Today's Blind Items
I guess this actor used to be B list. In a technical sense he might have been an A lister in television. He is a C now. I don't think once you have risen as high as he was that you can ever go down to D. Anyway, our actor who has been around for awhile has a bit of a booze problem. OK, a big booze problem. Well he decided to take his child/dren to a premiere and got absolutely hammered out of his mind on booze. He then got hot and had his shirt unbuttoned and open and was just a mess. Someone from the studio took him home but it was really embarrassing.
the Hoff?
ReplyDeleteThe Hoff?
ReplyDeleteaffleck?
ReplyDeletemy guess exactly, the hoff? he seems like the type who would unbutton his shirt to show off his manly chest.
ReplyDeletedisregard. Not enough tv for affleck
ReplyDeleteI thought the Hoff too, but I don't think it would be a blind if it was him. The fact that he has relapsed yet again has been all over the tabs lately, hasn't it?
ReplyDeleteIs the hoff being drunk even worthy of a blind anymore?
ReplyDeletedoes david spade have children? if not, charlie sheen ftw.
ReplyDeleteI think it's the Hoff, but I think it's blind only because it's the behind-the-scenes stuff that gets swept under the rug for too long with certain celebrities. Enty is just letting us in on one that slipped past the MSM. IMO.
ReplyDeleteCharlie Sheen is not C-list. He is the highest paid tv-actor.
ReplyDeleteHoff was my firstand only thought
ReplyDeleteHas to be the Hoff. Who would want to look at that without a shirt.
ReplyDeleteAshton?
ReplyDeleteDuchovny?

ReplyDeleteOnly reason I don't think it's hoff is because his kids were the one who exposed his problem. Can't see him being that stupid with them around.
ReplyDeleteProbably not Ashton but I don't think it's him either.
Who went from A to C in a heartbeat?
What? The daughter didn't video tape this?
ReplyDeleteDavid needs some serious lockdown
please....Its NOT the Hoff.
ReplyDeleteEnty wouldn't even bother with a blind on him, that would just be ridiculous at this point. (imho)
what about Matt Leblanc?
ReplyDeleteMatt LeBlanc? Or would he be considered D list now?... I'm probably wrong - just throwing a name out there!
ReplyDeleteKelsey Grammer?
ReplyDeleteIt's probably the Hoff, and this ain't aa blind.
ReplyDeletei think matt leBlanc is a GREAT guess! He has a new show coming out so he's been around making appearances, etc. I think he has a kid/kids. off to check...
ReplyDeletewhat about keifer sutherland?
ReplyDeleteGeorge Wendt
ReplyDeleteor
John Goodman
or
Kelsey Grammer
Someone like that. I don't think it's the Hoff. Too obvious and I think Enty would phrase the clues differently -- repeat offender, big in Germany, etc.
I thought of Keifer.I've heard he is a sloppy and angry drunk.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason David Caruso popped into my head for this one.
ReplyDeleteHarry Hamlin

ReplyDeletethis is totally Kiefer Sutherland. Known alcoholic, used to be A list (kinda) back in the 80's is on 24 and has kid/s
ReplyDeleteI like the Matt LeBlanc guess, but Keifer would work, too. Hmm. Who else?
ReplyDeleteThe dude that played Joey from Friends?
ReplyDeleteI want to change my guess and go with Kiefer.
ReplyDeleteMatt LeBlanc is divorced. His wife, has a daughter from a previous relationship. He's is long thought to be in the closet.
ReplyDeleteKeifer Sutherland is twice divorced with one adult daughter.
I don't think this fits either of them.
Matt LeBlanc
ReplyDeleteAgree it's not the Hoff. This would have been a blind for him, like, 5 years ago.
ReplyDeleteI'll throw something really bizarre out there: what about Danny Bonaduce? The Partridge Family would have been A list back in the day.
Booze hound.
Thinks his body is the bomb.
I think Enty would give him a pass on slipping down to D just on name recognition alone.
thought matt leblanc had one child with his ex as well as stepchild/ren?
ReplyDeleteNick Nolte
ReplyDeleteA lister who's risen high...This ain't the Hoff. Like the Danny Bonaduce guess. David Caruso was never A list in my book. Can't stand that ginge!
ReplyDeleteMatt LeBlanc did have a child with his ex wife, but doesn't the child have medical problems? I think she's about four.
ReplyDeleteStraight away I thought David Duchovony for some reason. He used to be a film star, then went to TV and his status has dropped. I remmeber he was once sexy too!
ReplyDeletehttp://sexiestmen100.blogspot.com/
No way it's Kiefer Sutherland. Enty wants to call this guy a D and there is no way Kiefer is lower than a B with 24.
ReplyDeleteJust for something new -- what about Anthony Edwards? He's been around for a while. 4 kids.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, he is a Golden Globe winner, so does that preclude becoming "C" list?
How about someone from Seinfeld (George or Kramer)?
ReplyDeleteThe first one that came to mind was Tim Allen.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking maybe Jason Alexander from Seinfeld
ReplyDeleteit's the hoff, and it's an easy one for enty to reveal in july.

