Awww I kinda enjoyed the glorious return of Paula to "Idol." It seems like there's real love and affection between her and Simon, which was sweet to see.

ReplyDeleteI like how they handled the whole Paula Abdul thing last night. Seeing her reminded me of what a poor substitute Kara is for her. It was also brave of producers to do. It would have been much easier to just ignore Paula and not have her on the show. I also loved later - after the speech - when Paula told Simon that they were equals even though he saw it as a mentor-mentee relationship. Go Paula!

ReplyDeleteOh hey Carrie Underwood won American Idol, it's what started her career, she had every right to be there last night -- Taylor Swift and her people, I might remind you, after the Grammy matchup with Stevie Nicks fiasco, snubbed their noses at lowly things like actual singing talent and competitions, and American Idol in particular. So feh. I can't get worked up about Carrie Underwood being there, whether she was an attention hog last night I wouldn't know.

ReplyDeleteSo I looked it up. Seems she dated Josh briefly before she met and "fell in love" with Tom. After breaking up with Chris, but before Tom. The time-line for him to be the father seems correct. (Even though I honestly think the kid is Tom's)

There is a widely-discussed theory that Suri is Josh's with Kate. She got knocked up and Tom swooped in with his contract and offer. Conspiracy theorists use the fact that Suri seems older than her purported age and the fact that no one saw her for quite some time after her birth as means of support.

Hey Tenley, I never questioned why Underwears was at Idol last night (read my post!), I know damn well she won Idol, nor am I dissing her talent. I was referring to my dislike of her and why. Namely that she's a grade-A arrogant, attention whoring CUNT!
