After watching a preview of William Shatner and Lin Yu Chun, I really couldn't wait to see the entire butchering of the 80's classic Total Eclipse Of The Heart. You know this Lin Yu Chun guy is pretty good, but I see why William Shatner only ever made one album.
As Kathy Griffin put it, "He's my favorite bloated, red-faced booze-bag!" Mine, too!
ReplyDeleteLove the Shat. So wrong it's right, but Rocket Man is the ultimate Shatner performance. You Tube that shit friends.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHA! LOVED IT!
ReplyDeleteWilliam Shatner-LOL!
love him - the clip of his take off of Seven with him playing 3 characters cracks me up
ReplyDeleteLove the Shatner!
ReplyDeleteLol there's a FB group making the rounds right now promoting him as Canada's next Gov. General.
If Shatner ever teamed up with Betty White they would rule the universe.
ReplyDeletehahaha! It was awesome
ReplyDelete"Turn around!" Hahaha...this is awesome! And really weird.
ReplyDeleteWilliam Shatner did TWO albums: Transformed Man in the sixties (aka Shatner butchers Dylan and the Beatles) and Has Been a few years ago (aka Shatner is now an ironic icon for hip indie musicians and makes a second album with their help).
ReplyDeleteNo one...NO one does the pop song in spoken word format like Shatner....
ReplyDeleteis it wrong that I cracked up at the Moe hair cut?
Pretty much what I thought it would be: awesome.
ReplyDeleteThat Shatner never dissapoints.
ReplyDeleteHope he can give his buddy Sandy Bullock some decent advice.
His latest book was
a
laugh
a
minute.
someone in h'wood pls hire lin yu chan! he's like the new bobby lee, i'm sure it's unintentional, but he's fun to watch. love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat I would give to smoke a blunt on the roof with the Shat and James Spader....Denny Crane!
ReplyDeleteI love him. He is so awesome. His version of Mr. Tambourine man is so great. I'm not sleepy!
ReplyDeleteCheryl, I've gotta disagree - nothing beats 'Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds.' "Look for the girl. With the sun in her eyes. And she's GONE!"
ReplyDeleteLove Shatner. Love this video. Love Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, too, Moosh. BUt let's not forget Leonard Nimoy love, either. He's a poet, don't you know it? An example of his talent. All I can say is WOW!:
ReplyDeleteYou fill me
With your love

You fill me

Love it.
ReplyDeleteHe (Lin Yu Chun) was on Ellen this week and he seems so sweet. He was talking about getting bullied as a kid and it made me sad.
the shat abides.
ReplyDeleteCheryl, they did team up. Betty was a recurring guest star on Boston Legal with The Shat. Those episodes were beyond awesome!
ReplyDeleteHas Been is a great CD. Well worth the listen.
ReplyDeleteWilliam Shatner could play my father in a movie. Seriously.
