Italy is for lovers and also it looks like for family reunions. Brangelina is pulling out all the stops in their press parade as this weekend, Jon Voight was photographed reuniting with his estranged daughter Angelina Jolie and what looks like Zahara. Of course all the tabloids are saying that it is Brad Pitt who arranged it all and kept telling Angelina to reunited with her father. Meh, I don't really know if he did but who is going to say he didn't. What I do know is that Jon should probably keep his mouth shut this time about what goes on with his daughter and her family or he might never get another reunion.

ReplyDeleteHate to say it, but that's gotta be it. Given their estrangement over the years, that's about the only thing that'll have this happening.
I hate being morbid, however I'm willing to bet a jelly filled donut I'm right.
I find it amusing that they roll out ole Gramps when there are all those breakup rumors going around.

I always found their enstrangement odd since neither one will actually mention the true cause of it. Leading gossips and bloggers to speculate everything from abandonement, sexual abuse, child abuse, etc as the cause. If anybody knows anything please share.
ReplyDeleteI agree if the dumb neocon had respected his daughters privacy the estrangement wouldn't have happened in the first place. He's really not a very smart man, so I expect this to be short lived.

ReplyDeleteEvery time I've seen this photo this weekend I've wondered at the look on Voight's face. Gpa looks pizzed to me. That is a grimace if I ever saw one.

ReplyDeleteI think JV had to do a lot of groveling and is now making sure to shut his mouth...apparently they have been in contact for awhile now, supposedly he spent the holidays with them & disputed claims that they were on the rocks.
ReplyDeleteEveryone has speculated, but I think she's even said herself that he embarrassed her by annoucing publicly that she needed mental help, and also told the paps that she was adopting a child. He couldn't keep his mouth shut and as a result she cut him out of her life.
I wonder if he still calls Zahara "Shakira"? lul

It smells like they're really trying to promote the "happy family" image to me...I really don't care one way or the other about Brangelina, but man we've been seeing photo after photo of them all together after months of very few pictures of the whole family...and now, Grandpa Voight is being trotted out for pictures with them, too...I think this is all part of a publicity campaign to quell those rumors. Hmm.
ReplyDeleteThey actually reunited almost two years ago -after her mom's death. That's why Jon has been fairly quiet with his comments on Angelina. But this is the first time they've been photographed together in eight years.
