Random Photos Part One

Pernell Roberts - RIP
James Mitchell - RIP
Randomness of the day with Adrien Brody and Michael Chiklis.
Ben Affleck looks a little stressed. It was during this red carpet encounter that he basically threw Jennifer under a bus for revealing too much of their personal life in an interview with Parade. This of course is the same guy who paraded around with Jennifer Lopez like an ass for so long.
I know people have high hopes but to me Wolfman just seems like a Twilight extension. Nevertheless, Benicio del Toro and Emily Blunt are peddling it across Europe right now.
Worst movie of the year so far at Sundance? You guessed it. Bill Pullman and Jessica Alba in Killer Inside Me.
Gerard Butler and his dog. Obvious I know. Although it could be a dog who just decided to follow him down the street.
Most of the time I think wax figures look pretty close or capture the essence of a person. I don't see it in this Heidi Klum one. To me she looks more like Vanna White.
Josh Duhamel is a queen. Who knew?
Joseph Gordon Levitt finally getting the attention he deserves.
Jon Hamm and beer.
I can't believe I am going to say this, but I really like this picture of Juliette Lewis.
Congratulations to James McAvoy and Anne-Marie Duff who are expecting their first baby.
Katie Holmes at Sundance. Meanwhile back in LA
Tom actually did a stunt. Notice the two guns for maximum maleness.
The cordless phone holster kind of ruins the effect but whatever.
Reach for it Tom. If you can't make it then it must because you have been hanging out with people not good for you and will need extra auditing time.
Looks high up.
He caught it.
My favorite photo in the set. He comes face to face with Xenu.
"It was no big deal Cameron. Like I said, I work out."
KISS at the New York Stock Exchange. How much do they charge for letting people do this kind of thing?
Yes, I know. I agree. It is hard to believe this man is married to Phoebe Cates.
One of the free t-shirts Russell Brand used to hand out to his companions. Katy Perry has one now.
Kristen Stewart, Joan Jett, Dakota Fanning and Cherie Currie at Sundance and The Runaways premiere.
LeAnn Rimes - Park City
Yeah, yeah, Maks. Happy 30th birthday (yeah right) What I care about is the cakes are from Cold Stone. So hungry.
So, is this a scarf or a tie or just orphaned socks from Orlando Bloom's dryer?
Ozzy signing his new book.
No money, no problem. Apparently this machine accepts Ryan Gosling signatures in exchange for product.
Tilda Swinton has agreed to portray Conan O'Brien in the late night wars movie someone will inevitably make. She really will.

  1. Ooh - thanks for James McEvoy.

Totally funny about Tilda Swinton and I am now a fan.

    What was that about Affleck?

  2. if kevin kline had on a suit, he'd look great. he looks homeless in this picture.
love juliette lewis. she's nuts and owns it.
joseph gordon levitt doesn't get nearly enough love, i agree. i hate romantic movies but '500 days of summer' was just adorable. not cheesy---very sweet.
    HI, VIC MACKEY!!!! MISS YOU!!!!

  3. I agree that wax statue does Heidi NO justice. It looks kind of like Mandy Moore?!

    ReplyDelete
  4. I am sensing a reveal via Josh Duhamel....

    I love Ozzy.

That wax figure looks more like Anna Lynne McCord or whatever her name is than Heidi. Eek.

  5. i too missed the parade interview. apparently, she said he 'wooed' her with emails. when asked about it, this is what he said:

“I do write e-mails to my wife, that is true. Sounds like the kind of thing that my wife was looking for something to say in the interview… and that’s what she came up with. So, thanks for that, because now here I am, doing another interview and then they ask me about that. So, thank you honey.”

  6. Is that John Slattery with Jon Hamm?

  7. 'Killer Inside Me?' Seriously, that's the title? Ugh.

If you want to see a trailer for the BEST movie at Sundance, it's here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nx0GaB2EHUs

  8. That little girl looking up at Josh is just precious. Too cute.

  9. Mooshki, that trailer was great.

  10. The Killer Inside Me is one of the greatest books of all time and if you are not familiar with Jim Thompson you should really check it out. It's a quick read.

(I am a huge JT fan and spent the 1990s/the money I made from my first real job tracking down first editions of his work.)

