Today's Blind Items

This aging, former B list television actor who used to be on a very hit show, is now a C despite working almost constantly since that hit show went off the air. Or is it? Our actor is in the middle of a divorce to his long term wife. The reason? Well the affair he has been having for the past year with a lingerie model/actress and her live in lingerie model girlfriend probably had a lot to do with it.

  1. Kevin Dillon?
Isn't he in the middle of a divorce?

  2. Someone from M.A.S.H? Alda?

  3. BITE YOUR TONGUE, RQ!!! ALDA IS A-LIST NOW AND FOREVER!!!!!!!! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  4. I'm confused. The show is or isn't off the air?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Benjamin Bratt just sold a lot of property for no stated reason.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Stacy - excellent guess!

    ReplyDelete
  7. I like the Bradley guess.

    ReplyDelete
  8. so was the show going to be cancelled but now it may not be?? confused here.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Bratt is divorcing?? why no one says me it?!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Ooh, I do like the BBratt guess, though. But they seem like such an awesome, in-love couple.

Don't know anything about Tim Allen's marital sitch.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Ok, this might make me superficial, but having an affair with a hot lesbian lingerie model and her roommate sounds kinda hot. And it's been going on for a year? Good lord. I'm gay but I don't think even I could withstand that.

I disapprove of cheating, though. I hope he and his wife had already separated before the steamy menage a trois commenced.

  12. Love your comment, Barton!

    ReplyDelete
  13. This should be fairly easy to narrow down. "Lingerie model/actress" = someone who models for Victoria's Secret and acts on the side. Then find out if that actress has had any projects with a B-List TV actor.

    ReplyDelete
  14. @Special MOM = Anyone (save for Kirstie Alley) from the Cheers franchise is always A-List.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Tim's only been married since 06.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Kevin Dillon also got married in 06 so I wouldn't say that's a long marriage.

    ReplyDelete
  17. What about Corbin Bernsen??

    ReplyDelete
  18. FYI, Benjamin got married in 02. Maybe by H'weird standards that's a long marriage, but I wouldn't think so.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Oh, damn, I was gonna pin it on Abe Vigoda, but he's a widower..... :-/

    ReplyDelete
  20. The show is now off the air, and the actor continues to work on other projects.

It can't be Bratt, 'cause Law & Order is still on, and that show where he played a drug counselor was far from a hit.

Kevin Dillon is still on Entourage, isn't he?

Noah Wiley seems like a good guess, but I don't know...

    ReplyDelete
  21. Ooh, Corbin Bernsen!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Wylie married in 2000
    Whitford in 92
    Kelsey in 97
    Corbin in 88

    ReplyDelete
  23. Wow. Haven't a clue, but don't ever complain about Ted C's blind-writing (pun intended) skills again!

I'm not stupid, but I gotta re-read this one. Again.

    And again.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ooooh, Ted Danson? (married since 95)

    ReplyDelete
  25. OK, just for funsies: Kirk Cameron (because he's such a goody-two-shoes LOL)

    ReplyDelete
  26. If your're working on a TV show does that make you a "B"? Because Corbin Bernsen's been working on Psych (hilarious show), so I think he's still B-list.

Noah Wylie is getting a divorce, was on ER and did a series on USA. Bradley Whitford - isn't he already divorced from Jane Kaczmerek?

    I don't know....

    ReplyDelete
  27. What if its someone from L&O: Crimina; Intent. The show was cancelled but brought back by TNT

    ReplyDelete
  28. Blair Underwood. Married since 1994, was on L.A. Law and works steadily.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Geez Mooshki! Alright alright, I retract my Alda guess and am pitching in with the Danson guess, but I hope it's not true. I really like Steenburgen.
    This could also be Wyle.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Could the "Or is it?" mean that the hit show has lots of reruns still showing?

Maybe Will from Will and Grace? Home Improvement, Friends, and Seinfeld are always on rerun also!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Corbin is definitely C-List now. He is a supporting character with minimal screentime in a basic cable show. Before this he was doing Celebrity Mole and the like. The leads in Psych would be B-List.
I just don't know if he is getting divorced...

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hi All,
I just read the blind differently. Maybe there is a remake of an old show currently on i.e. Melrose Place or 90210. One of the cast members from the original series could be getting divorced.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Royal Eduardo has a good point - L&O CI is off network, but on cable...

    ReplyDelete
  34. Oh interesting! I totallly missed the "Or is it?"
    Has to be a remake?

    ReplyDelete
  35. ...so maybe something like that.

    ReplyDelete
  36. LOL, RQ. Remember when Danson & Steenburgen got married and Bill Clinton warned him not to mess up with her? You don't want the President of the United States pissed at you. :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Why did I think Tom Selleck?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Guess: Ian Zierning?

