Joran Van Der Sloot Retracts Confession
Days after Joran van der Sloot's mom told a newspaper that if Joran killed Stephany Flores Ramirez he would have to pay the price and she would not be visiting him in jail, Joran gave an interview to a Dutch newspaper where he said that he had retracted his confession.
"I was very scared and confused during the interrogations and wanted to get away," the paper quoted him as saying. "In my blind panic, I signed everything, but didn't even know what it said."
He said that during the trial the real story will come out. Uh huh. Meanwhile Stephany's dad says that his daughter put up a fight and that Joran's DNA was found beneath her fingernails.
Joran also said in the interview that rats end up in his jail cell every night by climbing through his toilet. Well, I hope they gnaw at his face while they are up there. I am just waiting for the Colombian hit man in the cell next to him to kill Joran when they fight over the television which they share.
Me too Enty, I hope a legion of rats devour him in his sleep but not before he gets gang raped by a bunch of deviant criminals. Sorry I just get so angry when I think of how this animal got away with murder the first time around and is trying to do it again.
ReplyDeleteTruly, no prison mistreatment is bad enough for this guy. He's a psychopath, and deserves everything coming to him.
ReplyDeleteHis own mother thinks he's a psychopath. Trial?! So now some poor country's going to have spend $$ to try this prick? GRR.

ReplyDeleteHe has been alive way too long now. I thought in Peru, he would last about a week if that.
ReplyDeletetoo little too late,Momma! everyone involved has blood on their hands from Natalee.
ReplyDeleteI honestly think he just enjoys playing cat and mouse with the media and authorities.
ReplyDeleteI think he thinks in his sociopathic head he can lie his way out of it like he did in 2005.
In some way I think the media should turn their backs on him. The more media attention he gets the more he gets off on being headline news again.
If the parents knew about him being a psycho why did they let him roam on his own? Why did they not have him committed?
ReplyDeleteWay to go Mom! It takes a liar to create a liar.
ReplyDeletewhat? he has television privileges? he should be treated like the animal that he is.
ReplyDelete@Slyvia they said they couldn't control him. And Anita van der Sloot claims he was supposed to go to a mental hospital but ran away to Peru 2 days before he was set to leave.
ReplyDeletethis whole thing just makes me sick. I hope those poor relatives get the truth from him at some, point, but i doubt it. I asked about this earlier too, but I will try again - what about his friends, that supposedly helped out?
ReplyDeleteIt strikes me as desperate, his plea about the rats. He is still trying to get sympathy, to manipulate people's perceptions of him. Not one ounce of remorse for the death of the girl, and his mother - I think murderers are, to a large extent, made. Sure, maybe he has a chemical imbalance that makes him susceptible, but that family knew long before 2010 that he was sick. They had a duty to protect him - and therefore the world - from him. Instead, they did nothing.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I call BS on the claim that he was scheduled to go for treatment.
I think the dad helped him cover up the Holloway murder. He definitely is a sociopath
ReplyDeletehis mama says she thinks he might have killed this girl but she doesn't believe he killed holloway.
ReplyDeletewow, that's quite a coincidence, isn't it, mom?
what are the odds of 2 women being dead 5 years apart to the DAY who were last seen in the company of your son? get fucking real.
I think he broke down and confessed in Aruba and then did the same thing but the police covered up the confession. Remember the Aruban police asked Beth about Natalee having seizures the first time they met? There were lots of confession/retraction rumors. He also said in an interview once that the truth about Natalee would one day come out.
ReplyDeleteI'm so loving the story about the rats. Please provide more stories like this until he is convicted (I HOPE!). It should still be an open/shut case w/ the DNA...right???? :(
i think it's open and shut even without DNA. nobody else went into or out of that room---they have cameras showing him leaving and nobody else. he told the desk clerk not to bother his girl. bloody clothes in knapsack, her money and credit cards in his possession.
ReplyDeletecome on. it's a grand slam dunk.
Everyone is being played by him. Confess and retract, promise where the body is, feel sorry him, etc. He is a sociopathic murderer and by definition isn't playing by the rules. Why would anyone trust this guy?
ReplyDeleteBad news for Mama van der Sloot. Psychopaths are incurable. They cannot be helped. They can only be imprisoned. Joran isn't "mentally ill." Joran has no conscience.
ReplyDeleteSomebody just needs to kill him already. I was hoping some one in prison would habe taken care of him by now. He pulled the confess and retract crap back in 2005. I hope Peru is smarter than Aruba and nails his ass to the wall. Don't let him off so he can murder another young woman. He already has 2 that we know of. It could be more.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone looked into him where other murdered women have turned up?
ReplyDeleteI still wonder if he was going to rape her, found out Stephany had her period and Joran flipped out.
there's now two women who've died in his company and the only thing he cares about is rats in his toilet? let's talk about what's about to be up your ass in the meantime!
ReplyDeletethis may sound dumb, but aren't there supposed to be lawyers present at confessions? if the answer is no, why wouldn't the police make sure there is one present for this guy, to make it harder for him to retract his story?
from what i heard the original police chief in the Aruba case was his GODFATHER.....umm conflict of interest much. hey at least they're providing him with toilet paper - betcha the boys on the upper floors would LOVE to hear that.
ReplyDeleteMs. Leigh, If I recall correctly from what I read there was not only a lawyer present (his court appointed lawyer), but also an official from the Dutch embassy there. So his being strong-armed into a confession is BS.
ReplyDeleteThe fact he is trying to back pedal again is just more of his normal behavior. He is truly a danger to society and deserves to be exactly where he is right now.
I don't want a Columbian hit man to go after him. I want him to be tortured in jail, slowly and painfully, just like he did to those girls. I want him to be so terrified he'll beg the Columbian hit man to put him out of his mercy.
ReplyDeleteAnd BTW, are these two the only two he's ever killed? I doubt it.
Coerced the confession?
ReplyDeleteUh huh...and I believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy too.
I'm honestly not a violent person, however given the nature of his "alleged" crimes, I personally vote for him being center stage at a reenactment of the Inquisition.
Surely then he'd learn the meaning of the phrase "coerced confession"
