Britney Sexually Harasses Bodyguard - What Do You Think?

The Sun is reporting that one of Britney Spears' bodyguards, Fernando Flores, quit his job because Britney sexually harassed him. After reading the article, I am not so sure. All of the quotes come from one of Fernando's friends and all he says is that Fernando is thinking about filing a lawsuit. Now, the interesting thing I was thinking about while reading the article is that it repeats the claims that have been made before that Britney rarely wears clothes when she is home and is always walking around naked. Fernando says this is sexual harassment and also that Britney came on to him numerous times.

If this was a male boss walking around female employees naked all the time and coming on to them we would think it is for sure sexual harassment. Somehow because it is a woman doing it to men it does not seem as harmful, but it really is. This is a good paying job. If you say something you could be fired and lose your job. That is no different if it were a male boss.

Plus, apparently Britney's dad is making sure these bodyguards check Britney for a bra and panties before they step out of the house. The "source" says that some guys had no problem checking but for others it made them uncomfortable.

  1. Oh Britney Britney Britney. I fundamentally think Britney's a lonely girl. Not saying this is necessarily true, but it could be.

  2. My main concern is, please please tell me this is an old picture and that Britney is not still schlumping around in short cutoffs and those little boots schlurping Frapps.

It's been said for YEARS that the girl walks around only in the nude at home.

  4. I think anyone who takes a job with Britney should know what they are getting into. It's like you'd be surprised to see her walking around naked. Oh, and checking for panties/bra isn't the worse thing I've ever heard employee's having to do.

  5. I suppose it is possible. I just don't know any straight guys that would have a problem with this.

  6. I think this guy's just out for money, but I think he could have made a lot more sticking with Brit a while longer and then writing a tell-all about her naked mcCrazy ways.

  7. hm, you bring up an interesting point. However, if the bodyguards are told at the beginning of the job that they will be doing panty checks then they can't sue her for sexual harassment. Wow! It is such gray area, I don't know which way to think. Here's another example:

When nurses go to work, no one specifically says "some patients, when old, or under the influence of medicines, may make advances or sexual remarks to you." But when (if) it happens, is the nurse then within her rights to sue the hospital? No, she is required to handle the situation as she feels comfortable and/or report it to her charge nurse or supervisor.

Should this be what the body guards do? But technically, since it is Brit's money that is paying them, she's the boss?!

I just think it's sad that a woman of her age has to be told to wear underwear when she leaves the house.

I can believe Fernando. I have heard for years that she's nude at home all the time, and since she still thinks she's the cutest thing in shoe leather, it's not surprising that she would come on to an employee. She's on a pretty short leash, she's probably getting horny.

  9. I don't see anything wrong with walking around naked when you're at home. ALONE. If you have staff around, you may wanna throw on a robe.

  10. yes, because ANY straight male would LOVE to be terrorized sexually by a childlike, mentally ill naked chick who has to have her Dad make all her decisions at almost 30yo.

    HAWT.

  11. Definitely sexual harassment. They should've hired a pca or something to deal with her in her house. That's not a reasonable part of a bodyguard's job.

  12. and i'm SURE there HAS to be a female assistant who can do a panty raid before they go out the door.

  13. This is part of her illness. In my opinion she should have a female assistant/bodyguard/caregiver present.

  14. it also would be clearer to most people that it is sexual harassment if Brit were, say, 50, or 60, or 70 and walking around nekkid and coming on to her employees -- who do, yes, risk losing their jobs if they object. She might not be a spring chick anymore but she's still hot enough that it's even a question whether it's harassment. the answer is yes

  15. i think the dude is lying.

  16. captiva beat me to it - she is mentally ill and should be treated as such.

  17. I am getting the 'out for money' vibe from this story.

I bet he is looking for a quick pay off so this won't go further, true or not.

Remember when Micheal Jackson died, a lot of those bogus lawsuits came out into the open. And they said it was just easier to pay them off than spend all of their time in court?

  18. i bet she ends up like elizabeth taylor, just some old crazy dingbat... by the time shes 30

  19. It is sexual harassment, just because she is a "doable woman" does not means that someone isn't uncomfortable. But I guess the guy already knew what were the job duties and if so...does it count to file a lawsuit?

  20. However, it sounds like this guy got in trouble by Brits dad because the paps got a crotch shot of her w/o panties. I don't know if he was fired for it or not. He does sound a bit disgruntled.

Not to say he still doesn't have a case. Harassment is still harassment.

  21. I don't believe it. I think the guy's just trying to extort some quick bucks. If there really were a problem her father or her "boyfriend" would have already dealt with it in one of the sensible ways mentioned above.

