This very young, but legal, socialite reality star (not cable) was at a party the other night when she made it very clear that she was available for the night for the right price. Her asking price? $25,000. When one guy asked her how come she charged so much she said, "I'm on a reality show. I have a DVD of one of the episodes if you want to watch."

ReplyDeleteI don't watch reality tv, but this would have to be someone who was on the Bachelor, Survivor, Amazing Race or the Apprentice or one of those weight loss shows, right? Since he says not cable that means one of the shows on NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, or the CW.

He then asks, would you sleep with me for $10. She gets very offended and says - Of course not, what do you take me for? Is the CW a not cable network? The weird thing about life in 2010 is that I get all my channels via direct or cable t.v., so I don't know what the broadcast networks are. Like, weren't there broadcast channels other than the big three?
ReplyDelete"High Society" was on CW, so the Jules Kirby guess would be right, if CW is one of those off-brand and yet non-cable channels.
I never associated "socialite" with high class -- I've known debutants. They can get their freak on in ways that are just plain bizarre and nasty. I've always just associated "socialite" with Rich -- Old Rich, Blue Blood Rich, people-who-go-to-Charity-Balls (yes they exist) Rich.
ReplyDeletea socialite to me is someone who's family has money and they go to lots of parties. yes, the often start out as debutantes. it's not a commentary on HOW they live their lives. some really do work---ivanka trump is one of those and aerin lauder is another. nothing wrong with being a socialite. doesn't mean you're a whore (and whoever this is, she's definitely a whore.)

Hasselbeck -- now I have an image in my mind of her doing an intense s&m scene, with over the top verbal degradation and lots of psycho mind games -- I don't like her politics, but I imagine she's probably quite a Tiger in bed (and I do mean Tiger).

There are loads of people who charge an appearance fee to show up at nightclubs, parties, etc. Those people are "available for the night for the right price." The blind doesn't say anything about the reality star being a whore, even if the language is suggestive. I think this was an overheard conversation about a reality star(let?) bragging about the appearance fee she can command. FTW.