It should NEVER have been made into this abortion of a movie. Needs more restraint, subtlety, and mystery. SHOW DON'T TELL.

  11. Ozzy has left the bldg.

    Dear Adrien Brody,

    I love you. Marry me.

  12. The madame did not do a good job with Heidi.

    Good-bye Palmer Courtland.

    I love Kevin Kline.

    Happy b'day Maks.

  13. I once stood watch while a friend helped Joey Gordon Levitt's mom sneak him into the front hall bathroom at NBC. He was a little kid and until the week before had been on one of their programs. They wouldn't even let him use the bathroom. That's loyalty in Hollywood for ya.

  14. Sad about Pernell Roberts
I saw Josh Duhamel on Regis and Kelly this morning. He was doing his Ed Grimley impersonation with Martin Short. It was hilarious.

  15. Yeah Pug!!! Yeah Gerard! I always thought you were cute, now that I know we can have pugdates, you're all mine!

  16. Heidi's wax statue looked like Kate Bosworth to me (with boobs).

  18. OMG Enty, did you seriously just use Joseph Gordon-Levitt, James McAvoy and Ryan Gosling all in the same post!? With a side of SWINTON (cause she's a bad mamma jamma), you have made my day.

    I thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Ditto Paisley, looks like John and Jon to me too. What's with the beards?

    Love Tilda!

Several Cold Stones' near me have closed recently. The local paper now lists business closures online. Very sad.

RIP Palmer Cortland. I was so addicted to AMC during the Cliff/Nina era and Mr. Mitchell's performances were great to watch.

  20. Psstt...Gerard...it's called a leash. Use one.

  21. IMO, the real Runaways look better than their younger film counterparts.

  22. #2 & 3 - This female former A list singer who will permanently be a B because of her name came home the other day to find her celebrity boyfriend in bed (technically on a sofa, but what they were doing is usually found in the bedroom) with another guy. She didn't care though because our singer had a girl for herself who she had brought home.

Is that the Josh/queen reference?? Wait they are married, right??

  23. Oh how i miss the cold stone candy land! *drool*

I actually kind of like Stewart, but I am not sure, it might just be a reaction to how perez hates on her all the time. just too rude.

I think that IS John s next to Hamm! Did they grow identical beards? That is just hilarious.

I guess there is trouble in Bennifer land? He is smart enough by now to know what his words will lead to.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Joseph G-L is totally my boy crush. *swoon* I've loved him since 3rd Rock.

I know a lot of ppl want Bennifer to fail, but I'm rooting for them. Jennifer seems like she could be one of my girlfriends.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yes indeed, the great and bearded John Slattery is seated next to Hamm. I admit it, I'd like to make a sandwich. Ent, I can'. Believe you neglected to mention Slattery!

    ReplyDelete
  26. i'd like a Hamm sammich too. with ryan gosling as the other piece of bread.
    or meat.
    or cheese.
    or avocado.

    you know what i'm sayin.

    dammnit, i'm hongray.

  27. RIP, James Mitchell and Pernell Roberts. "Bonanza" is still one of the best shows on TV. I watch it on TVLAND. Now all of the cast members are gone.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Gerard Butler has a PUG??
    Now, I love him.

I soo do not believe Ace Frehley or Peter Criss are in that Kiss pic.
    That's OK.
    Better if they were.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Good Lord there are a lot of hotties in this lineup. Hamm, JGL, Gosling, McAvoy. And then there are a couple of my girl crushes - Joan Jett and Tilda Swinton. Funny how no one commented on Tom Cruise. I'm not a hater, but I'm not a fan, either. I just never could comprehend the hype about this guy. He looks silly in those pictures, and even sillier when he overacts in many of the climax scenes in his movies.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Tilda supports the Polanski pedo. Fuck her. i used to be a huge fan.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Maks looks at least 35 not 30. No way he was born in 1980.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Must admit...now that I'm 45 years old, damn if ol' Trapper John, M.D. wasn't a SEXY thing back in the day!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Mooshki, I cannot WAIT to see that movie!

Gerard Butler seems to have the same knack my Dad does - the dog never strays from him.

For a second, I thought Heidi Klum looked like Kristin Cavallari.

Orlando has the poorest excuse for a scarf I've ever seen.

