F**k You BP vs Sandra Bullock & Scarlett J Kissing
In case you didn't watch the MTV Movie Awards last night what you missed were about 20 f bombs which started dropping right from the outset and also Sandra Bullock kissing Scarlett J.
@Terri - My husband just said the same thing to me. He said it like as if I were in charge of them or something. :)
I didn't get the way they played the whole Scarlett being on stage/silent and then the kiss. Seemed weird. I was also surprised Sandra said as much as she did on stage.....still love her though.
There were more than 20 f-bombs. Heck, there were probably 20 just in the speech by the guy for the Twilight movie at the end of the show. And I wish I knew why someone thinks saying F this, F that, comes off as cool.
that show was f--king funny last night, but you're right..no celeb other Aziz said much about the oil spill. you gotta wonder where the celebs are, where's the telethon?
I didn't watch due to my disdain for pretty much everything MTV-related, but I watched the clip of Sandra and I gotta say, looking that hot truly is the best revenge. Love her, and she deserves every single moment of the adoration she's been getting lately.
I'm SO with you, Jax. The mess this oil spill has caused and the damage from it for DECADES to come demands international help and support. We all know BP doesn't give a shit.
I want everyone to visit Ifitwasmyhome.com, center the oil disaster graphic over a map of your hometown and take in just how catastrophic this thing is. I didn't really put it in perspective until looking at this site. Holy shit.
@Robert - Thanks for sharing that. I just facebook/tweeted it to all my friends. That is very scary. I've been wondering what places to donate money too, also so that gave me a couple of links. Poor animals. :(
I can't even think about BP without wanting to cry or smack something. That's why I loved when Azziz gave them a little smack down. There were so many 'F' bombs that the viewers would have been totally desensitized 5 minutes into the show, so the incessant bleeps were really unnecessary.
I've been a defender of 'Twilight', but last night I think it finally jumped the shark for me. They did not deserve a single one of those awards. Then again, this is the MTV Movie awards. MTV can't even do the music awards right, so what was I expecting.
I grew up in Texas and spent many, many summers in the Gulf. It really has been kinda painful to see all this. Fuck BP, Halliburton, and Transocean. Fuck 'em all.
thanks robert, just sent that link to everyone i know. wow, having a visual like that for my state sort of slaps reality in my face. how sad for everyone in the gulf :(
Yeah, it seems really abstract when you hear about it or see it on the news, but the familiar frame of reference sheds a whole new light on it. The worst part for me is seeing the animals paying the price for this gigantic fuckup, to say nothing of the hardworkin' American folks whose lives are devestated, possibly for generations.
I live near the Gulf Coast. I haven't heard of one celeb trying to help...except James Cameron and Pamela Anderson.
ReplyDeleteThats sad Terri....guess they all used up thier "caring celebrity" points earlier...
ReplyDeleteBoo - can't watch these in Canada apparently :(

The mtv movie awards were a colossal waste of time for those over the age of 13.
