As I trudged through what seemed like 4 hours of Jesse James last night on Nightline, I kept asking myself why exactly is he going on television and doing this? I came to the conclusion that he is doing it because he loves fame and attention and making money off his fame and he was doing it for himself and for his future earning prospects.
He says in the interview that he loves Sandra Bullock and that he would love to get back together with her. He probably would, but again, I think for his own selfish purposes. Do you think Sandra wanted him on Nightline and Good Morning America and everywhere else his interview has been teased? It has been talked about for a week. A good solid week that Sandra has had to relive all the things that happened to her and another week where all her marriage drama played to a world wide audience.
I think that if he really did love her that he would have stayed quiet and stayed silent and let her start to live her life and to move on and forward. That can't happen as long as the mistresses keep coming out and her soon to be ex husband keeps going on national television explaining why he is such a bad guy and oh, by the way, someone please sign me up for a reality show and come spend your money with me.
Sandy definitely was good for business. The nazi shit: Not so much.
ReplyDeleteI like this blogger's take on it --
ReplyDeletehttp://www.eyesforlies.blogspot.com/
Why the hell did ABC feel the need to give this douchebag airtime, anyway? He opens his mouth and more and more "poor me" garbage tumbles out... who the hell cares what he has to say? Does he honestly expect sympathy when the only person to blame for his shit is himself?
ReplyDeleteI hate to say this but his mea culpa tour leads me to think that this is laying groundwork for an eventual reconcilation with SB, which I think for SB is more about continuing to raise his kids whom she loved as her own. Because honestly how can she really trust him after the manner in which he betrayed her publicly.
ReplyDeleteHe made his choice (whores over good wife/stepmom), now STFU and live with it.
ReplyDeletehellokitty---I suggested eyesforlies comment on the JJ interview last week!!!---what does s/he say about it? Can you link the actual post...b/c it's not on the site. Dunno why.
ReplyDeleteI'm not feeling the love for him. I get really tired of people who use the "Oh, I had a bad childhood" excuse for everything crappy that they do as adults (I'm looking at you, Lindsay). Not very many people have a Beaver Cleaver childhood, and yet many of them grow up to be functioning adults who are repelled by Nazis, stay faithful to their spouses, and don't find it necessary to go on national television to try to drum up sympathy. He's said his piece, now as far as I'm concerned he can slither back under his rock.
ReplyDeleteSnnnnooooorrrre. Boring.
ReplyDeleteYou lose, sucker. Please now just slink away with your tail between your legs.
Borg Queen one of the bloggers over at CB thinks the same thing. I don't see how she could reconcile with this scum bag thought without her reputation being irreparably damaged.
ReplyDeletei refuse to give him the time of day. i know this is supposed to be a pr stunt to make him look better. i think it is making it worse.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about publicity but he needs to STFU and move on. If he wants to try and work things out with Sandra then he needs to do so privately and away from the public eye because none of us give a shit.
ReplyDeleteAnd the bad childhood excuse is TIRED. Children with FUCKED up lives have gone on to lead perfectly healthy adult lives.
I wish people could be honest and say "I love my spouse and I fucked everything up because I also love having sex with gutter trash cum bucket whores." It may not sound nice but its better than blaming your childhood for everything.
I watched an old episode of Dirt last night and they featured a crisis management person coaching the Paris Hilton type character (after she drove drunk down the wrong way of the freeway and flashed her tittays in Burma). Makes me think business must be booming for these types of folks - the ones who teach the celebs what to say and how to act in times of damage control. Jesse's damage control person is probably telling him to get out there and cry all over TV to elicit sympathy (which clearly isn't working).
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, the Dirt episode also referenced the Alec Baldwin phone message incident. Whoever Alec's people are must be genius because until that point, I had forgotten his 'rude pig' tirade. Wow, celebs are all about the second and third and nineteen chances aren't they (I'm looking at you Charlie Sheen). Celebrity mea culpas are everywhere but the fake factor is so high, it's a drama unto itself.
His voice is as bad as David Beckham's.
ReplyDelete@Cheryl
ReplyDeleteI was just going to say that. Jinx.
@ Syko - EXACTLY! People have to eventually realize that they make their decisions in life and that, yeah, maybe they had a screwed up childhood that messed with their heads, but they don't have to let that DEFINE them! That's part of maturing, realizing that you decide who you become and you decide what you let affect you. As that saying goes, "Living well is the best revenge." Or something like that.
