Apparently if you crash a party at the White House and ultimately cause someone to lose your job you get handsomely rewarded. Tareq and Michaele Salahi became famous overnight when they crashed a White House party while they were auditioning for the Real Housewives Of Washington DC. Apparently their stunt worked so now they are the stars of the series which starts airing in July. Oh, they are also going to write a book about that night and the incident because there are so many questions people want answered. Really? A whole book about a few hours? Why that would be as crazy as Miley Cyrus writing a new updated biography every year. Oh, wait. She does that doesn't she. Meanwhile, the former White House social secretary Desiree Rogers looks for a job.
THIS IS WRONG....I CAN BARELY TYPE...BAD BEHAVIOR, IMPROPER BEHAVIOR, DANGEROUS BEHAVIOR SHOULD NOT BE REWARD...THIS IS WARPED...THE BRAIN TRUST WHO GAVE THIS THE GREEN LIGHT SHOULD BE FIRED...AND REPLACED WITH DESIREE ROGERS...SHE CAN'T DO ANY WORSE..

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, people will watch this show b/c of them. Real Housewives of DC is a sign Bravo's jumped the shark though. Can't they just continue with the cities they already have before we end up with Real Housewives of Wasilla, AK?? Hopefully people won't buy the book.

ClaireFraiser, that is a Sari she's wearing, and quite a fancy modern one. You must have forgotten that the party they crashed was a White House state dinner for Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh . Many of the invited guests wore Saris to the event. They fit right in, hence their success.

They are locals here where I live. They are enitled asshats. They regularly hire people for services tey can't afford, and then don't pay them. They've been yanked into court a few times lately for this. I was looking forward to watching this edition of Housewives, since I'm a DC native, but there is no way in hell I'll support anything or anyone affliated wit these asswipes.
