Kiwis Celebrate Just A little
To say the New Zealand soccer team was a little happy to score a game tying goal with about 20 seconds left in second half injury time in their opening game against Slovakia would be like saying Lindsay Lohan would be a little happy if the judge let Lindsay take off her SCRAM bracelet and get drunk. Oh, and just like the New Zealander who scored the goal, Lindsay would probably take her shirt off and go running through a stadium too.

ReplyDeleteEveryone here in New Zealand are so excited! The All Whites haven't been to a World Cup in 28 years, so to tie their first game is a huge deal. Up next Italy!

Btw, some aussie newspaper is trying to cash in on our success, they had a headline 'Australasia 1 - Slovakia 1'. Apparently they're a little upset about losing their first game.
