NY Post Blind Items
Which aspiring socialite did the same kind of electronic spying that got Ali Wise in trouble, but managed to avoid prosecution? This lucky woman got caught hacking into the voice mails of her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend and could have gone to jail since she was on probation for a previous legal problem. But she turned on the charm so her love rival wouldn't press charges, and now they are actually friends.
No offense, but who gives a crap about "socialites"? They aren't celebrities and most of them I've never heard of.
ReplyDeleteWhy even acknowledge them? Do we really need more Paris Hiltons famous for no fucking reason?

ReplyDeleteI don't understand the whole socialites thing. If they all fell off the earth tommorrow I could care less. And NO - I don't want to be one.
ReplyDeleteOlivia Palermo. That's all I've got
ReplyDeleteAgree with 0. I've been noticing a lot of "socialite" blinds lately and I just.don't.care.

ReplyDeleteI haven't read Vogue in over 10 years for that very reason. They always do these features on New York parties, and I didn't know who 3/4 of the people in the photos were. Vogue had this tone of, you're nobody if you don't know who the fuck they are.
ReplyDeleteI'm supposed to care about people *I* think are nobodies? And Vogue wonders why their "exclusive" magazine isn't selling? Blech!
what is an "aspiring socialite" anyway? someone who wishes he/she was important?
ReplyDeleteKim Kardashian is proud of the fact that she can hack into just about any voice mail.
ReplyDelete"aspiring socialite" = wannabee snob.
ReplyDeleteAgree with 0, she should not even be rewarded with recognition.
I think this is just a business move, trying to draw in a wider audience, rather than appealling to the core constiuants. But publicizing those particular people is really distasteful.
