Ms. Cool Needs A Favor

Ms Cool has been a long time reader and commenter on the site and has a little favor to ask. It seems that one of her photos was published in the November 30, 2009 issue of Life & Style Magazine. Yes, the one with the Kardashians on the cover. Unfortunately, Ms. Cool didn't know it was going to be published and didn't buy any copies of the magazine. After raiding doctor's and dentist's offices across the land she still has not located any. So, if you happen to have one sitting around and are finished looking at it, kindly leave a comment in the comments and I'm sure Ms. Cool will be in touch.

    Rosebud Salve is lip balm. Smith's make an incredible one (they have it at Sephora among other places), you get a big metal tin of it for $6 and it works like a dream. I love it!

    Rosebud Salve is a do-it-all salve that has been around for over 100 years. Many people use it for just a lip balm but there are many other cosmetic uses as documented in this eBay guide I wrote a few years back:

    Beth - Dr GF Smith is the founder of Rosebud Salve. Rosebud is actually called "Smith's Rosebud." Rosebud Perfume Company is run by his great-niece and the business has stayed in the family for these 100 years.

    Hah that's hilarious b/c I just smeared some on my lips. I wipe it right onto my lips, rather than dipping my finger in and people look at me like I'm nuts. *Love this product!
