Lindsay Lohan Passes Up $150,000 Payday - Michael & Dina Cry
I guess Lindsay Lohan is so flush with cash that she passed up $150,000 for one day of work and a free trip to Austria. For weeks now, Lindsay has been scheduled to go to Vienna and their famous Opera Ball as the date of Richard Lugner. He is very rich and owns some stores and each year ticks off the people of Vienna by inviting the D list flavor of the year. In the past it has included Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton and other people we wish didn't live here any longer. The job consists of signing autographs at one of his stores for a few hours followed by attending the Opera Ball. For this, the D lister gets paid $150,000. It is just a publicity stunt and Richard has his daughter and his girlfriend (above with Richard and a photo of Lindsay) pick the person out. Most of the time he has no idea who they even are.
Well, Lugner announced today that Lindsay bailed out on him at the last minute so Lugner is actually going to take a male German singer named Dieter Bohlen instead. There must be something wrong with Lindsay because it is tough to walk away from $150K. Maybe she is afraid she will get drunk and be in a foreign country and get caught on tape sucking down booze. There is no way she is making enough money to be passing up this kind of payday without some other reason. Meanwhile all those things that Michael & Dina were probably planning to buy after Lindsay got paid will have to wait.
oh well
ReplyDeleteso, for the first time she doesn't want to be the clown in the room. Good for her!! --but I guess that means that we'll have to see and/or hear about a new frangance, fashion line or whatever it's IN right now so she can get some cash...Too bad for us :(
ReplyDeleteWhat I read is that she missed her plane and wouldn't pay for a new flight and had an outrageous list of demands including keeping alcohol away from her (lo - what?!? Lindsay LOHAN??), buying her a new dress, etc. He has taken some low-class women to this in the past (Paris Hilton and Pam Anderson, anyone??) so for him to finally draw the line at Lindsay's bullshit says something.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it was hard for her to walk away from $150K if coke and booze were in the next room. They were a shorter walk.
ReplyDeleteshe couldn't find a dealer in Vienna that would approve her credit.
ReplyDeleteanother waste of space.....why do people still try to hire her? The last time she did anything decent was what..Mean Girls? I'm 37 and I look 20 years younger than she does. There are hundreds of more talented, less alcoholic/drugged women just waiting for a chance at stardom. I say she goes to obscurity along with her parents, The Hiltons, the Kardashians, the Speidis, etc..... give someone else a chance.
ReplyDeleteI keep looking at that woman and the phrase "his daughter and his girlfriend" echoes in my brain. You gotta remember, Austria last year had not just one but two hideous incest stories. Oy vey!
ReplyDeleteI thought the $150k was actually going to the cost of the private jet and now he's after her to pay it back since she missed the flight and bailed on the event. Was it going directly to her? Also read that the US airline tried to charge her $22k fine for stalling the commercial flight and she didn't have a credit card able to pay it - hhahahahahahah.
ReplyDeletelol..ya there is a lot of incest all over the world, i don't think the Austrian's have the corner market.
ReplyDeleteUh, excuse me, Dieter Bohlen was only in one of the best Europop bands EVAR!

They were kind of the german version of Hall & Oates. In other words; AWESOME.
people turn down all kinds of awesome things for the pursuit of drugs. it's not like this is the first time for her...
ReplyDeleteShe planned on wearing her Mother's line of shoes, but that fell through so she had nothing to go with her gown. Plus, she shouldn't have to pay him back. He should've expected things to go to shit when dealing with her.
ReplyDelete$150,000 for a "date" with this rich old dude. Yeah its all a PR thing for him but it sure smacks of prostitution for old Lindsay anyway.
ReplyDeleteThe fact no one would accept her credit is laughable too. Poor Lins, has to give up her nice fat check for a whole lot of nuthin!
Please make her just go away. Why isn't there a retirement community for useless celebs?
the best part of this story isn't in the blind. the part about british airways holding a flight for her, which she showed up 2 hours late for, and then not having a credit card with a high enough limit to pay the fine of 22 g's.
ReplyDeletewhat a worthless little piece of shit she is.
Lindsey & her shameless attention-seeking whores that call themselves "parents" are really annoying group of ppl. I'm sure a lot of the dirt that is said about them is true or at least has a strain of truth. However, this one story I am having a bit of a problem with.
ReplyDeleteFor real tho, how many of you out there have ever heard of a commercial flight waiting a few minutes much less 2 hrs. for a passenger to get on board? No matter who they are. I'm calling b.s. on that aspect of the story. Not defending any of her ridic shenanigans by any means, I just find that part of the story to be as fishy as it smells between this skank's legs. And I just made a not so pretty picture in my head by typing that. Ewww.
Doesn't everyone know you're not supposed to tell the skank *before* the Skanker's Ball the only reason they're invited is 'cause they're a skank?
ReplyDeleteAnd in this case, a skank of world-wide proportions?

She'd have won for sure!
"inviting the D list flavor of the year"??? Really??? His choises in past were not only Paris Hilton and Pamela, but also Sophia Loren, Farahh Fawcet, Joan Collins, Faye Dunaway and other actresses. And last year it was Nicolette Sheridan. And btw Dieter Bohlen of Mordern Talking has a singing career of probably 20 years and hit singles all over Europe
ReplyDeleteWhat Allison said!
ReplyDeleteHard to believe a flight was held for Blohan, (although Nancer did write that that the flight was held and that she showed up 2 hours late, not that the flight was held for 2 hours).
Either way, what a loser!
Yes - if BA really did that, and I was a passenger on that plane, I'd be suing their asses off. Someone should specify the flight number so all the passengers could get together for a nice class-action lawsuit...
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious! Dieter Bohlen ist the German equivalent to Simon Cowell, which makes this story so much more fun.