ReplyDeleteI don't the hoff was ever considered A list, but even if he was, he isn't really C either.
ReplyDeleteI'm going with Kelsey Grammar...known problem with booze, has children young enough to accompany them to a movie, and has several Emmy's so would have been A for television. Done nothing successful since Frasier, so could be considered C right now and never a D.
I was thinking Rob Lowe. But is he A-list in TV?
ReplyDeleteIf not him, I'm with Kiefer.
I might have guessed someone like Danson, except he's got a show on now. hmmmm....
ReplyDeleteI could go with Grammar, or how about Danny DeVito? Also has a history with public boozing, and I believe has several children. Remember his guest shot on the View? (I think it was The View....). sorta stoned acting. said he was out late with Clooney and lemincello. Am I remembering right?
ReplyDeleteOr, Woody Harrelson? but he's also film.
ReplyDeleteYour memory is correct re: DD, ms snarky.
ReplyDeleteHas to be my beloved Hoff. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteNOT Woody! He has a major hit film - The Messenger (and has had many others recently).
ReplyDeleteCertainly not Keifer - he may be a lush, but not a C list lush.
Not sure why but I thought of Ted Danson. I'm sue that's far off the mark though. Only other person who came to mind was the Hoff, but really, that's not a blind lol.
ReplyDeletesure, not sue. Gah!
ReplyDeleteBob Saget?
ReplyDeletearen't the hoff's kids a little old to be called "child/ren"? "kid/s" maybe.
ReplyDeleteand i know the booze is free, but it's hard to get enough booze at a premier to get that hammered. maybe he had all his assistants waiting in line for him, too.
I'm gonna guess Goran Visnjic from ER.
ReplyDeleteDon Johnson.
ReplyDeleteNot Kiefer; When was he ever and A lister in Television?? No shows in the 80's-90's right? Only movies.
ReplyDeleteHoff is a given guess, and I tend to think some of these blinds are just that easy.
Grammar is a good guess as well...but I think he is permanent A or B list.
I'm going for The Hoff FTW - Only because the description fits him to a tee. Definitely C or even D right now.
The first one that came to my mind was Richard Dean Anderson. A lister in a "technical sense".
ReplyDeleteThe Hoff was totally TV A list when he had his Kit car show...what was that called?
ReplyDeleteHoff is a mess.

ReplyDeleteHeeeyyyyyy... are you guys hasseling the Hoff??
ReplyDelete"Technical sense" could mean he did a lot of television in Germany = The Hoff.
ReplyDeleteChevy Chase
ReplyDeleteGotta be the Hoff.
ReplyDeleteA lister in TV due to Baywatch.
Known issues with alcohol, and wasn't there a pic recently in the tabs (and here) with his shirt open at a premiere?
No way Leblanc is a permanent C lister, or even an A at any time.
Personally, I'd put him at B during "Friends" and D list now due to lack of work, but B list with name recognition factor.
Kelsey Grammar, possibly but I hesitate at calling him a C lister, probably permanent B lister due to "Cheers" and "Frasier" and his voice work.
Keifer? Also known alcohol issues, however the listing factor kind of removes him from consideration.
"24" puts him at A list imho, especially since it's still active and popular, despite his antics.
Besides, Enty would probably have thrown in a royalty reference due to his father.
Never D list?
ReplyDeleteMaybe David D - X-Files was huge.
I like the Don Johnson guess too..
Not Kelsey Grammar--he was DEFINITELY A while Frasier was on. That show was huge!
ReplyDelete@Melo - I was considering Dean Anderson too - switching my guess because I like the "technical" clue!
