No Kellan Lutz Or Ashley Greene In Breaking Dawn?

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that almost all of the Twilight cast members have signed new contracts for Breaking Dawn. Some holdouts are Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene who are said to want monster raises before they will consider making the next installment. Umm, honestly guys, people don't care about you. Oh sure, fans would like you to be in the next movie, but as long as the big three are in it, no one will notice if you are there or not. Hello Rachelle Lefevre. Who? Exactly.

I say this with love in my heart and bacon in my stomach, but Kellan and Ashley you better enjoy this fame and glory now because it isn't going to last much beyond the next two movies. It is better to accept the 10 fold increase in salary and ride on for a little longer then to push your luck and say bye bye. Oh and to have to call yourself the original Cullen kids when you are sharing booth space at some fan convention 20 years from now as you make your living selling autographs and taking photos with fans dressed as vampires.

  1. Bravo Enty so true! I can't wait until I see Kristen McMiserables face on a poster for a Twilight convention in 2020.

    And happy you are back!

  2. I just can't muster up the emotion to care about anything remotely Twilight-related. I'm saturated.

  3. Haha Enty. So very true. There are thousands of other actors-in-waiting who will jump at the chance to replace you.

    Yes...Who? Exactly.

  4. I have yet to see a Twilight film. I don't think I ever will.

  5. I happen to love the movie, and both Ashley and Kellan were awesome in the baseball scenes. I happen to love the character Ashley plays, but we have to be real. There are so many ways to move these characters in and out, that they can easily be replaced and the Triplets will steal the thunder, as always.

  6. I don't even know who they are. I've heard of the guy on this site, but I couldn't pick him out of a lineup.

  7. That's right, nobody cares...between the wolf boy and the glowing vampire those teens have enough.

  8. Yeah. I'm so not into Twilight - the books or the films. But, I know it's a cash cow and the series has legions fans. So, these two should just be happy that they're wanted back. Even I know RP and KS are the stars of the show.

  10. Something about Ashley Green screams desperate. I actually read the books and the movies are a guilty pleasure, but even I don't care. I wouldn't write off Kristen Stewart to the conventions in 2020, though. I think she'll be around (see Speak, The Cake Eaters, The Runaways..)

  14. I just saw half an hour of the first Twilight movie, curious as to the appeal.

All I can say is, I can see why folks caught on to Robert Pattinson. He's sultry. He brings out the cougar in me!

But Kristen Stewart? WTF? Cardboard is better at acting than she is! Is she ever gonna stop twitching or looking like she's constipated??? I thought that was just her on the red carpet!

  15. You are so right. This is such a common move made by C plus B minus young actors, so often egged on by greedy and overreaching managers/agents. Don't you bet the same managers/agents will put them up for major "real" acting roles in A list movies but say to the casting directors, "They don't read for parts; they may take a meeting with the director, but we don't audition; we only entertain offers."

That won't fly with any A-list director, boys and girls. Your playing a teen vampire may not help him/her automatically picture you in a great dramatic (or even comedic) role. Maybe that ploy will work if you go straight to television while your recognition factor is still hot.

Kids, we've seen it before time and time again. It's your fifteen minutes - you can make it last or screw it up by being delusional about how special and important you are. You aren't either. You are flavor of the month at the moment, at best. If you want a real, long lasting career, live in the real world, and make smart choices.

  16. Who is Rachelle Lefevre?
Is Kellan one of the vampires?
Is Ashley the vampire with the blunt bob?

  18. So, this is the dude people in here say is the main junior gheigh that features in most of those mind bending blind items I don't even try to read any more?

  19. I want these movies to be over and then Rob, Kristen, and Taylor can go away forever!!! Esp that Kristen. She is such a sour puss. Poor Taylor L. He looks mildly mentally retarded (and I'm not using that word insultingly, he really has a Down Syndrome look about him). So, I just can't see him in a sexual way, even with those amazing abs.

  23. This is all really funny and really sad at the same time. People never learn. These young actors getting filled with hot air by their agents and managers (who go on with their careers when the whole thing deflates around them) need a history lesson.

  24. I agree, Enty! They are NUTS if they don't do it. Why wouldn't they??? I don't recall ever hearing that the Harry Potter kids weren't going to sign on for all the films?

Honestly, the only people that really even matter in the film are Kristen/Robert, at this point but they are CRAZY to not finish what they started.
