More Rehab For Brooke Mueller
I wonder if I can do ten posts today on celebrities going to rehab. That being said, Brooke Mueller being a celebrity is at the very edge of what makes a celebrity. Just being married to someone shouldn't make you a celebrity. Be that as it may, Brooke has been turned into a celebrity, or at least someone we stare at and wonder what she will do next. Unlike her husband, Brooke apparently feels that rehab is necessary and has checked into one in Malibu because everyone gets better in Malibu. I guess the one on the Atlantic Ocean didn't take, so thinks the Pacific is what she needs. If she is in rehab for herself and not as some kind of dodge to help Charlie get off on his felony charges in Aspen then I applaud her. I don't know if it will stick though if the guy who you are married to isn't also going to do something about his drinking. You will be trying to get sober and your husband will be drinking right in front of you every day. Not a good way to get sober. At least though if he pulls a knife on you and goes for your throat you will be sober while you are facing it this time.
What did she want? to change him? Charlie Sheen is being charlie sheen, she should pull it together and separate
ReplyDeleteWhy are you so sure that this is some nefarious plan on Charlie Sheen's part? Brooke has entered rehab before she even met Charlie for crack addiction. She has just had pneumonia (which can be a result of either hardcore alcoholism or crack use). And I listened to the 911 calls and, flame me if you'd like, she sounded like she was faking. Charlie Sheen is no angel by any means, but Brooke seems like an opportunist with lots of addiction problems. Hopefully, she can get the help she needs. If getting away from Charlie's household would help, great, but I doubt that he is forcing liquor bottles and crack pipes in her face 24/7.
ReplyDeletei'm with michael. the sense i'm getting with every item about them here is that it all leads back to charlie. i don't believe that.
ReplyDeleteas for what good does it do her to get sober if charlie doesn't? well, you get sober for yourself. then with clear eyes, you can assess your associations and sometimes that means getting someone out of your life that you know will be detrimental to your sobriety. i hope for the sake of those kids, this 'takes' and she does that.
Etta James also slipped into rehab for prescription drugs and addiction to pain killers recently, but developed other health problems which required hospitalization. That's why we were told about the addiction prob. Damn a former long-term heroin addict, then this crap later on in her life.
ReplyDeleteShe has true talent, and she is in my prayers.
Should have read:
ReplyDelete...for addiction to prescription drugs and OTC meds...
"'Well why didn't you go into rehab?' We didn't have rehab back in the seventies. Back in the seventies rehab meant you'd stop doing coke, but you kept smoking pot and drinking for a couple more weeks. You know? "Yeah, give me a case of Budweiser and an ounce. I gotta slow down! Jesus Christ! I'm outta control. Look at the size of my pants for Christ's sake!"
ReplyDelete- Denis Leary (from "No Cure For Cancer"). All the rehab talk made me think of it.
That is all
They should both be seeking help together. This is ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteCharlie definately needs some rehab for anger management. The clock is ticking on this relationship.
ReplyDeleteI like Evil Reese's dress in this pic.
ReplyDeleteI like the suggestion I read earlier that these two oughta drop the kids off on Denise Richards' doorstep.
ReplyDeleteConsidering the fact that Denise was snapped doing coke on the beach, I think the kids should go to Charlie's brother, Emilio, or foster care. Also, Enty insinuated that Brooke's family is taking Charlie's side because of money. Did it ever occur to him that her family made those comments because they know the truth about Brooke's problems and want her to get help and not alienate the one person who can afford to get her the BEST help available?
ReplyDeleteI also don't think Charlie is the lone bad guy in this relationship. He has major problems, which are made worse by the fact that he seems compelled to seek out women that bring out the worst in him. He's a trainwreck who attracts and is attracted to other trainwrecks. I think they deserve each other and that one day some gossip site will be posting stories about their trainwreck children. Those kids are screwed both genetically and environmentally.
ReplyDeleteGiving the kids to Denise was a joke.
ReplyDeleteOh blondy, I know. I saw that on D-listed. I was joking about Emilio. I probably should have separated that comment from the rest of the comment. Oh, and I agree with RJ. BOTH of these people need rehab and therapy.
ReplyDeleteCharlie is a woman-beating demon and I don't care what anyone says about him not being the 'lone bad guy' or whatever. He hit her and deserves to sit in a jail and rot a bit. Douche!
