Pete Doherty - Not Really Clean Or Sober
Pete Doherty has added another European country in which he has seen the inside of a jail cell. Over the weekend Pete was arrested in Berlin after he threw a pint glass of beer through a car window. He had just been kicked out of a bar after drinking there all night and hassling everyone for drugs.
When he got thrown out at 7am, he took his beer glass and threw it at the car. He was arrested and charged with destroying property and was released. Last week Pete was physically removed from a stage in Germany when he started performing the Nazi anthem which is illegal.
Isn't he dreamy?
ReplyDelete*swoon*
ReplyDelete/sarcasm.
Has he slept with any German judges? Will this mean he's actually going to do jail time?
ReplyDeleteOr will they prosecute in England and he'll walk as usual?
I think the Burberry scarf over the greasy, sweat-laden shoulders is a classy touch.
ReplyDeleteThe 'Nazi anthem' Doherty sang is Deuschland Uber Alles (sorry if wrong). Most Brits think this is still the German national anthem. It was changed after WW2, but most people can't remember the new one. I know he's all sorts of an idiot, but not a Nazi.
ReplyDeleteI wonder who's the lucky guy that gets to strip search him?
ReplyDeletems_wonderland, I don't think there was ever any implication that Pete was a Nazi. I think it was more that he offended the audience by singing the verboten anthem, thereby implying that they were all Nazis.
ReplyDeleteWhenever there is a Pete Doherty posted here or on DListed, I have to immediately scroll past the photo. He is the very embodiment of ick, nast.
God forbid he and LiLo ever get it on. The toxic fumes released from their bodies would create a nuclear holocaust.
LOL @ Babs...I wondered what that was about.
ReplyDeletejust die already. seriously.
ReplyDeleteHe and Lindsay Lohan should have a night of hot junkie sex together. can you imagine the STANK???
ReplyDeleteNo.
ReplyDeleteFate would pick that moment to allow Lindsay's egg to meet Pete's sperm.
Oh hell to the no.
I'd love to know how he is still walking around breathing. He looks like he crawled out of Night of the Living Dead.
ReplyDeleteThat would be a great photo for a caption contest.
ReplyDeleteThat is the most pitiful picture I have ever seen. He is just screaming low self-esteem and "Help me!"
ReplyDeleteBut...I am too tired and really don't have the time or the stomach to help the brother out.
Where are his parents? Is he an orphan? Can't they "Britney Spears" him or something?
I think he may be a danger to himself or others.
Who lets their kids go see him in concert?
ugh. mouth-breather.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe I missed the visit of such a great man to my neighbourhood......ha ha.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I read in the German press he had already been thrown out of one bar in Wienerstraße before ending up at the bar where the incident happened - the 'Trinkteufel' or literally, 'Drink Devil', which describes itself as 'The gate to hell'. Now I've lived in this borough for years and frequented many of it's drinking estabishments. I've even been to 'Trinkteufel on one occassion. But never in all my years have I ever seen anyone get thrown out of anywhere in this part of the neighbourhood(though I have heard the occasional story) - most bars seem to have a pretty high tolerance of disruptive alcoholics. So to get thrown out of even one bar in an evening is quite an achievement, if one could put it that way. That he then went on to piss off the staff of Trinkteufel sufficiently that they were contemplating throwning him out is also quite something. The evening I was there I dropped in with some friends for one final post-clubbing drink to round off the evening, the place was filled with people who could barely stand or communicate. That Doherty was too much for that place says a lot. I think by now that this is just going to turn into some kind of deathwatch. I'd be surprised if he makes it to 31.
Theres an awesome song by a band called the indelicates "waiting for pete doherty to die"
ReplyDeleteah-mazing lol
