Lafayette Gets A Lover On True Blood

Can't wait for the next season of True Blood? Well, the Hollywood Reporter is saying that Kevin Alejandro is joining the cast of True Blood and that he and Lafayette will become more than just friends. Apparently Kevin will be taking care of Lafayette's mother and one thing leads to another. The fact that Lafayette's mother is going to be played by Alfre Woodard just makes this even better. I'm ready for the new season!

  4. I was disappointed with what they did w Lafayette last season. Like many, I was hoping he'd have hot vampire sex with the Viking, but it never materialized. This development sounds promising and hopefully will return Lafayette back to the sassy bitch he was in season 1.

I could never get into the show. Twilight ruined vampires for me.

  6. Lafayette is my favourite of the show. It seems like he was getting back to his old flamboyant self and I LOVE IT.

  8. I love me some Lafayette. I think he played his role brilliantly after the whole vampire torture storyline. He was a totally different guy there for awhile. I can't wait for more True Blood. And more Eric!

  9. I can't help it, I love the actor and how he portrays him. However, it drives me NUTS it is so far removed from the original character and his personal story line. They have altered all the characters plot lines from the books.

  11. Lordy! Lots of fellow True Bloodians on the blog. And Lafayette is my absolute favorite! They should just give him an Emmy, he's so good.

God, I love that show. I think I'll go back and watch Seasons 1 and 2..

  14. Love his character. Hope they keep him around awhile.

Although if they want to kill of ERW's character I wouldn't shed a tear.
I still can't believe they kept her and got rid of Allan Hyde who was amazing!

  17. I love the books, but I actually think the plots in the TV show are better. And the actors are just amazing. With the books, I never wanted Sookie to end up with Eric. Eric in the book just bugs the crap out of me (altho not nearly so much as Bill. God, I can't stand Bill).

On the TV show, now, I can't wait to see what they do with Sookie and Eric.

Oh, Alexander. Six months is far too long to wait, my darling.

  18. The guy they have cast as "Alcide' for Season 3 looks pretty good too. One thing that won't change is that Eric is so freakin' hot. Absolute best show on TV.
I agree ERW HAS to go..ugh! Don't even like her playing that character.
