Lindsay Is Out At Ungaro

The fashion dailies and weeklies were all holding their breaths this morning. No one could wait to see what Lindsay Lohan managed to put together for Ungaro this time around. Last time Ungaro hit the runway their show was a laughingstock. Oh, how I have always wanted to use that word in a sentence. Anyway, whether Lindsay was or was not to blame last time, this time there would be no running. But when the morning arrived and Ungaro was set to go, everyone was looking for Lindsay. And? She was a no show. Asked by Women's Wear Daily where Lohan was and what she contributed to the designs, Ungaro's owner said, "She's not involved in this collection." The owner wouldn't say anything else about it. I would guess they probably kept asking Lindsay for things but since she couldn't steal anything this time for any designs she probably just blew them off.

  1. I'll be ok if you decided to never post anything about this do-nothing again.

Oh no, we have to keep hearing about Lindsay, nothing else makes me feel so mature, in control of my life, sensible and intelligent!

  3. Lindsay keeps getting chances to reinvent herself and to work and she keeps blowing these chances. Of course with famewhores as parents is it no wonder she is as messed up as she is. She coulda been a contender.

  5. Syko, apparently you live in a nice neighborhood with good kids. Kudos.
And there was such a day when I felt bad for Linds b/c Paris would pick on her so. So, am I to give Paris credit now, I mean she is toxic, but even she dismisses/ousts those who are more toxic then her.

  6. how is it that anyone in the world wants to work with her? i mean, three years ago i thought she was washed up - still shocked about ungaro and the purple magazine cover.

amazing how someone can actually make a career out of being a torrid mess, an embarrassment to herself and to everyone else - with exception to her stellar family.

seems this is the family business. what does this say about our culture that we keep this kind of trash in the limelight????????

@ moxy - not especially. Kids are kids everywhere, and drug deals go down on my corner just like everywhere else. I was attempting, apparently unsuccessfully, to be ironic, maybe a little funny.

  9. Syko - gotcha.
I did find it funny when I first read. Just remember - you are special and you are worth it. :)

  10. I think hell has frozen over because I'm actually starting to feel badly for her. No, I don't think she needs anymore second (third? fourth? fifth?) chances , but she seems so hell-bent on sabotaging any opportunity that come her way. She fucked up that all-expenses paid date with the Viennese businessman, she fucked up this: her much ballyhooed entrance into serious fashion, and remember when she got fired from Ugly Betty? And it must hurt seeing her Mean Girls co-stars Amanda Seyfreid and Rachel McAdams appear at the Oscars last night. Of course, that would assume that Lins is cognitively aware of what is going on around her.

I don't know if all this fail-boating of hers is for the attention, or if she is so drug and booze addled that she stopped paying attention, but she needs help. That bottom is going to hit awfully quick.

  11. @ Stephani - "Of course, that would assume that Lins is cognitively aware of what is going on around her."

    Very funny line, Stephani.

What is that mess Linds is wearing? She looks like she fell into strawberry-flavored Cool-Whip.

It's a shame that Lindsey can't straighten herself out. She's had way too many chances that she's screwed up. And that interview she gave about her ability to drink now and know her limit. And how she's so clean and sober. Total delusion. As long as she doesn't own up to the fact that she's still drinking and drugging, she'll never get better.

  12. The picture above is when she was getting turned away from the Dior show. She needs to go away!

  13. Ungaro should have known. They hired her on hoping for publicity, but came to realize that fame is not the same as infamy in Hollywood. Lindsay is done, washed up, a joke.
One day she may pull a Robert Downey Junior, but she's nowhere near acting like a responsible adult at the moment.

  14. Dare I say I love the dress she's wearing in that photo? It's very feminine and gives Lindsay the illusion of a girlish (as opposed to coke-ish) figure. The jacket is adorable too, but I suspect it is real fur so that gets a thumbs down. If it were faux, the entire ensemble would be fab! Quelle surprise!!

  16. I, for one, am still surprised that people keep hiring her. You know she's going to be a no-show due to pill-popping or god knows what else, so why bother?

And to think she used to look adorable. The way she's going, she's going to look like that old woman from Drag Me To Hell when she's 30.

  17. Hiring Linds is like free publicity to what you hire her for. She won't show up so you won't have to actually pay her since she didn't fulfill her obligations yet her no show will be discussed all over the place with your name attached to it. Brilliant!
