spanish. I would have liked to have been in a Swiss bar for after party.

  3. More to the story; Fans are saying she was behind the goal and may have distracted him.

I saw the match and Sara was behind the goal, I don't know if she was distracting Iker but come one it was definitely adding pressure.

    **Translation (short):

Sara-we don't have to take the other team for granted
Iker---that's true, We didn't expect to lose this game and we have to make the best of it. Anyway, the positive side is we learnt that any rival can win.

Sara-Spain has never lost to the Swiss before, what did they do right?
Iker---Yes,The managed to play well against us, good attack and finally the goal which was kind of lucky.

Sara-How are things in the dressing room? (team)
Iker---It's hard to fall this way but we have played right and in the next game with every chance a goal.

Sara-Are we still the favorite pick?
Iker---The group is the same and we have to win, more than favorite we need to keep playing football and make the score.
