Adrian Pasdar Busted For DUI
TMZ is reporting that at about 3am this morning, police pulled over a guy who was driving 90 miles per hour on the 405 here in Los Angeles. They also said he was not staying in his lane. It turns out the driver was drunk and that it was Adrian Pasdar who is best known for his role on Heroes. In all the years I have lived here I don't think I have ever managed to get the mini-van up to 90 miles per hour on the 405. I have fantasized about it, but it has never happened. I think there should be a rule that on LA freeways there is no speed limit. 95% of the time no one could travel faster than the speed limit anyway so the other 5% of the time should be our reward for constantly being taunted by 55 and 65 signs while cruising along at 5 or 6 mph for hours and hours every day for the rest of our lives.
I am convinced that most high sped chases in LA are just drivers who are tired of being frustrated and are willing to spend 30 days in jail for the opportunity to actually drive above the posted speed limit.
I once got a $400 ticket on the 405 heading south just as I crossed into Orange county at 7 AM on a Saturday. Bastards. Was only going 79.
ReplyDeleteAw, shit son. I liked him!
ReplyDeletehmm is he the answer to the blind about the drunk ass tv star?? i think we all thought Kiefer, cant remember if it said married or not.
ReplyDeleteA $400 ticket for only 79 mph? That's crazy. It must have been a slow day for the cops.
ReplyDeleteTMZ had a picture of him leaving jail with a bail bonds billboard in the background.
I've always liked him, but there's no excuse for drunk driving.
I remember when he was on Judging Amy he looked rather bloated. On Heroes he looked trim again. I think he was killed off, but I don't watch the show anymore.
ReplyDeleteWhen I get my minivan to 90, it rattles too much!
@califblondy, I think that included the driving school fee to avoid points, a huge scam in that state.
ReplyDeleteNice body.
ReplyDeletewell somebody isn't ready to make nice.
ReplyDeleteAh, dude. What a disappointment. I used to have a huge crush on him, back in his "Profitt" days...bet no one remembers that one...
ReplyDeleteLaughing my rear off at the description of the 405, and California freeways in general. Good one. So glad I live in OC instead of LA...
ReplyDeleteSporky, my friends and I all LOVED 'Profit.' :)
ReplyDeleteMy car starts shaking at about 60.
LOL at Pookie - I get that Dixie Chicks reference! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI drove on the 405 last weekend (first time in LA) and I was bored to tears. If I move to LA, I'll seriously consider giving up driving.
ReplyDeleteI was once clocked by a state trooper driving in the opposite direction going 90 mph; however by the time I reached their sting operation and got pulled, I had slowed to 77mph. No ticket was given, but I have since started using speed control to keep me in the 73-77 range.
Our state needs the money Robert, remember? The cost for my car tags really went up.
ReplyDeleteI try to keep it at 78, but if I'm on the 10 through Palm Springs, it's at least 80 or else get mowed down by a semi.
Profitt was AWESOME! The cardboard box?!?!
ReplyDeleteI have no tolerance for drunk drivers. He could have killed someone. hope he doesn't do that with his children in the car. Ass.
ReplyDeleteGlad Profit wasn't a figment of my imagination! Everyone else I ask just goes, "Huh?"
ReplyDeleteI remember Profitt too, and the cardboard box, lol. That show had potential.
ReplyDeleteMaybe getting killed on Heroes got him this way LOL.
ReplyDeleteHe had some great parties in high school!
ReplyDeletei like him in "heroes".
ReplyDeleteI have no patience for this shit. I am driving to work at 3am and I see these drunk people swerving all the time. I feel like the graveyard 911 operators know me when I call.
ReplyDeleteI just want to make it to work alive and well and come home in the afternoon, but I have to constantly worry about dipshits like this.
Asshole.
Sorry.
he deserves the DUI.
ReplyDeleteme, i can't stand the 405. out here in the boonies, i have to watch the limit, 90 is nothing between palmdale and acton. of course i've driven sports cars for years, it's cruise control that's important!
hah! once on the way to vegas in the OLD firebird, my son leaned over my shoulder and said "mom, do you know you're going 95?"
i said "yup."
but i don't drive after drinking, and i ALWAYS have control. if i get busted, i 'fess up.
and i really don't speed that much, guys. i keep up with traffic, and don't change lanes a lot. that's what the CHP looks for.
Oh whatever, you sanctimonious twatwaffles - like YOU'VE never driven faced (and BUZZED driving IS drunk driving)!
ReplyDeleteWhere was his Dixie Chick wife? And I have 'Profit' on DVD - LOVE IT!
/don't drink and drive kids!
"sanctimonious twatwaffles"
ReplyDeleteI hate it, and I like it.