    ReplyDelete
  39. @Mooshki - I guess no one gave Bill the same warning about Hilary?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Matthew Fox? He was on Party of Five and is on Lost...
There's been a lot of press recently about his affair with a stripper - not sure if she is also a lingerie model with a live in girlfriend - but doesn't seem like such a stretch..
Also, the "Or is it" could be a reference to "Lost" and all of the unanswered questions and plot twists.

    ReplyDelete
  41. By the way, I know that "Lost "is still on the air - but it is supposed to be the last season...so I thought maybe it counted since they're done filming..
    Just a guess..

    ReplyDelete
  42. I must be the only person who read this blind's "Or is it?" as suggesting that the plotline of the very hit show that went off the air is similar to the situation the actor finds himself in now. Three's Company popped into mind immediately but is the only show that remotely resembles the scenario of a man and two women (much less a married man having an affair with a lingerie model and her live-in girlfriend). That might have worked had John Ritter still been around.

    ReplyDelete
  43. @RQ Who would have given him the warning? There isn't anyone scarier than Hilary. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Dear God,

Please, if you have any love for me left, let it be Blair Underwood and let me conveniently find him on my doorstep tomorrow. Thank you.

    xoxo,
    SFG

  45. Breaking news: Vancouver police think they found the body of Andrew Koenig in Stanley Park :-(

    ReplyDelete
  46. Aww, man. Sad for the Koenig family, if true.

    ReplyDelete
  47. It's true, it came from CNN. So sad.

    ReplyDelete
  48. "I must be the only person who read this blind's "Or is it?" as suggesting that the plotline of the very hit show that went off the air is similar to the situation the actor finds himself in now."

Bingo - now who is it that had a plot line like that besides Three's Company?

    ReplyDelete
  49. @Rocketqueen - you whine incessantly in the comments about people bringing up politics on this board, and then you do what a typical right winger does - you Clinton bash. I don't want to see your whiny ass complaints about what people say on this site again.

    ReplyDelete
  50. What about one of the "Friends" guys?

    ReplyDelete
  51. What about the guy Matthew Fox? This totally sounds like him...

    ReplyDelete
  52. I think I got it! Google lingerie model/actress & Caprice Bourret comes up - she was on The Surreal Life (loved that show - isn't it time for another z list train wreck season?). Checked imdb; she's in Gumball 3000 a reality race series with, amongst others, DAVID HASSELHOFF!!!!!
    The Hoff ftw!!!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Jason Priestly from 90210 duh

    ReplyDelete
  54. I'm with Mike, Noah Wylie ftw!

    ReplyDelete
  55. for some reason, I thought of Ashton Kutcher, but I guess Demi doesn't count as a "long term wife" does she?
I'm no good at these blinds.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I think it's Kelsey Grammar. It says "Or is it?" Well, he is on reruns with Frasier and was on the very hit show, "Cheers." He works constantly with his latest show having JUST been cancelled and he does voice overs. I know that he wasn't upset the last show went off the air because he had a pilot he had just done and he sounded confident about that one.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I think 'or is it' means that its in reruns. definitely not the hoff, he's separated at the least and that the marriage is on the rocks is not a secret.

other than that, I got nuttin'.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I think if it was Ted Danson, Enty would have had to have mentioned that the wife is an actress (and an Oscar winner!)

    Kelsey Grammer
    Noah Wyle
    Tim Allen
    Ray Romano (nooooo!)

    ReplyDelete
  59. @Melinda: RocketQueen is pretty liberal--I think you might have misread what she wrote. She's just joking around about Clinton, not bashing him, I think.

I would vote for Kelsey Grammar, because he's a skank. Second marriage (to a stripper) was interrupted by the birth of a daughter by another woman. His current marriage is to a former Playboy model. That's not to say that strippers and Playboy models mean that the husband is a skank, but I think that he has no respect for women and is completely the type to have an affair with a model and her lesbian gf/roommate. The only question I have is why the lingerie model would see anything in HIM.

    ReplyDelete
  60. What about Joey from friends?

    ReplyDelete
  61. Conan! His hit Tonight Show is off the air - or is it now thanks to Leno.

Sorry, had to throw a huge stretch in the mix.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Melinda, I brought up Clinton first, and RQ & I were just joking around about husbands getting in trouble for cheating, not saying anything about politics.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Ted Danson was the biggest star in television, the highest paid actor for a few years. He is former A-list, for sure!

I find the Hasselhoff guess intriguing, because there's a new "Knight Rider" that's set to premier soon, right?

I think the "Or is it?" could mean EITHER there's a remake OR the show has never left the air due to re-runs. Unfortunately, all the Friends, Cheers, and Seinfeld casts are ALL former A-list. All the men from Gilligan's Island are dead, so I think this might be Andy Griffith.

