Today's Blind Items

When you are working on a television show the hours are very long and people get to know each other very well. Some get to know each other even more than normal. This new hit network show is one of my favorites and if you have seen it then it is probably one of yours also. Well, on the show there is a C list actor who really has a B list body of work. He is married and has been for awhile. Also on the show is an actress who is much, much younger than our actor but it hasn't stopped them from spending every free moment together in his trailer. She is legal. Barely.

#1 - Show
#2 - Actor
#3 - Actress

    ReplyDelete
  3. modern family
the dad (married with children guy)
his wife on the show (brazilian chick)

  4. I guess the wife on the show is more than "barely legal," so scratch her. Gross if it is the granddaughter

  5. 1- Modern Family
2- Ed O'Neill or Ty Burrell
    3- Sarah Hyland (Haley)

  6. Modern Family
    Ed O'Neill
Sofia Vargera? Is that her name?

    ReplyDelete
  7. oh wait, Sofia is waaay past legal.

  8. Agree with Wilder.

  9. Sarah Hyland who plays Hayley is 19.

  12. Modern Family

    Ed O'Neill

    Sarah Hyland (she's about 20)

  13. My first thought was 'Glee', too. But other than that, I've got nothing.

  14. ewwww.

    *jumps on 'modern family' train*

  15. New shows that may fit the profile (source: TV Guide) which is:one of Enty's favorites, has a barely legal actress and a "c" list actor with a B list body of work.

New shows that may fir the profile:

    1. Modern Family
    2. The Good Wife (?)
    3. Community (don't remember any barely legal actresses)

I don't think is watching any of the teen shows (Vampire Diaries, new Melrose, etc.) And I've left out

    ReplyDelete
  16. I thought of The Good Wife, but the girl who plays the daughter is just 16 (and looks younger if you ask me; I really hope it's not her). Also, there doesn't seem to be an actor who fits the description (married and C list).

    ReplyDelete
  17. i immediately thought of ed o'neill but surely he's B list---not C. so the only one that really fits (if it's 'modern family' that is) then it would have to be ty burrell.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Can someone tell me what "B list body of work" Ed O'Neill has?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Anonymous1:40 PM

I'd spend all my waking moments with Ed O'Neill, too--he's awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  20. lurkerxx has it. ed o'neill is higher than c.

  21. I was thinking Modern Family with Haley and the guy who plays her dad. He has been in a ton of things but hasn't really been recognizable til now. Maybe I'm wrong but I just can't think of Ed O'Neil as a C list actor - he'll always be at least B in my book.

  22. 1) Life Unexpected (CW)
    2)Kristoffer Polaha (plays Baze)
    3) Brittany Robertson (plays Luz)
Per IMDB, he's been married since '03 and was previously on Mad Men and a few other shows. She was born in 1990.

  23. Ed ONeil is definitely B list. He was on 260 episodes of All My Children plus Dragnet, Jon From Cincinnati, and The West Wing. Also he has appeared in between 1-5 moves per year since 1980. That is a hell of a career.
But he is 64 years old and has been married for 24 years and has 2 children. So if it is him - he's a DOG.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ty Burrell fits the description better than Ed O'Neill who is solid B-list.

That said, I hope it's no one from Modern Family. But I think ENT has previously mentioned liking the show, so...

  25. Wow, on Modern Family (best show in years!) the girl who plays Haley looks like about 14! Fooling around with her tv father? Euw! But I can see it--he is gorgeous, and I'll bet he's funny.

@jenni, no one watches "Life Unexpected." I've never even heard of it. And CW isn't a network.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm also with lurker's guess of Ty Burrell and the girl who plays Haley.

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Lindsay Yes, I believe so. 18 is legal, so 19 would be barely. Or Barley Legal as I call it, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  28. What about Scott Bakula or Andre Braugher from 'Men of A Certain Age"? Both currently married and probably C list with a B-list body of work. Young girl... Brittany Curran, 18 years old?

    ReplyDelete
  29. Sounds like the people who guessed
    1- Modern Family
2- Ed O'Neill or Ty Burrell
    3- Sarah Hyland (Haley)
    are on the money.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Nice job on the guesses! I think this one is solved.

