At Least One More Year For An Arrested Development Movie - Straight From Jason Bateman & Will Arnett
Thanks to a very observant CDAN reader who also made themselves into a quick reporter, these blurry pictures were taken at about 445am in the Vancouver airport. The subject of the first one is Mike Babcock. He is coach of the Canada hockey team that won gold. Yesterday and today he is a hero in Vancouver. Tomorrow he goes back to being the coach of the Detroit Red Wings and Vancouver's almost mortal enemy.
Well spotted chatting with Mike were two guys who are very difficult to make out, but hey it was 445am so I am prepared to give the reader a break. On the left is Will Arnett and on the right is Jason Bateman. Two questions, and two questions only were asked. When is the Arrested Development movie? Answer is at least another year. Will there be one made? Absolutely. No question about it.
See? You don't need a red carpet or anything special to get the answers we all want. All you have to do is hang out at the Vancouver airport at the crack of dawn the day after the Olympics end.
I'm kinda over it. It's taking WAY too long.
ReplyDeletenice work reader! I don't know if I would have been able to bring myself to ask!
ReplyDeleteLucky SOBs! Man, I wish I coulda headed up to Vancouver!
ReplyDeleteGood job, reader! :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, awesome of those two to pose for fan pics at 4:45 am.
ReplyDeletevery cool, reader. the most i got was a photo with Mi Jung Li..lol.
ReplyDeleteyay to the reader who was at the right place at the right time. love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks reader!! So cool that they posed with you at 445am.
ReplyDeletethats awesome.
ReplyDeletei just rewatched arrested and i had forgotten just how BRILLIANT it is... *sigh*
I cant wait another year, at least if i know its coming
i meant i CAN wait, if i know its coming...
ReplyDeleteAwww, kudos to the guys for posing...
ReplyDeleteThis game was tough, as a Red Wing fan - I live just south of Detroit, love my Stevie Y and Babcock, and rooted for USA. Argh!
Thanks Amy--I was going to add that Babcock is also coach of my beloved Red Wings!!!
ReplyDeleteAs a Red Wings fan, the worst thing about that game was that Crybaby Crosby scored the game-winning goal in OT. I would have been fine with any other Canadian player scoring that goal EXCEPT Crosby.
ReplyDeletePS- am so jealous I'm not the one in that pic with GOB and Michael Bluth!
I think it was perfect that Sid scored the winning goal. Wah wah America, another loss in the books.
ReplyDeleteI didn't watch the game, but from the noises of neighbours in my building, and every building in a three-block radius, I knew what was going on.
ReplyDeletethat's ok, Kristi, 20 million Canadians are pretty happy with it.
ReplyDeleteand if anyone is a fucking crybaby its APOLO ONO. asshole! trying to say that he got DSQ intentionally because it was a CDN ref on CDN soil and 2 CND that won. f-ck right off, you did not give way AND bumped the dude.
sore fucking loser indeed.
Jax is right. Apolo Ono is a cry baby and that was the flimsiest excuse for being disqualified I have ever heard. Another wah wah for you!
ReplyDeletethe men's gold medal hockey game was AWESOME! as a hockey fan, i don't care who you were rooting for, it was two teams playing their hearts out fairly. as a pittsburgh native, either way i was going to be happy with the result. if the US won - yeah home country! if canada won, yeah sid-the-kid and marc-andre!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Reader! I can be patient. Really, I can.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Rose (first commenter)--I might lose interest if they keep dragging it on too long.
ReplyDeleteCan barely remember the nuances of the show for any kind of continuity now as it is.
But please do it anyway, producers/whomever! Do it!
(sorry, don't want to jinx it...)
Thank you, Reader who got the info for us!
ReplyDeleteI will patiently wait.
Yeyyyy! Good work Reader!
