I'll go see it. I think the books/movies are entertaining. However, that Lautner guy gives me the creeps. And the Howard girl looks pretty wearing the other actress' hair.
I liked the books, and the second movie was alright. Okay, I'm just going to go ahead and admit that I woke up this morning excited to see the trailer.
Enjoyed the books for the most part, and rushed out to buy the DVD of "Twilight" the minute it was released...but I have not been able to watch it. I've tried, but just can not get into it. I won't even try with the remainder.
Adding to my list of things I believe are true despite all evidence to the contrary: 1. I will win the lottery. 2. I will win an Academy Award. 3. Aliens from outer space are real and truly do want to travel millions of miles just to hover over our planet to see what we're doing. 4. Brad and Angie are a happy, monogamous couple and great parents. 5. Robert Pattinson is straight and he and Kristen Stewart really are a couple.
i read the first three, started on the fourth but i was kind of creeped out by the way she was defending that baby, or whatever it was. and no, i didnt read more than a couple of pages, so dont tell me what happens! :) i might need to pick it up at some point
Char- you have to wait because the Harry Potter movies are being made well. Twilight movies are being pumped out as quickly as possible to make as much money off the horny twi-hards before everyone realizes the books were terrible and these people couldn't act their way out of a paper bag.
Waking up after that 1:33 nap to say I agree with Island Girl. This franchise can't wait a year or two between movies because tweeners grow up.
Syko, it's worth watching for the bad acting and the elongated montages. The hospital scene and "Bella's" reaction to Edward leaving was my favourite. I thought she was having a fit.
I have a love hate relationship with the books/movies. I don't even remember reading Eclipse. I think after reading the last book and the ridiculous plot line of Renesme all the other details of the prior books just molded together.
No thanks. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll pass.

ReplyDeletePass. This is something The Awful Truth readers care about.
ReplyDeleteI will see it with my grandaughter. I loved the books. The movies so far have sucked.
ReplyDeleteLOL at the wig the Howard girl is wearing. Wonder if that pissed off the original Victoria?

ReplyDeleteOH THE DRAMA....I QUIT AFTER BOOK 2
ReplyDeleteThe trailer looks good but so did the one for New Moon and look how that turned out.
ReplyDeleteStill looking forward to seeing how they deal with the Jacob-Bella's baby romance in Book 4.
I'm looking forward to how they deal with her baby chewing its way out of her belly!
ReplyDeleteGood lord. I am tired of these people.
ReplyDeletePersonally, the second part of book 4 was my favorite of all of them. I wonder how or if they will make a movie of it.
ReplyDeleteI loved the books. There, I've said it.

I've read books 1 & 2, have seen no movies. In no hurry to change that.
