Lady GaGa Classes Up Another New York Baseball Game

Friday night, Lady GaGa inserted herself into the center of another controversy. After appearing at Yankees game dressed in a jersey and bra and panties, Lady Gaga decided to visit the Yankees clubhouse after the game. Drunk out of her mind, the rumors all weekend were she had been permanently banned from Yankees games. Not true said the general manager of the Yankees, Brian Cashman.

"She's not banned. Celebrities aren't banned. If Michael Jordan showed up here he would have access (to the clubhouse), but not after a loss. That was the wrong time and the wrong place. It's been taken care of. ... Not her fault."

I think Brian is just upset he didn't get to meet her during her visit. I mean how often is it that the Yankees get half dressed celebrities coming to the locker room after a game. Plus, they are undefeated since she visited so, they might want her back.

Is the locker room located in the clubhouse? I say she should be banned.

  7. LOL the Yankees won 2 against the Mets. It's not like it's a big winning streak.

That said, I'm getting tired of her and her fans are worse lately. Stop making excuses for an attention whore.

  8. Would a non-celeb be allowed to attend a game dressed like that? I think not.

  9. since when is it ok to go out in public in your underwear?

  10. Love the reactions from the ladies around her. I bet they're wondering who in the hell is this nutcase?

With that outfit, at least she didn't have to get patted down going thru security, which was worse than an airport when I was there.

  11. Yankees season ticket holder here. Ridiculous. (A) I don't think this story is over. Cashman doesn't have the final word; Prince Hal does, and he was pretty pissed. I think she's banned. (B) NUMEROUS times (more than I can count - maybe 100 times in the last 10 years?) I have seen security ask "regular" fans to cover up, change their clothes or leave. My seats aren't in the bleachers or the front row; somewhere in the middle. When someone has a bikini top they're spilling out of, a Fuck Boston shirt, a shirt of Calvin urinating on a Sox cap, etc. - those are all specific things I've seen people have to change. So for her to get away with what she wore is bogus. (C) My husband was at the game Friday and not once did they show her on the jumbotron, which is unheard of for a celebrity in attendance - they always play it up - so I think the cameramen were told, don't show her. Obviously they were afraid of what she might do, based on the Mets game.

I always liked her, but I LOVE the Yanks. (Bronx born, here!) Sorry Gaga, we're done.

  12. She's so annoying lately. If I go to a game like that people would call me a lunatic, but when she does something like that people think she makes art.

  13. If she wasn't so annoying I'd feel horribly sorry for her. Wearing your bra & underwear in public is a desperate cry for attention, not edgy or artsy or any other way she or the most lunatic of her fans would defend this mess. Her need for attention is as much an addiction and as intense as a full-blown hardcore alcoholic's need for the booze. She also needs to grow up, a LOT.

  17. I hate when these stupid celebrities act like idiots, doing stuff the rest of us would get asked to leave for and take up seats that the real true fans who just want to see a game could have had!! and I cant believe I just sorta stuck up for Yankees fans, as I am a proud member of the Red Sox nation!

  18. What an ass. Exactly how desperate is she for attention again? Like she doesn't quite get enough as it is? My God, she's probably got a lot more serious problems than anyone could guess if she's still that needy at the height of her fame.

  19. I feel like Gaga is trying to get icon status before she earns it. I mean she is everywhere and anywhere.

Prove your mettle in 20 years and then you can be an icon. Right now your just getting annoying.

  20. God. So over Gaga. Blech. Buy some fucking pants, you attention whore.

  21. Are those two ladies in the pic with her? Bizarre.

Its totally ridiculous that she was half naked...what exactly was she doing while drunk? Yelling/screaming? I haven't heard that portion of the story yet.

@Cancan - My husband just tried to get us tickets for a game (we've never been) & the week we are up they are not playing. Boo. :(

  22. GaGa makes me GagGag. I hope her 15 minutes are about done. She really needs to go away.

As for "Celebrities aren't banned", are you fucking kidding me???

    ReplyDelete
  23. I still like her. And I agree that that is stupid and a cry for attention. But I still think she makes purty music.

  24. @MCH - get in touch the next time you are looking for tickets - we have a 4 year old so there are a lot of games we can't make it to.

  25. Thanks @Cancan! Will do!

  26. Unfortunately the no bra/pants fashion may continue. I've noticed the designers are all featuring this for next year so your everyday skank may copy the style by next summer. I hope that I'm wrong but if they do, we'll see if they're banned from any public places.

That being said I was never a GaGa fan but found her story kind of interesting. Now I'm sick of her and she's behaving just like all of the other self entitled celebrities.

  27. I think she's overworked and just had a little too much fun in unwinding. Anyway, she's built up this image and certainly couldn't show up in public not looking outrageous. It would ruin her! (I'm kidding - sort of). Meh - so what? I'm still a fan.

  28. We used to throw our jerseys on over our bikinis and go to Marlin's games straight from the beach all the time. Granted, it wasn't underwear, but the coverage is equivalent. Of course with thousands of empty seats, I don't think Marlins management can afford to toss fans. :)
