Kyron Horman's Father Files For Divorce

There is definitely something going on up in Oregon. Kyron Horman's father has filed for divorce from Kyron's step mom, filed a restraining order against her and taken their 18 month old daughter out of the house. Kyron is the 7 year old boy who was last seen by his stepmother, Terri Moulton Horman.

Kyron's mom who is remarried, also released a statement with her husband that said they were not going to be making any more public statements. I don't know about you, but something happened in that house since last Friday. On Friday, Kyron's dad still was telling the media that he believed Terri was committed to finding Kyron. Now, this? Something happened over the weekend.

  1. That just made my stomach turn sour. If she hurt that little boy, well, I just pray she didn't. What would ever, ever possess someone to hurt a little child? I know it happens all the time, but it is so disgusting.

  2. Sounds like she admitted to something or got caught up in her lies since what she said and her cell phone records never matched up. On top of no one actually saw Kyron at the shcool the day she said he disappered.

I have a feeling an arrest and the body will be found soon. Sadly I think she either killed him accidentaly or in a fit of rage. Eyes for Lies blog pegged her pretty early on for her weird behavior. And sensed deception in her interviews.

  3. I work with a youth group that specializes in at risk kids and orphans. You would not believe some of the horror stories out there. Some people don't deserve to be parents.

  4. what is up with people? a 5yo girl from my howmtown had her throat slit by her stepdad for "acting out" on summer vacation in WA state. granted,he was bipolar, but dammmmmn, he decapitated her practically in front of her 9yo sister.

  5. The whole story makes me so sad. He seems like such a sweet, adorable child. Why and how could someone do anything bad to him? Poor thing.

And I found it surprising from the get-go that she claimed he disappeared from school, which I would think from a post Columbine and 9/11 standpoint is one of the hardest places to vanish.

  6. @timebob: Isn't that picture (the last one of him in his CSI t-shirt) from the school that day, in front of his project??

I have had a very bad feeling about this since Day 1.

  7. My prayer for when I die is that God sends me back to slay the living FUCK out of all sick bastards in this world who prey on and harm those smaller than them. Truly. I would love to go commando on everybody who is cruel and vicious and just WHALE on their asses.

Starting with the child molesters and abusers.

  8. I agree that something about her just has not seemed right from the first day. One could drive a truck through the gaps in her story.

I hope that the truth comes out. Clearly that or something like it had to have come to light over the weekend, but no one is saying anything.

Anyone found guilty of murdering a child should automatically get the death penalty. Seriously, there is nothing lower or colder and just no way to justify that.

  9. @Jax, i read that story and i cried and cried. you used to live in Shelton? i am a washington girl :)

as far as this case goes, local news is reporting that she has taken at least 2 lie detector tests, and either failed them both or did so poorly the police now consider her a person of interest. this whole case is just so sad :(

  10. no, they were from BC.

  11. So, so sad. I dont like the death penalty at all, but I think she needs to be locked away for good, if it turns out she had a part in it.

  12. I didn't realize no one else had seen Kyron at school that day.

@Jax, that story--slitting her throat in FRONT of her sister--literally almost made me vomit. How how how could that sister EVER recover??

This is right up there with Jon Benet Ramsey, who I still believe was killed by a family member, probably her brother.

  13. gotcha, i must have read it wrong. i was to traumatized by the story i guess. it was truly one of the most horrific things i had ever read about :( i wish our children could be more safe in this world

  14. This makes me ill. I agree that something terrible must have went down over the weekend for the dad to up and leave his wife and take their kid with him. This woman looks too old to have an 18 month old child.

I think she probably thought the little boy was taking too much time and money away from her and the 18 month old. With him out of the way, her and her daughter could have their husband/father all to themselves.

I actually know a woman that was so jealous and resentful of her husbands daughters that she actually told him he had to choose between her and them. She honestly thought he was going to choose her and was really surprised when he divorced her.

  15. @selenakyle---me too.

  16. Selenakyle, I back you on that one. Look, if there was child support involved, Step-parents are psycho over that. In other words, their own child deserves the money, not the ex's child. Really sad.

  17. oh yeah. something's definitely getting ready to break here. she did it and he now knows it.

if i were him, i'd have to take out a restraining order on myself to keep from killing this bitch.

  18. The most important question is: Where's the boy?. The father knows something and the restraining order is proof of that.

    ReplyDelete
  19. i don't think he necessarily knows. i think something she's said has proven to be a lie, and the lies are piling up. he couldn't ignore it anymore or explain it away.

  20. Sadly, I called this early on as well. I'm in Oregon and something about this particular story is on the local news everynight.

Selenakyle, I'll ride shotgun and help out! Child and animal abusers really send me into a rage.

As for motive, I think Goodgrief got it right in their 2nd comment paragraph: "
I think she probably thought the little boy was taking too much time and money away from her and the 18 month old. With him out of the way, her and her daughter could have their husband/father all to themselves."

  21. @bflogurl I think that picture was not confirmed from the day he disappered. She claimed it was but then reports floated that it might of been from a day earlier. The main issue is that her cell phone records had her far from the school when she said she dropped him off.

  22. That is sad, I thought it was confirmed the boy was seen at the school with the stepmom but now it's said nobody saw him? I assumed he ducked out of school after she said goodbye in the hallway and got into trouble that way. Sad either way, but even sadder when it's someone who is supposed to love and protect you.

You could see part of an adult in a flannel shirt and a child in the background of the science fair photo, if they figured out who was wearing the shirt and when he was at the fair then they'd know if she lied about when the photo was taken. Also, the digital camera imbeds that info in the photo file, she might not know that.

  23. This makes me sick. I will ride in the back, SelenaKyle and Lisa. This makes me sick. And I agree, I would've totally needed a restraining order on myself.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I with you, @selenakyle!!
How come none of his teachers have spoken out to provide more detail?? I'm sure the stepmom is guilty but just thought that was kind of weird since they are technically accountable for the kids.

Maybe the family bought the story til a certain point until she started unraveling like Scott Peterson.

  25. We can only hope that there is a special place in Hell for this bitch and ALL the adults who hurt kids!

Is there any room in the back seat? Hell, bungy-cord me to the roof and let's kick some ass!!

  26. This enrages me. I am a stepmom. My husband and I raised my stepson from the time he was young. He had schizoaffective disorder, was addicted to heroin, burned down a house, stole and wrecked our car, and many other things, but I never ONCE laid a hand on him. There is *nothing* that little boy could have done to, in any way, to bring on what happened to him.
