Ed Westwick Peacemaker As Leighton Meester Goes Off

Another reason to love Ed Westwick. According to a report in the NY Post this morning, a bunch of the cast of Gossip Girl went into a New York City restaurant Tuesday night and from the moment they entered they were out of control. The group was at a table and was talking really loudly and every other word of their mouth was an f bomb. Well, the table next to the group had enough and asked Leighton Meester and the others to watch their language. Leighton being the classy piece of work she is said, "f**k you! How dare you tell us to keep it down?"

Apparently some other women at the table joined in the chorus towards the other table. Then, Ed got up, and walked over to the complainers and said, "Don't worry about my friends. We should all be happy. Let's hug it up, guys."

And you know what? One of the guys at the other table did hug it out with Ed.
