Do you remember the above photo which was taken about nine months ago? That was the first day of Chris Brown's community service and there were cameras everywhere that day to show that he was really doing hard labor and not just hanging out and signing autographs like some celebrities or just blowing things off completely like Michelle Rodriguez. Well, Chris Brown will be in court this afternoon because the Judge presiding over his case is not convinced that Chris has really been doing hard labor. I'm not convinced either. As much as he is photographed out in public and as much as he travels, I am wondering whether he has spent any time back in Virginia doing community service and if so, how come there has never been another photo of him performing it. I would have posted every single one of the pictures just to take a dig at him. There has been nothing though and I will be interested to see what he says he did and when.
i say good for that judge!! i really hate cb though, so i may be a wee bit biased. ;)

Thankfully his last album and tour tanked but seeing him at fashion shows (and posing with celebs) is disturbing. He is trying to rehabilitate his image. Whole thing makes me sick.
I don't think Chris Brown will ever bounce back from this and I highly doubt people will forget about it. I mean, he's replaced Ike Turner in the sentence "don't make me Ike Turner you."

ReplyDeleteI'm not convinced that he's doomed. I live in the South Jersey-Philadelphia area and in the past week, I've heard his songs on the radio at least 3 times.

Wow, there's a lot of judgment here. I hope those that are so hard on Chris are just as hard on Sean Penn, Charlie Sheen, Nick Carter (I know, he's beyond irrelevant but he fits), Christian Slater and so on and so on.

Our local hip-hop radio station plays his music all the time, too, and it makes me switch the channel.

Despite the source it's a really perceptive observation.

It was the radio stations with no cojones who wouldn't play the Chicks. (Even after support from Merle Haggard and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Of course, mainstream country radio doesn't currently play either of those artists).

ReplyDeleteI guarantee he will do his community service. I am a native Virginian and they DO NOT PLAY in my state. You don't do what you're supposed to, you WILL go to jail. I was thrilled when he had to do his community service in VA just because I knew he wouldn't be able to weasel out of it like he would in lawless craphole celebtard-worshipping CA. I never thought I could be more proud to be a Virginian but I guess I was wrong!

ReplyDeleteI live in Richmond Va, and there have been a good amount of Chris Brown sightings around there.. not doing community service though. He likes to frequent the Carytown area, which is a little shopping district uptown. He's from Tappahannock which isn't all that close to here (but not far either), so unless his family moved to Richmond, I don't think he's coming back there for any reason other than to do community service. I'm not defending him at all though, just saying. He's been here at least 3 times.
