Jani Lane, the former lead singer for Warrant was arrested last night for DUI. In what is seeming like a more frequent occurrence, Jani was arrested for the second time in a little under a year for DUI. The last time was back in July and he was placed on three years probation. It looks like he will definitely be spending some time in jail this time around. The guy needs help. Did he even go to rehab last time?

ReplyDeleteIt is sad and I do feel a bit sorry for him. Well, I did up until just now. He's had plenty of chances to clean up and get his life and career back on track (the guy is actually a good songwriter - Cherry Pie became a hit and kind of overshadowed the rest of that album, which was a good rock record...). But now he's just being stupid. Go to jail!

ReplyDeleteAh, I used to love Warrant back in the day. Their song "Heaven" was the first "song" I ever had with a boy.
ReplyDeleteThe fact of the matter is - Dr. Drew or not - rehab just doesn't take very often. I think the stats are something like 30% MAX in any rehab centre will actually kick drugs/alcohol when they leave.
Poor Jani. He used to be so cute. "Heaven" is a fantastic song, as is "I Saw Red." I wish him the best.

I don't remember him being an asshole on Celeb Fit Club. I guess I don't have a good memory. I liked the guy, but not Warrant.

Alcohol can really ruin the image of one person even how popular he was and look at his skin he need to take some health products to have a glowing skin.