ReplyDeleteYou know, adulterers/cheaters are essentially selfish creatures. It's all about what THEY 'think' they want at that moment and it doesn't matter who it hurts. Some are, honestly, good people who may have been feeling neglected, used, or what have you for a long while until they feel that they DESERVE to do what they want/feel, no matter if it hurts a spouse, children, or parents. Others, however, are very self focused and it's all about them. Both types, though, feel the need to blame others for their crappy decisions b/c it makes them feel better about it (the decision) and themselves. "Well, if my wife had given me sex more, I wouldn't have gone looking for it elsewhere," or "If my husband praised me more for the things that I do, I wouldn't have been so attracted to the guy who did." It's crazy. So, instead of talking about their issues, they bring another person into the mix. Yeah, that's smart, right?
It just all comes down to being selfish, for whatever reason, and thinking only of yourself instead of those who are the most important people in your life.
And..../end rant.
I am not 100% convinced that SB might be behind rehabilitating his image.
ReplyDeleteI agree with everybody else it all seemed very staged and he knew when to cry and emote like a good sociopath knows how to do.
Somehow he is the victim for sticking his peen in the girls cuase he isn't "good enough" for Sandy. PUH LEASE!
I still think eventually Sandy will get back with him.
@ Tara
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more.
His voice is FUBARed! Good god in heaven, that is painful!
ReplyDeleteJames has to rehab his image if he wants to continue with any sort of "celebrity" status, however Dlisted, let alone reconcile with SB. I'm not sure their relationship is entirely over, but she can't allow the Nazi stink that's on him to fuck up her image.
I think these two might actually get back together at some point in the future.
Amen, Syko.
ReplyDeleteLove that he has a prissy little girl voice, hee hee!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard David Beckham speak. Bad voice too?
When he cries I want to slap him and yell FAAAAKE!!!
I totally agree, Enty. She seems like such a private person too.... I bet she is HATING this.
ReplyDeleteThis guy has always been a douche and will always be a douche. I don't think the Sandra Bullock was in the dark about his doucheyness for one minute-I mean, come ON, his former girlfriends are a whose who of strippers and porn stars!
ReplyDeleteThe only reason she won't take him back is because of the damage this has done to her public persona. But if she does take him back, she is a moron x2 because he'll just keep making a fool out of her.
How did this man get famous??!! He reminds me of the aging bikers who hang around high schools yelling gross things at 14 year old girls. Disgusting.
He was very famous and a multi-millionaire before he ever met Sandra. He isn't a racist most of the people who work for him and who he does business with aren't white. He's gotten a number of homeless people off the streets, they weren't white but they got jobs around the shop and then they were homeless anymore. He's been very kind to many people.
ReplyDeleteIt was so easy to trounce him because of that White Power Skank, did he cheat yes, more than once probably and should Sandra divorce him, yes. But they still co-parent the kids, millions of people do it everyday. He knows he ruined his life and really hurt his children.
I think moving to Texas is the best possible thing he could do for the kids right now. They are suffering over his misdeeds and now it's time to say your piece, and move the hell on and be happy if you can find any in this mess. He didn't murder anyone, he was an unfaithful husband. Most of them are sadly.
He's famous because he builds custom bikes, they are like artwork, and some of them the fastest bikes on the road.
zandra is right, actually they met when sandra took a (nephew?) who was a fan, to his shop as a treat. he seemed to be "cool" type of "outlaw" sort, and i liked him back then, and my like turned to out-and-out love when he and sandy fell for each other. i HAVE to believe it was genuine in the beginning, because not to makes a fool out of so many people.
ReplyDeletenow, i despise him so much, i can't even watch these clips.
maybe if he'd cheated on someone other than sandra, i wouldn't want to punch him repeatedly in the face and crotch (using medical grade latex, of course), but i think now he should dry up and blow off the planet, quietly living sandy visitation rights to those children.
can't even call him a douche, because i don't think he should EVER be near anybody's lady parts ever again. especially his soon to be ex-wife's.
I'm going to go get some homeless people off the street so I can screw over whoever I want. Repeatedly. Many others do this to their wives and families, thus it should not be a big deal. Right?