  34. Here's the Parade article:

  35. Wow Ben Affleck has a lot of nerve giving his wife shit about talking about the man she loves.

Ben, who kisses Jennifer Lo's ass in a video. I MEAN LITERALLY KISSES HER CABOOSE.

Then goes on to give full interviews with 20/20 on his relationship about how he asked her to marry her among other intimate detail. Then goes on SNL goofing on how he dated J. Lo.

Wow, I mean Ben can be funny. But that was pretty douchey of him to be pissy about Jen G. being sweet over him.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Pernell Roberts was the first man I was ever attracted to... I was a little girl, my dad watched Bonanza every week, and while all my friends liked Little Joe I was attracted to the attractive man with the brains.

    ReplyDelete
  37. At first I was all bitter because Gerard Butler was walking his dog in public without a leash (which is insanely unsafe) until I realized my emotion for what it was: jealous. I can only get my swamp dog to heel when there’s nothing to distract her, which is to say she doesn’t heel at all.

@Mooski, thanks for the trailer--totally want to see it now.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Juliette Lewis looks good in that picture because she's hiding the crazy.

Tilda looks like a middle aged Dakota Fanning.

    I thank you.

    Me thanks Enty too. Agreeeeeeeeed.

    Ben always looks pissed.

    Very cute pic of JL.

I'll never understand the interest in Gerard Butler. Probably because he looks like someone I know who is a manslut who thinks they have it going on.

Benicio always looks like he's recovering from 500 hangovers.......A new movie title perhaps.

Kevin Kline is looking old. Bless him for that.

  40. KISS!!!!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!

Saw them in Dallas in December, and they rocked huge and hard!!!

    KISS ARMY forever

  41. Enty, Enty - that bearded man sitting next to the bearded Jon Hamm is John Slattery, who is married to Talia Balsam, who also plays his ex-wife on the show. Talia balsam's other distinction is being the only woman who has married George Clooney.

    (bows) Thank you very much.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Thank you for putting Pernell Roberts in the top spot, Enty. :)

Not only was this man a gorgeous, talented, intelligent, sensitive actor who played two of the most iconic characters in the history of television, he was also a progressive activist who fought for civil rights when it was a very dangerous time for anyone to do so in this country. He marched at Selma, he forced the "Bonanza" producers to hire actual minority actors to portary minority characters, and he nearly stopped production on the show by refusing to stop participating in protests upon the orders of the main "Bonanza" sponsor (Chevrolet). He had true integrity and courage while others cowered in fear.

I don't have many celebrity crushes, but Mr. Roberts was so incredibly classy, handsome, and compassionate that I can't help myself with him. What an amazing person--he will be dearly missed.

RIP Pell. Take a ride with Sport for me. ;)

  43. Does anyone really care about The Runaways movie? I sure don't.

    LOVE Kevin Kline!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Awww, Ben was laughing and joking when he said that about his Jen. Am I the only one who saw that interview? You really ought to SEE THE INTERVIEW before you make judgements.

  45. OH MY GOD, MOOSHKI - that movie looks hysterical! Thank you for posting the link! Can't wait!

He was the ONLY thing I noticed in the picture.
I love Mad Men. My husband bugs me for my solid John Slattery crush.
    Swoon!

I know, me too. Loved to hate that character.

  49. Kevin Kline and Benicio del Toro...yum and yummer.

SO sad about James Mitchell/Palmer Cortland! Haven't watched AMC in years, but in college a huge crowd would gather in the TV room at lunch (in the Union, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) to watch and it was a blast! I swear, we all cried when Jenny died.

Anyway, Palmer Cortland was a really great character.

  52. Tom Cruise's shoes are different in the jump shots than in the running shots. What's up with that?

    ReplyDelete
  53. thanks for the pic of Michael Chiklis....he is one of the most underrated actors...I would love to see him reprise his role on The Shield someday...best show EVER.

  54. That wax figure looks NOTHING like Heidi. WTH?

    Yay for JGL!

oooh...two of my FAVORITE things: Jon Hamm AND beer. mmmmmm

That is some odd posture there, Katie Holmes Cruise.

    Mmm...cold stone.

    Orlando Bloom is Team Gryffindor.
