Popbitch is a British pixelrag. Soho is in London. The description "wholesome, well-fed and happily married TV star..." coupled with "loose lips (and tongues)" are strongly suggestive of the self-declared "Minister of Food".
I find it interesting that at the start of the blind it pretty much writes it of as a "rumour" (BTW rumour with the U in it means British or possibly Canadian)
So basically all this site is posting is something that someone said with absolutely no verification whatsoever and no way for the victim of the "rumour" to defend himself. He can't sue since his name wasn't mentioned, and since the piece is qualified as a "rumour" even if he did sue, he wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
It reminds me of the gerbil rumor of a certain actor from years ago that he still can't shake even though it was completely untrue yet people believed despite the fact that it was so outrageous and physically impossible.
Someone has it in for this guy and is spreading lies I believe.
'cos he's a celebrity. 'cos the distinctions between different media segments are diminishing each day. 'cos he's known to be passionate about music. 'cos he used to be in a band?

I'm still not convinced myself. It seems *so* unlikely. But then don't a lot of these at first?
