David Letterman made a rare appearance on a show other than his own when he showed up on Regis & Kelly this morning. Letterman talked about trying to repair his marriage, did a great impression of Jay Leno and seemed fairly remorseful about how he has effed up his marriage. Three parts, but, hey it is Friday and really, won't all that work wait until Monday?
I don't watch Letterman and am not interested in his life. He screwed up just like the other assholes?
ReplyDelete"Who knew your Jay Leno impersonation could be so brilliant?"
ReplyDeleteHe's had a lot of time to perfect it.
$10 says he throws hour-long showdowns between him and Jay when alone - with him playing Leno.
All the years I've watched Letterman, I've only ever seen him in two modes: bitter and bitterer.
Maybe he screwed up, but he certainly sounds genuine in his commitment to fix his marriage.
ReplyDeleteI live in Indianapolis. We love him and always will. I really like that he's not an ass-kisser.
ReplyDeleteI agree with libby. I love his interviews. So refreshing to have someone interview the celebs instead of just being their PR flack
ReplyDeleteI want him to be a good guy, I really do. Guess all we can do is sit and wait and see.
ReplyDeleteI love Letterman. My crush on him started in my teen years and hasn't really waned all that much. Never watched Jay because I didn't find him funny or a good interviewer at all.
ReplyDeleteLove.
ReplyDeleteRegis was annoying as always, Kelly... well... but Dave was the absolute professional he always is on screen and I thank Enty for making me aware of the interview. I especially love the part about fixing his marriage. I wish Dave all the luck in the world for that!
ReplyDeleteLetterfool doesn't sound like he's a bit remorseful to me. He's a bitter old man whose best days are way behind him. He got caught and he hates that he couldn't control the situation like he does everything else around his life. Azz wipe is what he is.
