Must See Television Thursday
It seems like a long time ago that Thursday nights were coined Must See Television. I will admit it was pretty good and until Survivor came along and tried to dethrone Friends I'm not sure any of the other channels even bothered to try and program anything.
Well, Thursday nights are not back, but Thursday morning on The View should be pretty damn close to must see television. Why? Elisabeth Hasselbeck versus Adam Lambert. Adam is scheduled to appear on The View Thursday morning and he and Elisabeth are going to exchange lap dances and simulated sex while Whoopi waves dollar bills and Barbra Walters talks to herself in a corner and gums bon bons.
Seriously, this should be good.
Since he's already out, will she bother to ask him where his hand's been?
ReplyDeleteI predict she will tell him his performance on the AMAs was inappropriate for network tv, and he will ask if her children are watching tv at 10:45 p.m. And that will be all. The View only does about 3 minutes with each guest.
ReplyDeleteWell, Enty, since I'll be sleeping while that's on, I'll be counting on you for the blow-by-blow. OO I made a funny!
ReplyDeleteI don't understand the interest in Adam Lambert. He's creepy looking. I could care less if he fell off the earth.
ReplyDeleteThere is something about Adam Lambert that is excruciately attractive to me. I could look at that boy's face for hours.
ReplyDeleteHey, Thursday--The Office! 30 Rock! Still good.
And Joy Behar screaches uncontrollably.
ReplyDelete@mngoddess - I could care less, too - that's why I'm looking forward to it. I look forward to seeing where his career's going to go and am looking forward to the blow-by-blow, like Jesse D :)
ReplyDeletepass
ReplyDelete@Merlin D Bear, wasn't that Kelly Ripa?
ReplyDeleteI think it was Kelly, but I like her so lets blame it on EH.
ReplyDelete@ figgy - me too. I think he's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see Adam play Freddie Mercury in a movie.
ReplyDeletei'm all sorts of meh about it. don't give a damn one way or the other. i'd be more interested in watching hasselback & co. call out babwa on that super long affair w/ the married senator.
ReplyDeleteGod I f*cking hate Hasslebitch.. I hope he rips her a new one.
ReplyDeleteAdam Lambert is adorable,
ReplyDeleteand I'm old enough to be his
grandmother.
But The View does this: they invite
the 'outrage du jour' and
our Adam it is...I guess they couldn't get Tiger Woods.
I'm sure our dear Elizabeth will
have her sourpuss on, and glare,
but that's why we watch: for the sideshow.
Adam Lambert isn't everyone's cup of tea, but neither was Madonna, and see how long she's lasted.
I doubt that he'll blast her; he's still a 'kid,' but I believe the women will behave themselves.
For a so-called 'christian,' Elizabeth sure is a douchebag. I guess she didn't get the memo from Jesus to 'love one another.'
I can't stand Elizabeth H.
ReplyDeletei'm sorry, but i LOVE survivor. i had every intention of auditioning, that was my incentive for losing the 90lbs. in the first place! then my back went, and the hell began. i even liked her and her friendship with roger (i think that was his name) when she was on survivor. that was then.
ReplyDeletei'm more interested in how ethan zohn is holding up.
Oooops.
ReplyDeleteMy bad, as you can tell I watch these shows religiously.
oh shit! Enty..that was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteWhoopi is stoned out of her skull everydamn day so this could be good. either way seeing Hassleback get her's will be divine.
