Jackson Family Upset At Charges Against Dr. Murray

Yesterday the Jackson family was out in full force for Dr. Conrad Murray's appearance in court. Of course they were. I mean there were cameras there. No cameras would have meant no Jacksons. Don't agree? On the Saturday prior to the Grammy Awards, Michael was given a lifetime achievement award. Because there were no cameras, Michael's long time manager had to accept the award. The next night with the cameras around is when Michael's family showed up.

Yesterday, Dr. Murray plead not guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson. Katherine Jackson called him a "monster." She said this of course while standing next to Joe Jackson. Talk about f**king blinders. Meanwhile LaToya says that Dr. Murray is a murderer and she won't rest until she finds all the killers and brings them to justice. Either that or when the reality cameras stop rolling. Do I think Dr. Murray contributed to the death of Michael? Sure. But, I also think Michael bears a hell of a lot of responsibility for his own death. He wasn't stupid. He knew what drugs he was taking. I'm guessing he knew the risks. Where was his family when he was taking all of these drugs? They didn't care as long as the Michael allowance train was running full speed ahead. Now though they have to rely on exploiting his death to make money. Oh, and Katherine saying that Joseph should get an allowance from the Estate every month would probably make Michael's skin crawl.

  1. Sure Michael should shoulder some of the responsibility, HOWEVER, he was not a doctor and couldn't prescribe medication to himself. The doctor who gave him the drugs should face some jail time for involuntary manslaughter, and at the very least lose his license to practice medicine. There's such thing as ethics, you know.

  2. Katherine needs to be reminded that Micheal didn't leave jacksh** to his dad because Michael hated him. That whole family is a pack of hyenas dressed in sparklies and glitter. >:(

  5. the family is fucking delusional.
    let. it. go.

Michael Jackson was a DRUG ADDICT,plain and simple, with a doctor on the take. and if it weren't Dr. Murray,it would be some other hack. it's not murder, it was gross negligence and malpractice.

  6. I think he was charged appropriately - involuntary manslaughter. Does anyone really think he intended to kill Michael? Everyone pleads "not guilty" at first in hopes they can work out a deal - it's just the way our system works. I think the most important thing is that he needs to permanently lose his license to practice medicine.

  7. michael can shoulder some blame but not much. THIS man is a licensed physician. as such, he should've said a loud "NO" when asked to administer an anesthetic at home as a sleep aid. 'first, do no harm' and all that shit.

i don't think this is murder but surely it's something worse than involuntary manslaughter. murray gave a drug that is NEVER, EVER to be used outside of an operating room. it's not a 'sedative', for christsake. when it's given in the OR, it's under carefully monitored circumstances, and resuscitation equipment is within reach.

he gave it, and then he compounded the horror of that by leaving jackson in bed, unconscious and unattended!

until authorities get serious (especially in la-la land) about these medical mercenaries and mete out some real justice, shit like this will continue to happen. it makes me SICK.

  8. LOL Sue Ellen. I actually think they look like little Pomeranian turds carefully balanced on his head. :-)

  9. Michael was an adult and he made the choice to be a drug addict. I don't care if the fucking pope administered the shit. It's no ones fault but his own. Period. End of story.

  10. So sick of poor, poor Michael Jackson. It'd be nice to now how many doctors he did fire because they said no. He knew with his money (or his ability to make money), his fame and power he could get whatever he wanted. And he demanded that particular drug, as I believe the "nutritionist" had said. He knew he'd eventually get a doctor who'd prescribe it. Sure, the involuntary manslaughter charge was an appropriate sentence for this doctor, or any doctor who was unwilling to pass up the bucks and his Hippocratic oath to let a patient tell him what to do. Michael was a self-absorbed, arrogant drug addict who thought he knew what was best for his body and he paid the price for it. So did his kids. The only ones who are benefiting are the rest of the Jacksons.

  11. Nancer -- I agree with all you have said but also feel that Michael Jackson did have a role and some responsibility in his own demise.

However, nothing excuses Dr. Murray's actions because he should have known better... and what he did was against the law. I hope they take away his license to practice medicine.

The rest of the Jacksons are hovering around Michael's estate like a bunch of vampires. I am glad that my family is not like them AT ALL.

  12. It's a sad statement when a drug-addicted, self-mutilating pedophile is the most sympathetic person in a family.

  17. Katherine probably wants Joe to get an allowance so that he isn't demanding money from her directly.

In regards to Michael and Dr. Conrad Murray Enty you asked where was the family when this was going on? They actually tried and intervention years ago and Michael got angry and banned them from his home. So they knew he was a serious drug addict but their hands were tied.

I agree that Dr. Murray's license should be taken away from him. I also agree with the other posters who say he should not be charged with murder.

Gross negligence would also be appropriate if that is a possible charge.

  18. I agree with the manslaughter charge. He shouldn't hae been administering a drug that strong without the proper monitering equipment. The coroner found the only other cases that there was prothynl administered at home was in fatal cases. That alone says to me "danger". He took an oath to help others. That oath is broken when you enable drug addicts.

Aren't the mother and that lazy bum Joseph divorced? What is wrong with Michael's mother. She knows their is a reason her son didn't have his father in the will. So why is she not following his will to the "T"?

  20. These doctors have been getting away with this for too long. It's time to shut them down. If bartenders are held libel for serving drunks, then these unethical doctors who push pills to drug addicts should be held libel as well.

    Enough is enough!

  21. Okay so I just found out that gross negligence is identified as involuntary manslaughter. The doctor could only be slapped with a murder charge if there was evidence of "intent to kill". He has no motive and murder can not be proved therefore that charge is not an option.

I wonder if the Jackson clan believes they'll get more money from someone if there's a murder charge?

  22. i just find this sitch so sad. its so grotesque to me, the way everyone except really janet and the that other girl, in the family are being so fame whorelike. I totally get that this was how they were like all along but to be so obvious, to literally seem like vultures circling a decaying carcus is utterly stomach churning for me.
it just makes me feel sorryier and sorrier for mj.
    rip michael

  23. penelope, i said there's blame on michael too.

but michael jackson's dead. he's not being charged in court with a crime. he was ALLOWED to abuse countless drugs by physicians who knew better and enabled him anyway.

if conrad murray MD would've said "NO, i will not do this. it could be fatal and i will not take part in this", his ass wouldn't be charged with ANY crime at all.

people can say all day long that it's all michael's fault, but he wasn't the one writing the prescriptions for drugs he used to slowly kill himself---and in this case injecting him with them.

this clown murray killed him with that propofol as surely as if he'd put a bullet in his brain.
