I Pity The Fool - A Team Trailer
The Edmonton Journal somehow managed to get a hold of the A-Team trailer a full week before it was scheduled to be released. Being the fine journalists they are, they dropped their beaver tails and poutine and uploaded the trailer to their site. Alas, it could only be seen by Canadians. So, they stopped sifting through their Hilary Duff/Mike Comrie photos and found a new way for the rest of the world to enjoy it. Yes, it has Bradley Cooper and Jessica Biel in it, but hey, it also has Liam Neeson and Patrick Wilson. You need to watch it quickly because Fox is probably just a wee bit pissed and will probably pull it.
All I have to say is WHY do they keep giving Jessica Biel movie roles??? Do they not pay any attention to her movie track record? Didn't the last one go straight to DVD???
ReplyDeleteOk Bradley Cooper "operating" that huge gun in the last scene was hilarious. I don't know if I can watch something with Jessical Biel in it and I am not that crazy about cooper. I don't even think Liam Neeson could make it all better.
ReplyDeleteAh, childhood memories. I'll try to keep them out of my mind when I see this. I hope the movie turns out to be a lot better than my first impression. One of the reasons the show worked so well was the chemistry between the actors.
ReplyDeleteWow that cast is much better looking then the old A-team
ReplyDeleteLiam Neeson is so damn hot. Is it too early to start perving on him yet, I don't think his been a widower a year yet.
ReplyDeleteWow...Patrick Wilson and Liam Neeson are the bright light at the end of tunnel for that movie.
ReplyDeleteSeriously though, a tank...with parachutes attached...and out pops Bradly Cooper firing a hugh-ass gun off said tank at it flies through the air?
I <3 Patrick Wilson. I will definitely see this one.
ReplyDeletei really really hope liam neeson is not the answer to that blind about the actor who lost his wife and now is trying boys, cause damn i want some of that! I love him in love actually
ReplyDelete@Stacy, heard Liam is now batting for the other team. :-(
ReplyDeleteI PITY THE FOOL WHO MAKES THIS MOVIE WITHOUT MR. T
ReplyDeletesigned,
Mr. T
omg, hilarious! it looks over-the-top hokey, i totally want to go see it. looks like campy retro fun, i hope it does well.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, Liam Neeson is possibly the least gay guy I can imagine in his peer group. Is it just me?
ReplyDeleteEither way, I will watch this movie just for him and the memories from my childhood. Thanks for sharing the trailer, Enty!
NOoooooooo @Linnea and Sunnyside, I never saw that BI, can someone repost it?
ReplyDeleteI remember hearing from various sources and seeing it in Janice Dickinson's autobiography, that Liam was hung like a horse, wow, if this true our loss is the other team's game
Hey that's my daily paper!
ReplyDeletehere montana
ReplyDeleteAfter this actor unexpectedly lost his wife, he had a major life change. Now that he’s single, he’s considered to be a great catch, but it’s unlikely that any lucky ladies will “catch” him. That’s because he now prefers young men. Particularly slender male escorts between 18 and 21. He cruises the web for young men and calls himself “Leo.” If he’s VERY interested in someone he will fly the guy to wherever he is. He brings the escorts to his homes in New York and Los Angeles and is always polite and generous. Sorry, ladies.
"sigh" another one bites the dust!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like all kinds of summer movie awesome. And I'm a HUGE fan of the TV version (Dirk benedict was my first crush!)
ReplyDeleteI THOUGHT IT WAS A SPOOF....OMG...
ReplyDeleteWell, I remember the tv series as being a bit hokey, although I loved it. Looks like the movie is more of the same. I'll probably see it.

ReplyDelete@sunnyside I really think that Stanley Tucci is the answer to that blind. I hope so, at least.
ReplyDeleteI think that whole LEO/LIAM thing is too much of a dead giveaway for it to be Liam. If you were hiding your desire for young boys I don't think you would use a name that similar to yours.
ReplyDelete@Stacy - sadly, I don't think it's Stanley. His wife's death wasn't sudden.
ReplyDeleteLove Patrick Wilson and everyone in this cast except Jessica. Sigh. There's always one...
Just so we're clear, it's really not common to see the beaver tail pastry for sale in Edmonton (it's more of an eastern Canadian thing, and we are very much western) and while you can buy poutine here, I've heard it's best in the east (again, where it originates). I just had to clear that up. We western Canadians are VERY different from our eastern counterparts and extremely proud of that fact. Oh, and for the record, we don't stalk Hilary Duff, and old Mike. We couldn't care less! lol
ReplyDeletebut believe it or not,we do have a sense of humour!
ReplyDeletemy dad worked on this movie set doing some grading before they built.
;o)

I thought this was gonna be a shitfest but I love Liam Neeson and Patrick Wilson but Mr. T was irreplaceable. I hate to admit this but he was my favorite. Dont ask me, why. The replacement for Mr. T doesnt live up to Mr. T. They could have just used Mr. T. It would have been so cool if they did that.
Actually I would guess that MommaBear does have a sense of humour. She was simply pointing out the regional differences. It would be like instead of saying for Canadians they put down all their beaver tails and poutine and uploaded the trailer to their site that Americans put down their crawfish and alligator. The reference doesn't work across the country.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind Brad or Jessica in movies - their off-screen douchiness hasn't affected that for me yet, and I love Liam & Patrick, so I'm excited for this!
ReplyDeleteYikes, I find this style of trailer really annoying. All the "blinking" or blacking out seems like a really lazy edit job.
ReplyDeleteI will still go see this but I'll be thinking they should have gone with Mr. T the whole time.
AAAAAAAAAAND it's gone!
ReplyDelete@Mooshki - er, have you not seen "I now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry"? I will never watch Jessica Biel again. (although that entire movie was an atrocity)
ReplyDeleteLOL @ Cheryl. And I cannot tolerate an A-Team movie without the inimitable Mr. T! He was my fave and could still carry it off IMHO.
ReplyDeleteawww shit, I missed a chance to take a shot at Jessica Biel's shit acting but then again, I don't need to see the trailer to do that.
ReplyDeleteAh man. I missed it.
ReplyDeleteas soon as I post this it'll probably disappear but found the trailer on another location.
ReplyDelete*give it up movie folk, it's on the 'net and its like trying to hold a bucket full of buttery spaghetti in your fingers. just as soon as you contain it it shows up somewhere else*
*CACKLE*
and NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! that blind item is NOT LIAM NEESON. I agree it's too obvious. :P