  22. I'd say it's harassment unless he was told during his job interview or at some other point before he accepted this job about the underwear checks and the nudity. If he was made aware of all that before employment, it's a lot less clear cut and you'd have a very hard time getting a jury to find in your favor. As far as coming on to the bodyguard, Britney's formative years were spent being encouraged by ALL her authority figures to aggressively flaunt her sexuality. Given her probable mental illness and her certain low IQ, it's not surprising that she doesn't know who to turn off the "I'm a sex kitten" mind set.

  23. a lot of things seem to count as sexual harassment that really aren't. if she tried to pressure him into sex and his job depended on it, then it qualifies. if it's just that he was horrified at her running around nekkid, it does not.

and if daddy wants to head off potential problems, he should have her female assistant be the one responsible for making sure her cooter is covered---not men.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Oops, that should have been "doesn't know how to turn off".

    ReplyDelete
  25. I would agree that it's sexual harassment if she were mentally competent, but she isn't, so I don't.

  26. "[H]e could have made a lot more sticking with Brit a while longer and then writing a tell-all about her naked mcCrazy ways."

I'm sure all her employees, as with most celebrities, sign a confidentiality agreement before they are employed. So a sexual harassment case was probably the only way Fernando could get a payday from working for her.

  27. This woman (she's nearly 30, for gosh sakes) is a multiple substance abuser. She has a history of persuading her staff to help her circumvent her guardians' restrictions on spending and drugging.

Fernando probably refused to "help" her, so she made him uncomfortable by dancing around naked, made him chase her around to make sure she had undies on, then got in the car, waited until his back was turned, removed the panties and made sure the papps saw when she got out. I hope he gets a huge settlement so that her handlers have to explain to the court where all that money went.

  28. I think it's sexual harassment and watching her naked skanky ass and checking her underwear situation is an unreasonable job description for a bodyguard.

If she is mentally ill, then she needs a female nurse, home healthcare worker, or psychiatric attendant taking care of her.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Um, yah...I def. think they need to hire a female bra/panty checker and leave the men to do the bodyguarding.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I agree with Cheryl, but I also think this guy wants money. Is he entitled to it? Maybe.

By the way Fernando said that Britney came on to him numerous times.

That's where the sexual harassment plays into part. Bad enough she's naked, and they have to check for underwear which if they knew about it in the beginning and still took the job is not.

Coming on to the help is sexual harassment if they tell you they're offended and want you stop.

  31. This may not be for everyone, but it's worth a think by the open minded folks. Check out website called Vigilant Citizen and the articles about Monarch programming by the music industry. The see the video of her interview with Diane Sawyer, you can see Britney's mind snap at one point, it's very sad. She talks to people who arent' there!

    ReplyDelete
  32. she's definitely mentally ill. and i totally agree there should be female attendants/bodyguards on hand, but i think it's very, very possible that brit won't tolerate other women around.
i'm pretty sure the job description was thorough, but with a mentally ill person, you can't predict everything. walking around naked--maybe not so much. grabbing his crotch? possibly.
her whole situation has been mishandled from the beginning, and i've said from the get-go that she probably has more the bi-polar going on, and the tour was too soon.
wrong person, wrong job, i say he's after the bucks.

  33. Lisa, I love that website. I don't know that the guy who writes it isn't batshit crazy, but it's an interesting read for sure!

  34. If your boss is walking around naked, that is probably considered sexual harassment. Poor girl. She's got an illness or disorder. How much would it suck to have your dad order a panty check before you could leave the house? What is she, 26? That's so sad.

  35. Britney has been driven insane by her life. She's no Mensa candidate, and her coping mechanism finally overloaded and shorted out. I'll bet that along with the nudity, there's a whole lot of behaviour going on in that house that's so off the wall it's really disturbing.

    ReplyDelete
  36. For some reason, I can't imagine Daddy Spears not letting future employees not know what they might be in for. I walks around my home naked all the time myself, though of course if other people were there I would cover myself up.

But if Brit did it (and she is known to have a mental condition), unless she THREW herself at the guy and demanded he service her, I can't see how a harrassment charge would stick. Sounds like he is just looking for some cash, or at the very least to sell his story to the papers. None of this is shocking to me though.

And BTW, walking around naked in your own home is not a crime.....yet.

  37. I actually think theres an element of truth to this, she was literally always bra-less and of cors that notorious crotch picture. As she does have a mental illness and clearly is under survelance 24/7 by a network of doctors, pychiatrists, handlers etc maybe in the past she felt 'being naked' as a way of freeing herself, you know removing the constraints of her pressured lifestyle, two figers up at the world so to speak. Just a thought!
