Jon Gosselin Got $90,000 From Hailey Glassman

Do you remember when Jon Gosselin was trying to come up with the money he had taken from the family bank account? A judge ordered Jon to repay $180,000. Everyone assumed he didn't have that much money and it turns out everyone was right. According to The National Enquirer, Jon got the money from Hailey Glassman. Apparently he took her entire life savings, all $90,000 of it so he could avoid going to jail. She gave it to him but hasn't heard anything back about getting the money.

With no prospects for media work and Jon's aversion to getting a normal job, this could take awhile for Hailey to get her money back.

  4. Yeah, normally I'd feel sorry for someone who gave their life savings to an idiot. But no, not this time. Karma's a bitch.

  9. @Isabel: Blechhhhh!

I can't feel sorry for someone her age who had $90K, and then "loaned" it to this freak. Where'd she get that kind of money?

  10. @ austinrob: I thought the same thing, lol.

  11. She's learning one of the big lessons in life: As in gambling, don't hand over what you can't afford to lose.

  13. lol @ Isabel! Your comment about tears reminded me of that South Park episode called Scott Tenorman must die:

Cartman: Yes! Yesss! Oh, let me taste your tears, Scott! [starts licking Scott's tears off his face]
Mm, your tears are so yummy and sweet!

I'm just wondering how this little twit who seems to have no visible career had $90K in savings and I, a responsible professional type person three times her age have a tenth of that.

  15. Dear Hailey,

Your 15 minutes cost you $6000 a minute. Was he worth it?

    Best Regards,

  17. I'm joining the chorus of, "Where the hell did Hailey Glassman get $90,000?"

I know her dad is a wealthy plastic surgeon, maybe from him? Or an inheritance from her grandparents? (If so you can be sure they are spinning in their graves.)

  18. You know sometimes I ask myself where I went wrong in life that I am much older then HG and don't have $90,000.

Does dealing drugs really pay that much? Because if so I am going back to talk to my old Guidance Counselor.

  19. Hailey's dad is a plastic surgeon AND I would imagine she has received some cash for interviews and "appearances"...

  20. she learned a valuable lesson---$90 grand is a lot to pay for it, but i bet she never forgets it.

  21. I do feel bad for her, I can't help it. In her recent interviews, even the ones with Jon standing right there, she stopped cutting him slack and basically expressed herself a lot more maturely than he ever has.

Yes, she has been incredibly stupid but I have feeling, as the poster above said, that she has learned some major life lessons.

  24. Plus, she'll have to pay gift tax on it.

  25. I was wondering why he was willing to 'commit' to her so quickly.

  26. I actually feel bad for her. 22 is young, especially when your parents have money (the money tends to shield you from the realities of life longer). I'm sure she'll be a lot smarter with her money & relationships in the future.

  27. Going to take a while to see her money again? Try never.

He stole the money from his wife what did she think, he was a decent honorable person? Her parents need to step in to help her with major decisions, clearly she's not able to see adult situations for what they are.

Jon's a lazy person who feels life owes him and without his wife to navigate financially for him he's reduced to stealing from a young woman.

  28. People's Court time! I hope that girl had a loan agreement in writing.

Despite the fact she's a f*cktard, I do feel bad for her. John's the adult (age wise anyway), in this situation and Hailey is ultimately a kid, and one who seems to have extremely low self esteem at that. God only knows what John promised her before he used her up. Oh well, jokes on John, he'd better hope Kate lets him pitch a tent on their front lawn, cause you know he's losing his Trump tower pad next.

  29. Biggest lesson people need to learn early in life. Don't loan relatives/friends/lovers money~~~ or co-sign a loan for them!! 80% of the time they don't pay it back!! Watch Judge Judy sometime lol!!!
