I Love Happy Endings

Jesse James got his dog Cinnabun back. The dog which had been missing for three weeks was presumed to never be coming back home, but Cinnabun was found by a woman in Los Angeles and brought her back to Jesse. I'm hoping that she got a free copy of Miss Congeniality 2 for her effort. Seriously. That was great and I do love happy endings, especially when it is owners being reunited with their pets. Click here for the whole story and lots more pictures.

  2. Well, I'm glad he was reunited with his buddy, but it never ceases to amaze and disgust me that people will let their faces be that close to, and often licked by, a dog's mouth *HORF*.

  3. does anyone know how this dog got lost to begin with? i hope jesse's more careful in the future is all i'm saying. he's very, very lucky this dog didn't end up dead or stolen by someone and used for fighting.

as for doggy kisses, if you don't like them, don't get them. but don't knock those of us who do.

  4. If I lost my dog, I'd go insane. I love her to death, but I don't let her mouth anywhere near my face - I know what she puts into it. Puke! (No, I mean literally, she eats puke. Apparently my neighborhood has a lot of drunks.)

My Taterbug hugs me the exact same way, and yes I let her give me kisses ;)

  7. We had a cat missing for like 10 days. He got shut up in a neighbors garage and the neighbor went on vacation. It was so awesome to have him turn out to be alive, albeit very skinny.

  8. cinnabun, what a darling name! They both look so happy :-)

I try not to let my 3 dogs lick me, but sometimes they sneak one in. Especially in the morning in bed while I'm still waking up. Yes, they sleep in bed with me.

  9. I'm definitely in the "if it licks it's own genitals, it's not licking my face" group.
But on topic, so happy to see that reunion pic! :)

  11. Now that is one happy dog! Puppeh! My dog kissed me once. He does rub his face on me, like a cat. I think his cat brothers taught him that.

  12. Those pictures are great. The look on both their faces is priceless, that dog adores Jesse, and it's definately mutual. I love him.

  13. Cinnabun has exactly the same colour/markings as my Bruiser - but not as pretty a face, sorry.

Glad he got his dog back though!

And I'm in the 'dogs do not lick my face' group.

  14. I let my stepson's dogs lick me every once in a while, but yeah, they lick whatever and where-ever, and I don't want that staying on me!

My 6 month old cat licks me in the morning when she wants me to get the hell up, but I'm usually too tired to swat her away. ;)

I'm really glad the pooch is home. I had a cat run away, only to get hit by a car, and it's beyond heartbreaking. That's why I'm so happy to hear this turned out well.

  15. I saw this on the news last night! So happy to hear that. Yay for Cinnabun. haha

My dogs are my babies. They sleep with me and are spoiled rotten. I don't mind the doggie kisses but I don't really let them lick my face either.

  16. Love that photo -- that dog clearly loves him, and he's holding that dog is a way that only someone who always holds that pup like that could