    ReplyDelete
  31. i'm going with this guess too

    1- Modern Family
2- Ed O'Neill or Ty Burrell
    3- Sarah Hyland (Haley)

    ReplyDelete
  32. NCIS LA? The female agent on that show looks early to mid 20's.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Men of a Certain Age isn't a network show, it's on cable.

    ReplyDelete
  34. The CW IS a network, Figgy, just like FOX, CBS, NBC and ABC. A network is defined as: a distribution network for television content whereby a central operation provides programming for many television stations.

And I happen to like "Life Unexpected" quite a bit. It's very "Gilmore Girls" and was created by one of the writers on "Brothers and Sisters." It used to be called "Parental Discretion Advised" which was a much better name.

    ReplyDelete
  35. The Deep End. Enty would "love" this show because its about lawyers.

    1. Billy Zane

    2. Leah Pipes (23) or Rosa Pasquerella (23)

    ReplyDelete
  36. Noooo!

I immediately thought of Ty Burrell and Sarah Hyland. But I hope it isn't true.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oops @Stardust, you're right about the network, thanks.

I don't doubt that's a good show, but Enty is saying this show is a "hit," which Life Unexpected is not. (yet, maybe :-) )

  39. Sarah Hyland is a cutie. Looks like my wife did when she was 19ish. But I've never seen the show, only googled her to see who everyone was talking about.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Gotta be Modern Family. Enty says that "if you've seen it, then it is probably one of you (favorites)." I think that applies to MF more than any other show on tv right now--I cant imagine anyone not enjoying it.

Unfortunately, I think this is Ed O'Neill. I don't think Ty Burrell has a B list body of work. And while Ed O'Neill does, his name is not as well-known as most actors with his body of work, because he's so strongly associated with Married With Children.

Notice, by the way, how Enty said the person is "Married," not "Married with child (ren)." I think he's trying to avoid just giving it away.

This is definitely going to create an EWWWWW factor when I watch the show now. But then again, it's not as if Ed O'Neill's character is exactly attractive to me in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  41. 1-The Middle
2-Neil Flynn:on "Scrubs" for many years
    3-Eden Shur:turned 18 day after Xmas

    ReplyDelete
  42. Neil Flynn's not married.

If you are a 19yo girl, who are you going to hook up with... Ed O'Neill or Ty Burrell. Just saying.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I was thinking maybe LOST and Matthew Fox but can't think of anyone barely legal on the show?

    ReplyDelete
  44. @figgy - true dat. I was just hoping that it might catch on. Good looking cast that can actually act. It's rare on the CW ;)

    ReplyDelete
  45. @Liz - says 'new' network show. Lost is in it's sixth and final season.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Remember when this blind used to be Lolita and heroes? Ahhh, those were the days.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Going with the Modern Family guess & trying to think like a 19yo again...I am going to say it's Burrell. He's just more attractive. Plus, they seem to work in closer proximity to one another, if imdb photos ar any indication...http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1712557568/nm0123092

    ReplyDelete
  48. it's Burrell and he totally has a B list body of work: dawn of the dead, in good company, friends with money, national treasure, the incredible hulk. thats a solid B.

there is no way it's Ed, he wouldn't put in the effort to impress a 19 year old at the ripe old age of 64.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I like the Deep End Billy Zane guess, but I have to say that the show sucks something awful

    ReplyDelete
  50. I was under the impression that Zane wasn't that in to women.

    ReplyDelete
  51. "I thought of The Good Wife, but the girl who plays the daughter is just 16 (and looks younger if you ask me; I really hope it's not her). Also, there doesn't seem to be an actor who fits the description (married and C list)."

    what about chris noth?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Gilmore Girls is way better than Life Unexpected.

    ReplyDelete
  53. 1. Community
    2. Chevy Chase (C list now, but B back in the day)
    3. The actress who plays Britta?

I'm trying to convince myself it's not Modern Family related!

    ReplyDelete
  54. @childeroland - yes, but a girl can dream.
