Tori Spelling To Replace Oprah
Now that Oprah has said she is leaving daytime next year, there are lots and lots of ABC affiliates that will have nothing to show for an hour. Many of them are going to show local news because it is a big money maker for local stations. But, ABC thinks they have a better idea. An hour of Tori Spelling with a male co-host to be found at some point in the next year. It definitely won't be Dean. I'm not sure I could handle seeing Tori Spelling everyday five days a week. I'm not saying she would not be a good talk show host because she probably would. I just don't think I am ready for her to be the person that everyone looks to for their book buying, finance and medical decisions. I guess it will be more of a Regis & Kelly show rather than a solo show, but it just isn't for me. You?
le gross.
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or do Tori and Heidi Montag look alike?
ReplyDeleteick nast
ReplyDeleteI like her, so I'll be the exception and say, yes, I will watch.
ReplyDeleteGross but I don't watch Oprah so they won't really be losing me as a viewer...they just won't be gaining one.
ReplyDeleteAs long as it isn't Jenny McCarthy.
ReplyDeletevomit.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen Oprah or Martha Stewart, i'm not into those kind of shows but I'm not sure how will she get an audience.
ReplyDeleteI saw her on Kathy and Houda's (sp.?)show and found her enjoyable. So I'm open to at least watching the first episode.
ReplyDeleteNo it won't be another Oprah but I then I don't need another Oprah.
Personally, I never take advice from anyone else than Tori Spelling?
ReplyDeleteI don't know why, but I'd watch at least once to see what it was about. If she tries to be another Oprah then forget it. But if it's something that's fun, entertaining & unique, then it could be interesting. I saw somewhere they were looking for it to have a "Will & Grace" vibe, so I'm curious if they are specifically looking for a gay male co-host?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure she'll give excellent advice on how to romance married men who have just adopted a child with their wives. Also: How to Hustle.
ReplyDeleteCount me out as a viewer.
Why not have her and Candy host? LOL
ReplyDeleteThat would make ratings, I can see it now, THE SPELLINGS
Dear God, NO!!!!!

ReplyDeleteAt last, a reason to be glad I work during the day and can't watch daytime TV!
ReplyDelete@Carrie L, if that's true she could host with mah Boo Mr. AC. LOL!
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS A JOKE RIGHT ?
ReplyDeleteOprah is not just on ABC affiliates,She is on a NBC affiliate in Nashville where I live.
ReplyDeletei actually think she'd make for a good show if dean's not a part of it. she's MUCH more likable as a person when he isn't in the picture.
ReplyDeleteThe world is truly ending.
ReplyDeleteAs long as they tell her what to say and don't let her pick her own stuff, I think she would be good.
ReplyDeleteI'm probably the only person who didn't watch 90210 much and have never seen the reality show, but I did see Tori and Dean on Bonnie Hunt's show and thought they were good. Unfortunately, I think Tori's show will have the same future as Bonnie's.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why they don't want her hosting with her weasel husband?
ReplyDeleteWill.Never.Watch. Ever.
ReplyDeleteAnd yet Bonnie Hunt's show is being canceled? Where's the justice, world!?
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's too bad Bonnie Hunt's show can't take over the gap. She is genuine, funny and family-oriented.
ReplyDeleteyes...let's reward this home-wrecker w/ another show.
ReplyDelete*headdesk*
I don't hate her. I enjoyed her first book....but I'm not sure about 5 days a week.....and I already watch WAY too many talk shows. So probably no.

ReplyDeleteI like Tori. She seems to have very bad self esteem issues. I am sure she was always spoiled but she doesn't act like a jackass like most celebs!
