Random Photos Part Five
The Church - Atlanta
Still don't like Ashley Judd.
Those kooky celebrities and their political humor. So, do you think Anna Kendrick or Rosario Dawson know who Herbert Hoover is? He was in a television theme song. So maybe.
Ashley Olsen looks pretty good here.
Ditto for Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer.
Not so much for Asslee and Pete.
Fran Drescher is getting her own talk show. I think she will do well.
Jerry O'Connell and Rebecca Romijn get best dressed at The Kentucky Derby.
Although, Larry and Dannielynn are right there too.
Bode Miller makes a bet.
Brandon Davis and his mom. She must be so proud.
Of course whenever a Davis is there, an Avril is sure to follow. Or Advil, or coke. Not Mrs. Davis of course. Just Brandon or Jason.
Beyonce in her new video.
It always boggles my mind how much Greasy Bear looks like Elvis Presley in his fat Vegas days.
ReplyDeleteGood to see Fran Drescher.
ReplyDelete"The Nanny" is one of my favourite sitcoms.
I wouldn't be so quick to assume Anna Kendrick and Rosario Dawson don't know who Herbert Hoover is. They both seem like smart, grounded ladies. Never heard any crazy or bad gossip about either one.
ReplyDeleteAshlee and Pete are burning my eyes!
ReplyDelete--Brandon Davis looks like the a*hole he is, the mom looks like she had a lobotomy.
as much as it pains me to say it, Asslee looks way cute in that outfit.
ReplyDeleteOh that pillow is hilarious!!! Too bad I don't make millions and then maybe I would be able to laugh about it.
Duh, he's the guy the Hoover Dam was named after! :) The building of that dam fascinates me.
ReplyDeleteI'm still sad that Judd is an "ASSlee" too. I love her movies. At least Ashley Olsen doesn't require the letter change.
"Those Were the Days!!!" Eh, Enty? ;)
ReplyDeletePete Wentz's calves have disappeared against the greenscreen carpet...hahaha!
Kendrick and Dawson may have never seen "All in the Family" to have heard that theme song. I was talking to a 22-year-old this weekend who I consider fairly bright, and she had never heard of or seen "Hogan's Heroes". I weep for the future. They've seen every episode of "The Hills" and "Jersey Shores" and CRAP like that, but shows like "I Love Lucy", "All in the Family", "The Dick Van Dyke Show", and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" not a single minute!!
ReplyDeleteOn a positive note, Rebecca Romijn looks amazing. And it's nice to see a full-grown, man-sized man like O'Connell. Way to go!
Oh, and I'm not saying "Hogan's Heroes" was great tv, but I couldn't believe she didn't have ANY knowledge of the show at all.
ReplyDeleteRJ - the other day I met a 26-year-old who had never heard of Sade. I couldn't believe it.
ReplyDeleteMan, around my office, we STILL quote Hogan's Heroes. "I know NOTHING!"
Seriously Enty? Rebecca Romijn looks like she's going to a nightclub there. Not appropriate for the Kentucky Derby.
ReplyDeleteMy secret shame is that I find Brandon Davis attractive. Physically. Personality is hideous, I know. I'm sorry.
Ashlee and Pete look ridiculous. Oh Pete, what happened to you? Oh right. She did.
ReplyDeleteHate the Kentucky Derby. Might as well be a rodeo or circus to me.
Really RQ? I never thought that ppl might think that about the Derby. Those horses live more Posh than me. Even after their racing days are over. I love everything about it. Friends of mine live there and go every year and it just looks so fun and dressy and Southern and sweet and I want a mint julep and my big ole hat. :)
ReplyDeleteDannielynn looks sweet and happy. Good for her! Adorable, too. Easy to see her who mom was. Hope her life takes a safer and happier path.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a lovely posh event where the high and mighty go to watch horses whipped across the finish line and the horses are never slaughtered once they're deemed useless. Please.
ReplyDeleteBeyonce looks good. I can't help but like her.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about Anna Kendrick, but Rosario Dawson founded Voto Latino. She's very politically active, and I don't doubt she knows who Herbert Hoover was.
ReplyDeleteI love the Church. It's good to see them in the pix.
ReplyDeleteI don't know everything that goes on, all I am saying is that I never thought of it like a bullfight. The horse barns that I have been in are freakin' awesome. And I don't see why they would slaughter horses? I mean, those would be some freakin' expensive ass horseburgers. The ones that I know about charge more than my lifesavings to sperminate other horses or to get sperminated when they are done racing.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's bad. Let me know if you want further details. Once they're injured or no longer contenders, it's cheaper to kill them then maintain them. Very few are ever "put out to pasture". Their lives are usually nasty, brutish and short.
ReplyDeleteHm, I get it, don't get me wrong. But then I think of all the good people in the horse industry and what a great part of the economy it is for some parts of the country. Sure it isn't Wal-Mart jobs, but it is the survival-hood of lots and lots of people. Also, I get that some horses are slaughtered, but it is illegal in the US to slaughter horses for human consumption (that would be the young ones). There are good and bad people everywhere, and the horse people I know don't just throw old horses away. Like I said I don't know everything about it, and I can see someone making the argument that ANY sport using animals is cruelty, but I think the blame should be pointed at a select few and not the whole industry. I guess we will agree to disagree.
ReplyDeleteThe problem with horseracing is that racehorses suffer horrific injuries to their legs and joints.
ReplyDeleteAnd everybody knows what happens to horses like that.
Even if their injuries are not life threatening, the fact that they are no longer able to race and therefore profitable, means that they are put down.
It's the same with the greyhounds used in dogracing.
They are only able to race until they are about 3.5 years old, when they burn out.
Some are dumped in kennels, many (if not most) are killed by their owners or someone who takes care of it for a fee.
Not too long ago a newspaper here (England) ran an undercover investigation and the journalists recorded the killings.
These animals are not kept as pets. People who own horses, dogs or other animals for profit, don't want them when they are no longer making money.
Mrs Davis has Audrina's ceiling eyes.
ReplyDeleteBeyonce looks like Amy Winehouse in that picture. (If Amy Winehouse gained 100 pounds)
Fran Drescher -- awesome. She puts every other person to bed in this photo set quite easily. I hope the talk show gossip is for real.
ReplyDeletei guess i will have more thing to feed my insomnia tonight. wondering what happens to the beautiful horses in the races. i have this horrible disease of the brain that makes me want to believe everything is happily ever after
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, and Beyonce looks totally hot
ReplyDeleteMy father is a third generation horse trainer, so I can vouch that slaughter does happen but it is NOT the entire industry. My parents are both huge animal lovers and mom is a big advocate for all animal rights groups ('cept PETA). this us the same thing as owning any kind of animal. You have shitty owners and you have owners who spoil the horses rotten. Oh and usually Derby horses aren't the ones that get sent off to the glue factory....if that makes anyone feel slightly better.
ReplyDeleteBeyonce looks like a well fed Amy Winehouse.