    ReplyDelete
  64. "Knight Rider" already failed I think. but recently. edit.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Lol!! Y'know what, Melinda, remove your own head from your ass. I'm sorry to inform you that you have clearly confused me with someone else since I avoid political discussions on this site. Not only that, but I am a huge Clinton fan and was rooting for Hilary over Obama. Not that I had a say...since I'm Canadian. Apology accepted.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Noah Wily??

    Love your comment, Barton!

Somehow, I doubt that Barton is really gay.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Late to the party, but like the Noah Wily guess.

    ReplyDelete
  68. William Shatner comes to mind..

    ReplyDelete
  69. it is ray romano...married since 87...show has been off the air for a while, but not (syndicated 2-6 times a night on tbs among other stations so it seems like it is on everytime you turn on the TV)... steady work with voice overs, not very good movies, guest appareances as "himself", etc. Worked out with Tiger's swing coach for a new show a year ago...Tiger wasn't caught a year ago, so he probably hung out (went out trolling with him...lingere model 3-some? almost enough to make Tiger jealous)..Just cancelled out of a Pro-AM golf outing for family reasons...
    Its Beautiful Sorta...
    but NOT...N..O..T

    ReplyDelete
  70. wow, Melinda, you are O.C. Out of control. *said in a way Wisconsin-ish accent*

    ReplyDelete
  71. Very interesting about Romano. I really have nothing with this one..

    ReplyDelete
  72. @libby

Russell Johnson is very much alive. Its down to the Professor, Mary Ann and the one who still thinks she was the star of the show--but won't talk about "that project".

Another pretty man that went BLOOMP and got Orson Welles fat later in life. Mid-age spread is just sad.

    ReplyDelete
  73. @wildcat...

Romano must have picked up bad habits from Scott Bakula.

I still think Tiger Wood would have been less of a ho if his dad hadn't made getting white sluts a staple perk for him when his son played but hanging around Michael Jordan and several other major league athletes who are also big sluts and get away with it added fuel to the "I think I am the exception because I know how to play with balls"

    ReplyDelete
  74. Oh and my guess is Bradley Whitford (the guy from West Wing and Revenge of the Nerds 2, not the one from Aerosmith)

"in the middle" Malcolm in the Middle, his (soon-to-be-ex) wife's big show

Divorce was announced June 19, '09 so 8 months is short but she filed for full custody of their three kids which is just the start of some epic divorce battles.

BW has had projects on big screen and small every year since WW went off in 1996.

Interesting quote from him that search popped up:
Having an affair with an intern is just an incredibly stupid thing to do. ~Bradley Whitford

    ReplyDelete
  75. And redoing Cabin in the Woods in 3D while getting fat and doing lower-tier projects does turn a "recognizable face" previously seen weekly from B to C.

    ReplyDelete
  76. @Brainy don't you think the Blind would have mentioned the wife being on a long running hit show? And that Jane Kaczmarek is more recognizable (famous) than him? These people are to obscure to guess with out more clues (or inside knowledge).

If it is him I don't care about it -with the exception that I hope she gets full custody because he is a skank.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I loved the first Cabin in the Woods. :)

Jeez, Libby, until your second comment I forgot that Knight Rider had already aired too, and I watched the pilot. LOL, I guess that's what you call forgettable tv. Literally.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Wasn't there a blind revealed previously that was for Kevin James and Ray Ramno. And it definitely called Kevin James A-List. If Kevin James was A-list, I'm thinking Ray Ramano was DEFINITELY A-list while he was on "Everybody Loves Raymond."

    ReplyDelete
  79. Here's the Kevin James and Ray Romano blind I referred to: http://www.crazydaysandnights.net/2009/07/blind-items-revealed_923.html

    ReplyDelete
  80. What about David Duchovny? Hasn't his divorce been off-again/on again? And the "X-Files" is still on in re-runs and still alive in movies. And he's worked steadily with movies and "Californication," which this could be a plotline from, not to mention his sex addiction issue...

    ReplyDelete
  81. I really like the Jason Alexander guess. They've been married almost 30 years.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Brad Garrett anyone?

  85. Geeze people! Stop speculating...some of these comments (rumors) could really hurt some of these people! Re: Brad Whitford and ex-wife, Jane K. have 3 young children. She recently did a wonderful interview on the Bonnie Hunt Show (it is online..look it up)....talks about their wedding (shows pictures)their divorce and also talks about what a great guy..and wonderful husband and father Brad was. she even jokes about anyone wanting to fix their daughter up with him! She and He are both class acts...they both requested we respect their privacy during this time...and I, for one , think that's the VERY LEAST we all could do...

    ReplyDelete
  86. Melinda, what a true lefty beeyoch! Clintons claim to fame was getting a blowy in the oval office from a chubby girl. HE did that, not a right wing conservative. How can you blame anyone for thinking of him when infidelity is involved. How many Bush hater letters have you written in your life? Maybe you just need to get one.
