There have been several parodies of the lady GaGa and Beyonce video they made for Telephone. None though previous to this had been made by members of the military. Also, I don't think any had been made in Afghanistan. This video checks off both those boxes. Love it.
i haven't seen the original, but i don't think it could beat this. omfg. loves it.
ReplyDeleteright...there are NO gays in the military..lol.
ReplyDeleteHa!!! This was so great. I love the one guy shaking his butt around, he's hilarious.
ReplyDeleteEllen needs to book these guys, STAT!
ReplyDeleteThis was fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteA million times better than the original.
Loved the ending.
So Awesome. I am glad they are still managing to have some fun over there. And that big guy has some moves.
ReplyDeleteJust watched it again...
ReplyDeleteThey certainly put in a considerable amount of time rehearsing the routines and creating the costumes.
I'm glad they can still have fun, considering how difficult and dangerous it must be where they are.
Too Funny! Thanks Enty!
ReplyDelete*LMAO* Jax, I was going to say the same thing!
ReplyDeleteIn general, I'm just happy that they're doing good stuff over there.
Ok I see Jax's and Harriet's general point but I don't think anyone believes there are no gays in the military, you just are not supposed to be "out". The whole policy is completely asinine but I still feel the need to clarify.
ReplyDeleteOK, let me put it this way then: SOME OF THESE GUYS JUST CAME OUT.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, gay or not, this was awesome and fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteHe he! Nice Harriet :)
ReplyDeletelol @ Jax. I'm posting this to my FB stat.
ReplyDeleteI so heart the chunky guy! The dancing alone scenes are priceless! LOVE IT!!
ReplyDeleteThat was fun. :)
ReplyDeleteBuwahahahahahaha! This was hysterical. Thanks Enty!
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine if this was your deployed hubby & you hadn't seen him in 2 years? Too funny.
ReplyDeletehahahaha...it was great.
ReplyDeletealice..i think some people still think that, but merely sarcasm on my part.
ReplyDeleteWow, I didn't see this one coming. Who'd a thunk it?
ReplyDeleteAwesome. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThat puts a new spin on "don't ask, don't tell." LOL!
ReplyDeleteLooks like they had fun, and if that's what brings 'em a little joy while they are serving over there, who are we to judge?
@Jax
ReplyDeleteYou beat me to it!
Thank Obama for trying to get rid of DA-DT.
Let the wrong eyes catch this one and there ain't gonna be a troop left.
What was up with the guy dressed in yellow and black tape with a sparkly thing draped on his head?!
ReplyDeletelmao!!!!
Loved it, loved it loved it
This was awesome. In Enty's words, I want to have a drink with these guys.
ReplyDeleteBut they made it private on youtube. Gawker has it still. http://gawker.com/5527628/us-soldiers-in-afghanistan-made-a-lady-gaga-music-video?skyline=true&s=i
God Bless 'em--they need a little stress relief and decided to get it in THE GAYEST way ever! I love it! I <3 when stereotypically masculine/macho men can just poke fun at themselves in this way. Go troops!
