Blind Items Revealed

Thursday, October 29, 2009

This past weekend this C list cable reality star who had his own show spoke at an event addressing tattoos, taboos and Jews but he did talk a bit about his TV show a bit as well. As an admittedly non-practicing Jew he was asked if he had any Jewish tattoos. His reply? “I have a dollar sign on my hand.” Some in the audience laughed, most did not. Know your audience dude. He recognized how reality TV had changed his life financially for the better and that it opened many doors for him, but he also spent considerable time complaining about the show. He did not enjoy it and never wanted to do subsequent season(s) but was tied to obligations in his contract. He complained about how the producers wanted to make each episode about death. He felt less like an artist and more like he was playing psychiatrist to the customers. He seemed very bitter about the experience.

  7. I am having the same issue Lana .. I am only recognizing about half the people's names in the blinds! But it isn't Just the reality folks ... I am not recognizing some of the "stars" names EITHER!! You have no idea how happy I was when I saw Dennis Quaid's name!! : D - LOL!!

How funny that as they age the Quaid boys get more and more freakish!

  9. I remember watching one episode of his show once (first/last time) and the "plot" was that he was having trouble "training" his dog, by which I mean he hit it and that didn't "fix" said dog. It was horrible to watch and established the guy as a HUGH @$$hole in my mind forever. Actually, the show also did that for me with Kat Von "The D Stands For Douchebag."

  15. A tattoo artist, like a bartender, ought to know he or she is gonna spend time "playing psychiatrist," I'd think, considering how many memorial tats I know people get.

Imma stop bitching in a minute, but I don't think ANY reality star should get a better than C listing. I know some people love the stuff, but I can't stand it, and I feel like realitard shows are sub-par compared to professional-actor stuff. Aw, hell, reality stars are paid, shows are scripted, they are "professional" actors, too, aren't they? Bitch FAIL.
